mahirap ata unless working visa or may PR ka na. kasi nung nag tourist ako, 3 months lang binigay saken. im not sure with extending pero kapag for good, baka magtaka sila bat ka extend ng extend? try mo magstudent visa. enroll in a good school. study hard and work your way in getting an employer to sponsor you.

How long narelease yung visa ninyo from the time of application?

Sorry wala kasing definite na time nilalagay sa website and I badly need to schedule my trips baka masagasaan ang visa application ko ng iba pang work trip.

@cind3r3lla- sis my hubby bought the SMART kapamilya sim before going there tapos he bought telstra local sim daw 20 cents per text/call dito sa pinas....so roaming na iyong smart nya dun ako nagtetext then reply niya sa akin iyong local niya....for call, i still don't know pano pero siya nalang tumatawag sa suncell sim ko... or we do skype.

If you mean beauty products,like makeup? just dont carry it in your carry on baggage.If you mean toiletries, wala naman bawal but I suggest lang yung pinaka-hiyang mo lang na products there ang bilhin mo kasi meron din naman dito.Try sealing each bottle with clear packaging tape para hindi matapon, then pack it ziploc bags.Anong visa ba ina-pply mo?

Seriously:Iphones,Ipads are cheaper here than say, sa Pinas.But then hindi ako I-gadget person so I might be mistaken.I compared prices kasi sa US, Dubai and dito at mas mura lalabas dito lalo na yung ipad newest version (gift sa niece ko nagpabili lang sa akin). Uggs boots wouldn't be a bad idea if you're into it.Clothes wise pabor lang sa akin kasi bigger sized dito (ehem).Shop in SIngapore na lang on your way back hehe

si hubby, reklamo na ang mahal-mahal daw dyan. worried at unti-unting nauubos ang bala nya.
kita mo yun, sa akin pa nagpapabili ng iphone5 galing dito sa UAE eh mas mura pala dyan. utakan pa ako!
tina-target namin (me & bub) na sumunod by sept or january.. depende kung may makuha na siyang work by then syempre (crossed fingers). pero just in case, im building my loots na rin. ano sa palagay mo ang advisable na isama ko sa luggage ko? syempre, nag-stuck na ako ng summer outfit. hehe.

^well, "mura"relatively kasi they are the wine growing region here in Australia aba dapat lang mas mura dito. Make a trip to Margaret River out of it sa vacation niyo, there are a lot of vineyards along the river and it's a nice to place to visit (sabi lang, I've never gone there).Try to visit ASAP as the weather will turn cold soon, but I guess balak niyo pumunta dito on winter?

Work wise depends sa line of work ni hubby mo.My hubby is in oil and gas so hindi mauubusan ng work dito We came here as a family on 457 from Singapore (work-based, emaning may naghihintay na work na for him here even before kami nakarating dito) and it took about 2 1/2 months-3 months to get our visa.May personal appearance yun sa Embassy of Australia in Singapore of course.

Mahal talaga dito but then we're way beyond the converting of peso-aud na.Pag lagi kasing ganun ang gagawin mo you won't buy anything here hahahaha! For me I bought Lactacyd sa atin, 10 AUD kasi dito compared to less than 200 php yata sa Pinas for a 250 ml bottle ( I bought 4, enough to last til next uwi namin sa Pinas). Get a decent haircut,mani pedi supplies for yourself kasi hindi ako masaya sa resulta ng "foot spa-pedi"dito. For your kid, if he/she is used to certain vitamins from there bring it along too (ziploc bag it). By the way Sept is still cool, Januray is dead of summer

sa construction ang linya ni hubby pero ewan ko lang kung maraming jobs for that industry there. sana lang, makatisod sya ng swerte. hehe.

sis, kumusta naman ang mga paparlor service na eyebrow threading dyan? hehe. saka possible ba dyang makahanap ng mga freebie yoga lessons sa park, for example? naku, isa sa worry ko yan kasi yoga helped my scoliosis talaga kaya hoping ako na magtuloy-tuloy. uma-attend ako ng yoga class right now, pero yung freebie lang sa park.

^as in which side of construction sis? hubby ko nasa construction din pero para sa oil and gas sa Barrow Island (NW Perth).

paparlor I wouldnt recommend it.I find it ridiculous here, mahal lang for nothing.Pero if you still wanna do it here, find a salon na hindi puti ang naggugupit/style  Asians na lang-sa Northbridge meron Thai yata and mga Taiwanese chinese. Threading meron dito, Zubias ang name.Buy ka ng package nila parang 85 aud yata for 10 sessions,sulit na rin.Sa city lang alam ko saan meron Zubias (at least 3 salons nila andito sa city center ng Perth), kung sa labas ng city I'm not sure. There are groups that do exercises sa park akong nakita, hindi nga lang yoga,those have club memberships here ( as far as I know).

Kung pasyalan lang, at nature trippers kayo, hindi kayo mauubusan-Kings Park,Broome,Penguin Island, Rottnest Island.Not to mention the beaches,kung below 5 ang anak mo he/she will enjoy Trigg beach/ Sorrento Quay (Hillary's Boat Harbour).Wag nyo lang itaon na winter, unless sa AQWA ang punta nyo which is indoors kaya okay lang.

For those who have tried applying for an AU VISA that's DIY, how much did you have to pay in all?
How did you know which VISA to apply? How long ang application process?

My husband and I just got married and are planning to migrate to Australia. We're currently researching
for the most cost efficient way.
