OMG, after more than 5 years of waiting for my Skilled Migrant Visa, I finally got the approval this week. Pero iba pala yun feeling na, eto na talaga. Mas matindi yun emotion ng takot at kaba.

May I know kung san ka nag-apply ng Skilled Migrant Visa at paano? Magkano kaya iprepare ko? May I know the link? (pls pm me if not allowed here) hay madami akong tanong..

Sis, for Visa 190 or 189, try to prepare muna yung diploma/certificates and other papers related sa work experiences mo para sa assessment. Yan muna ang ayusin mo kasi medyo matrabaho yan lalo na kapag madami kang previous company. Then take IELTS while waiting. You need those stuff para macheck mo kung maacchieve mo yung required points. Mas detailed ang instruction sa website, or check mo din sa pinoyau forum.

hello! got married a month ago, and were planning to migrate to AU. we have a 4 yr old kid, and ang plan namin is mauuna si hubby muna dun.. dahil kelangan meron pa din kaming source of income in case mashort sya, makakapagpadala ko sa kanya. after a year or 2 ssunod kami ni daughter. we have a relative (my mom's cousin)in Blacktown who is very willing to sponsor us.

question. what type of visa do we apply for? nag browse ako sa http://www.immi.gov.au/ and i think ang pinaka pwede under general skilled migration is Skilled Independent (189) or yung skilled regional sponsored (489) tama ba ako? mahigpit ba sila? kailangan ng show money, etc?

another question. kapag nagbayad ka for application, ang nakalagay na fee is 140K php, tapos nadeny ka... bye bye na sa pinang bayad mo? or magbabayad ka lang once approved na? sorry mejo noob na tanong. salamat sa makakasagot.

^Sorry, Smile22, if you might read my response as bitchiness, but you should go to the immigration website ng australian government. Kung gusto mo ng tulong pa, punta ka sa lawyer who specialises with immigration law diyan sa Pilipinas, huwag kang kumuha ng lawyer na peperahan ka lang or worst, someone you think na maraming alam pero wala pala. Lahat ng countries when it comes to immigration ay mahigpit lalo na kung madaming illegals. Madami na akong alam na stories here sa Australia na madaming ginastos na sayang lang kasi nakikinig lang sa kung sino-sino.

smile22 - mahigpit syempre sis, pero kung qualified naman kayo, try nyo. No show money. And yes, if denied, hindi na isosoli but that's the same everywhere.

smile22 - check mo yung requirements sa Visa 189 or 190. importante kasi mag match yung skills/qualification ni husband. IELTS and yung educational background/employment assessment (Diploma, TOR, Job roles wit detailed description) ang pwedeng unahin. not sure lang kung pano sa ibang visa subclass. much better na icheck mo muna sa immi. gov. au, para macheck mo kung saan kayo pwede. and carry naman na kayo na lang mag asikaso ng mga requirements, online naman kasi siya, no need na kumuha ng agent. goodluck!

hello. mejo naliwanagan na ko sa reqts and process dun sa site ng immi.gov.au... question lang sisses.. if i will apply for a family status... ako yung primary applicant, si hubby secondary/dependent... pwede bang sya ang mauna lumipad? and then sunod ako like after a year? may nakatry na kaya sa inyo dito nun?

mas gusto kasi namin sya sana ang mauna dun, kasi mas stable ang work ko kesa sa kanya. the problem is mas malaki chance na maapprove kung ako ang primary applicant IMO. if sya mauna dun... and i still have work here in the PH, pede ako makapagpadala sknya kung kapusin man sya habang sinusustentuhan yung daughter namin here. if ako kasi ang mauuna umalis, baka ndi kaya masustentuhan yung gastusin nila sa pinas., tas magsstart pa magskul yung daughter namin.

granted maapprove yung family status and ako yung primary, pwede kayang sya (secondary/dependent) ang mauna pa AU? naku sana may mga sis dito na makasagot. thank youuuu so much.

smile22 - ikaw mauuna sis. Kailangan either mauna ka or sabay kayo pumasok kung ikaw ang primary. Pag nakapasok na kayo pwede ka naman umuwi muna.

Sis may bayad po ba ang visa kung working visa or PR visa? Ganto kasi nag apply ako sa isang agency at immediate hiring sila ng accountant sa queensland. Nainterview na ako ng employer at nagsign na ako contract of employment. So nag aayos na lang po ako ng requirements para sa visa. Hindi pa alam ng agency kung ano type ng visa papagamit sa akin(working or PR) magkaiba daw kasi rate non. So don ko naisip kung yung rate ba na yon is yung visa payment at ako ba talaga magsshoulder non? Thank you

Anong visa ang plan nyo applyan? If family application, may relative naman kayo sa australia right? Anong field mo sa pilipinas if you don't mind?

Ask your employer sis kung anong visa ang dapat mong applyan. Hindi mo na actually need ang tulong ng visa consultancy agency kase madali lang naman ifollow yung requirements. PR visa definitely costs a lot more than 457/working visa. Dapat maapplyan mo amg right visa for you otherwise baka masayang lang ang visa application fee.

Hi sis. Sabi ng employer ko Visa 457 daw. Ok lang ba hindi ako dumaan sa agency? Kasi kaya ako nainterview nung employer through that agency. So pinagsign na ako ng Employment Contract nung employer kaya need ko na magsubmit ng requirements sa agency for the visa. Ang sabi sa aking ng agency I need to pay 250k for Visa 457 daw. Yung Half in cash ko daw ibibigay sa agency, the other half ippay ko sa australia through installment dun daw sa kacounter part na consultant nung agency sa Australia. Tama ba yon? Legit naman sa POEA yung agency.
