^ Snow25, naku sis hindi ko din alam. Kumpleto naman lahat documents ko nun nagsubmit ako nun 2009. Basta since 2009,  no update from Embassy. Dec2013 lang ulit gumalaw nun nagrequest for updated medical records. Tapos ayun sunod sunod na contact for dependents updates.

Balak ko unti untiin papalit ng dollars ng baon money ko next year. Saan ba pwede magpapalit ng Peso to AUD ? Any bank ba pwede? Pwede ba sa mga money changers sa mall? I saw palitan today is 1AUD=39.2553php

I plan to stay in sydney and stay with a friend of my sister. Most of the work connections I have din are in Sydney. So mas may chance na dun makakuha ng work. I really don't know my emotion right now. Imagine after 5yrs at single pa ako nuon,  eto na fruit of efforts and waiting in vain. Pero now mejo mabigat loob ko kasi I need to fly alone muna and leave my husband and son.

^ava_garde, sorry no experience sa pagpapalit ng peso to aussie sa Phils. You can just compare the rates. I guess good to exchange your peso to aud in the Phils. Explore mo din yung mga banks like anz and citibank kasi I believe they have offers that you can transfer your funds from a bank account in the phils or setup your account in au before even leaving phils. ^ang na-try ko dati yung air parcel post ng philpost. Within 2 weeks na-receive namin here and may tracking number naman.

We left a lot of our personal stuff din and i don't know if makukuha pa namin kase until now hindi pa ako nakakakita ng pwedeng padalhan. Almost 20 kilos check in excess baggage namin noon sa PAL and we paid around 19K. We are lucky na sa lagay na yan kasi hand carry naman namin is 21 kilos lang dapat and yet 8 kilos ang excess pero di na pinansin, baka naawa na sa akin yung babae sa counter kasi that time super pawis na ako at halatang walang tulog tapos umiiyak pa baby ko. I guess i just have to close my eyes and shop na lang here.

not a shipping company but a courier service. try BM express. office in antipolo. afair, unlimited weight for a minimum of 3 BB boxes. i just forgot the rates. after 5 weeks i claimed the boxes kinda in good shape ^_^ at the customs office near the sydney airport. but BM also has door-to-door arrangement for a fee. i think the latter is more practical.

Hi, i went to sydney last septemeber mga 2 weeks din ako. I fell inlove and now thinking of trying my chances there na mag migrate. RN kasi ako dito pinas pero di ako nagpractice. Ngayon, i have 6 years of experience as MedRep, nakita ko naka lista sya sa CSOL but not in SOL. Tapos may conditions apply pa na nakalagay. The assessing hody is vetasses. Meron ba nakaka alam kung ano dapat kong gawin? Under general ocuupation sya sa vetasses. Tapos my friend who did the same thing 3 years ago applied for visa 190. 9 months lang ok na papers nila mag asawa tapos snasa perth na sila ngayon. Gusto ko din kahit sa probinsya pa sya ng australia basta ayos ang papel. Di naman ako mapili.

Nandito kame in Sydney ni hubby now for vacation & we're loving it! solve na solve kame sa weather kase medyo malamig pa (except last Friday naghit ng 41C, hehe!)

We're here for 3 weeks & kakatapos lang ng 1st week namen, ok din kase hindi siksik na siksik ang itinerary, na-se-space out namin mga lakad & may time to rest in between.
