How's the weather in Sydney from November to December? Tia

should be summer already but because of the climate change it's crazy.

the other day, at around 2am we had cool breeze. yung timong tama lang. by 5am it rained, then 10am, it was around 24 and by 2pm, it went up to 26. b y 5pm, it dropped to 20. then night time pababa na siya, at around 11pm, it was already 16 degrees.

kaya dito, even when they say it's gonna be 26, i still bring my cardi cos lagi na ako na victimise neto. i always end up buying cardis before going home kasi lukaret ang weather dito. melbourne is worse. hahahahaha

Hi mga sis, am back with my question about sending stuff (clothes mostly) to Aust. Jan 10 na kasi ang flight namin ni baby to Perth at hindi ko pa rin na sort out yung gamit namin. Any advise? Pwede ko ba sila ipa-courier or as sea cargo? Anong ma-recommend nyo? Thanks

^You can use the EMS or Surface Air Parcel service ng philpost.  Reliable naman.  I sent my stuff before thru philpost.  May tracking number din naman.

^hi sis, follow-up questions gaano katagal ang delivery naman? Did you pay anything pagkuha mo nun sa Aust, like quarantine fees, storage fees, etc? San mo ni-pick up sa Aust o ni-deliver? May minimun number of kilos ba? Price estimate? Thanks in advance huh!

^Hi Sis,  2 weeks if I remember it correctly.  20 kilos yung pinadala namin pero can't recall na kung may minimum number of kilos.  Meron sa website ata ng philpost yung price per kilo.  I didn't pay any fees pagdating dito as long as the value is less than $1000.  Australia Post will deliver it to your house or if there's no one there to receive, they will leave a card for you to collect at the nearest Australia Post.

Mga sis if ang purpose ng trip is because honeymoon naman and we still haven't bought our plane tix, madali kaya ma-approve? Plan kasi namin na sa Sydney magpunta instead of Asian countries.

Perth pag February is still hot.

as for Phil Post, lagi ako nagpapadala ng box to aus..every year. fastest was 2 weeks. longest was 2 months.

inggat lang sa mga delivery boys ng courier at auspost, iba sa kanila tamad. pag dating sa bahay, susuulat ng card, iiwan sa mail box. wala nang katok katok. lalo na yung company na TNT. prepare lang for the worse at baka kayo mismo kukuha ng box from the post office.

if you have really important items and you want heavy reliability, wala pa din tatalo sa courier like DHL, FED EX.

you'll meet lots of pinoys in Morley and Midland.

if the courier or cargo company you're dealing with will entail you to pick up cargo (by air or sea). you'd really have to clear it up with the cargo company, then go to quarantine and customs. ( you might have to drive to each office) kahit walang tax po yan. you'd have to fill up paper work and pay the fees. of course may mga tanong din yan, they'd have to profile you. i went through a lengthy interview when i brought something in. they initially thought it was of commercial value, but i was able to establish it as personal. so the customs officer had to leave because she had with her the wrong forms. kainis lang talaga when there's only one bus for a certain route and for some reason they missed your stop. maraming tamad kasi na driver.

I think the not so new rule is $900 dollars below are considered tax free. sa airport naman, iinterviewhin ka din when the item is over 1,000 but on the interview, if you are able to clearly establish that the object will be for your personal use, depende na sa maghandle ng case mo, there are times pinalalagpas na nila. this happened to my mom, she had with her almost $1,400 worth of kitchen knives.

Perth is not like Melbourne na minsan lumalamig or umuulan pag summer. It's really straight up summer. summer clothes here are real thin and light in weight.summers are hotter than pinas. its normal to reach 42-43. the heat is dry. AND you'll have to do a lot of walking despite the heat. madali pa buhay ng pinoy kasi may trike/pedicab and free deliveries.

so it pays din to drive. normal lang maglakad ng kilometers to a bus stop/station. a lot of bus stations in WA are open, they only have a marker on the road. WA/Perth public transpo is not as time efficient as other states.

ako i brought in a lot of clothes. In a years time i wasn't wearing them anymore.

walang problem if you'll be bringing in more than 1k worth of personal items as long as you've had them for more years. concern nila most of the time yung bought within a year.

Will lodge my visa application (as dependent sa student visa ni hubby) on Tuesday sa VIA Makati. Buti Dec 25 pa start ng holidays nila. Sana ma-approve at sana mabilis lang!

Subscribing on this thread... our resident visa was just approved last november. We will be arriving in Sydney in March for a one-week vacation, para ma-satisfy lang yung initial entry requirement then we will permanently move to either Melbourne or Sydney by January 2015. Sa mga Sydney based, how is the weather in March? Autumn na di ba so okay lang ba kahit hoodie lang ang dala namin?

Thanks Sis! Follow up question, what attractions do you recommend? Aside from Blue Mountain, ano ba OK puntahan sa Sydney? May nakita akong package, 81 AUD for the following attractions:
