Question lang po about eyelash curlers. :(

^In my experience depende din sa eye shape.

Wala pa kong sariling set of makeup until now hindi ko alam pano magsisiimula.

^ I would suggest unahin mo muna skincare before makeup. :) This is probably what I did wrong when I was still starting out haha. Minimal products ang needed when you have excellent skin.

Matrabaho talaga siya sis but once you get accustomed to it, hindi ka na mahihirapan  :)

Same sentiments sis. I'm investing more sa skincare kasi I wanna achieve really good skin so that I don't have to wear makeup anymore on regular days  :)

Correct, have a sensible skincare routine muna and invest in good quality skincare products fitting your skin's conditions, then you can slowly build up your makeup. :) Cleanse - double cleanse (if you use makeup or SPF) - tone/ acid tone - serum - moisturizer -- that's the basic routine. Of course, don't forget sunblock too!

Makeup can be used to enhance our features, pero siyempre much better if we have a smooth canvas. But for me, I use makeup because it's so much fun! I thoroughly enjoy the process. Same enjoyment I get from investing in skincare and doing my "pahid pahid ng kung anik anik" morning and night hehe.

And once you've decided to build on your makeup, I suggest you start with your base (primer + foundie/ tinted moisturizer etc) + brows + a little bit of blush + a basic lipstick that makes your features pop out. Brows are very important ha. :) Then you can venture into contouring, eyeliners, eyeshadows, mascara, and all the other fun stuff hihi. :)

How do you shop for foundation? I mean make-up gurus from States recommend bringing your own mini jars and taking samples and taking them home to try under natural light to see if it oxidizes etc.

But is that possible in Philippines? Are there specific brands who are generous in giving free samples?

^ walang free samples pero i try sa testers talaga mismo. para makita ko din yung tamang shade para sakin then ikot ikot  muna sa mall to see kung okay ba sya sa mukha ko or hindi.

Hello sisses na makeup experts..please recommend a makeup palette na hindi mabilis mabura sa presyong abot-kaya (P500 and below) ..nichido kasi yun natry ko.di ko sya gusto kasi mabilis mabura...ginamit ko kasi sa anak ko for her moving up photos nakailang retouch kami bago pa sya mapicturan e laging nabubura ang eye shadow..😊

^ i use shawil cream eyeshadow, ok naman sya. make sure lang to prime your eyes para sure na kakapit yung colors at wag mahiyang kapalan. i dont have any branded eyeshadow palette. h&m, shawil, loreal, in2it, meron pang isa pero drugstore lang din di ko na maalala... yun lang yung mga eyeshadows ko pero they last the whole day naman. yun din nga ginagamit ko pag nagpapamakeup sakin mga sisters ko and sakin din pag may event. minsan kasi its not the brand, its the way you prep & apply it on your face. if oily yung lids, need ng primer para magstay yung color.

^^ sis meron face primer then meron din eye primer, may lip primer nga din e.
Makeup primer is a base for smoother application and may claims na it can help your makeup to  last longer. You can try sis.
Ako kasi use ko for face primer is for smoother application ng foundation at para kumapit talaga, may pagkadry kasi skin ko, pag walang primer parang ang hirap i-aaply ng foundation. it acts as barrier na din between my face at sa kung ano2x nilagagay ko.
I rely on setting spray para maglast makeup ko.
