^Nasa skilled migrant list ba profession mo sis? Kung andun naman and you have enough experience, why not>

^^kilangan mo talaga sis pagtiyagaan yung research. kami ni hubby it took us months bago kami nagdecide to go via the state sponsorship. ng una kasi, ng hindi pa EOI, telco engineer ang path n kinuha namin tapos independent visa ang kukunin namin. kaya [textspeak!] ng magkaroon n ng eoi at based on points n yung pag invite we took the state sponsorship route since once ma-approve k ng state, visa invitation n agad yun.

so, kailangan mo talaga magbasa ng basa muna. baka naman kasi n meron applicable n occupation yung experience and course niyo mas maganda yun. hindi ko rin aksi alam yung rules s student visa so baka may mga new rules n rin na iniimplement.

At least kasi kung qualified sa skilled migrant, direcho nyo na mapa-practice profession ninyo. At you will go there as immigrant, unlike pag student visa.

My husband is going for the Independent Visa so there will be no restriction. It will take longer (6 months longer - actually, parang 3 months longer lang kasi state-sponsored is 6 months sa DIAC and 3 months or so sa state,) but it will give us the freedom to choose where we want to settle down.

Maganda via skilled migrant route. Less gastos lalo na if DIY and pr na agad pag dating sa oz. A friend processed and completed everything in 6 months time. Nasa Adelaide na sila ng hubs nya ngayon and sa awa ng Diyos may trabaho na silang dalawa. Yung work ni friend yun talaga ang profession niya while here in pinas. Ahead lang sya sa amin ng 3 months sa pagpaprocess. She keeps on bugging me to continue with our app. On hold pa kasi plans namin for oz kasi i got pregnant and hubs need to take an oral exam in oz pa bago kami makapag apply for eoi. Sana kayanin pa ng finances namin next year kahit na may baby na.

^No sis. Each state has an immigration department, and your occupation must be in their list of priority occupation. That's the requirement for you to apply. This list changes every few months.

^korek si sis antigone. You have to check din regularly yung list kasi may quota din per occupation. Everything is in diac sis princess_chill. Then if you want to check each state, may sariling websites din sila for skilled workers. Hanapin mo lang dun if nasa list yung occupation nyo ni hubs mo and if it's in there, go na with the skill assessment and ielts.

ive been reading but can't seem to find the section for state sponsorship meron lang iyong GSM and according to the site pag GSM ka you can work anytime right? as compare to the sponsored by state?

i'll try my luck na maka aply ng work visa 1st then if not i'll try to enter as a student nalang haiz sana naman makahanap work...hirap kasi dito pinas kahit anong kayod mo parang walang asenso

Meron pala nito...joining, new to the thread  From Perth WA po ako.kaka 1-year lang naming last Nov 2012. Anybody know a parcel service to the Philippines? Parang wala akong nakikita or na-google. We're here on a 457 Visa (me,hubs,baby) and planning to file for PR after we hit the 2 years stay.Tagal naman...anybody has done this, from a 457 to PR? Kindly share your experiences! Thanks
