Patent naman yung both fallopian tube ko sis. Nagtataka nga yung OB bakit daw ako niresetahan ng visanne wala din naman daw nakikita sa ultrasound na may endometriosis ako (or baka nagamot na ng visanne kaya wala ng nakita ). Binigyan palang ako ng OB ko ng Ovamit at try daw muna namin. Sana mag work..

Mabuti ok naman both tube mo sis,siguro dun nalang ako kay doctora aguilar magpa hsg.pwede naman direct na magpa schedule diba kahit hindi nya pa ako patient? Sana lang din yung 10k all-in na kasama hospitalbill

Just had mine under doc jing at slmc qc. No pain kahit walang anes or kahit pain relivers man lang. Thank God, both tubes are patent! :-)

Hello guys! this is to update s mga gustong malaman tungkol sa HSG test. i had may HSG test today dec 18,2018 sa manila med. TTC for 2years na.
Nabasa ko dto s thread n masakit ang procedure and yong iba naman sab prang cramps lang. ang advice ni doctora mag HSG ako para makita kung may blockage ba yong fallopian tube ko,(gumamit n dn po ako ng clomid for 2 mos para mag ovulate,kaso d pa dn po napreggy)
qoute ni doctora skn 5000 w/o anesthesia and with anesthesia naman 8000.(un po yong PF n ob and ni anesthesiologist).Since sobra baba ng pain tolerance ko and mag isa lang kc ako ng pumunta sa hosptal dahl ofw ang husband ko,sinabi k sa doctora k n lagyan ako ng anesthesia and im glad na tama yong decision ko.

nong nasa room kmi kng saan gagawin yong HSG test, sakto may kasabay ako na mag ppreform ng procedure,pinauna muna yong isang patient kc wala siyang anesthesia.habang nandon kami sa loob nakikita ko si patient kung pano ginagawa yong procedure and xray.nakikita k na prang uncomfortable sya habang inject yong dye and sobra daw sakit.pero mabilis lang siyang natapos 5min lang tpos n agad siya.pero rmdam k yong pain nia.anyway nong ako na asa table, nag IV lang si anesthesiologist tas sab nia mag start n daw si doc linisin tong vaginal area and mag iinject na siya ng anesthesia. tpos noon wala na akong maalala kasi nakatlog na ako. after 5min nagising na ako medyo lutang pa ako kaya hnd ko naiintndhan yong sinsabi ng doctor skn. after 5min pinapahinga nila ako and im glad pinapunta ako n doc sa clinic niya para explain na ok yong both fallopian tube ko. sa january day 2 of period mag start n ako ng fertility pills and d12 ng cycle k babalik ako sknya pra mag transv para macheck kng nag ccoordinate ba yong gamot skn,. i was diagnose dn with pcos kaht normal and regular naman ang meanstruation k, no signs of pcos ako.weird hehe. d k n kc na ask dahl parang lutang pa ako knina. by january ask k si doc kung bakit ganon na may pcos ako.hehe

anyway para may idea po kau
philhealth covered 9600
plus nag bayad pa po ako ng almost 2500 para sa gamot n gnamit
lahat po n nagstos k for HSG s manila med 10,500

note: ok lang po n mag isa kau kahit with anesthesia pa siya (wag lang mag ddrive)  kasi keri lang naman mag lakad pauwi. after 5mins nawala n yong gamot s ktwan ko.nakapunta n ako sa 7th floor,6th floor and 2nd floor para asikasohin mga bill.nakapag mall pa nga ako after ng HSG with anesthesia. kung worry kayo sino mag hahawak ng pera niyo or san iiwan gamit niyo dahl baka mawala.sa manila med kc may locker sila na pwede mo iwan mga importan things niyo.may admitting room dn sila kng saan k pwede mag pahinga kng di mo pa kaya umuwi at doon mag rest, covered din kasi ng philhealth yon. you  can leave your clothes sa room kc may sarli kang bed:). Hope makatlong s mga mag HSG po

i just had my hsg (w/o anesth) done today at SLMC QC. nung una halos wala ako naramdaman e pero kung kailan patapos na yung procedure saka ko naramdaman yung sakit. alam nyo yung feeling na may dysmenorrhea tas sumasabay yung hilab yung tyan? napahawak na lang ako sa gilid ng bed hehe. buti na lang all the doctors and staff are nice. they did their best to make me feel comfortable the whole time. 5k lang binayaran namin for doctor?s pf. yung buong hospital bill which is around 9k covered ng philhealth.

Hi everyone, sharing my experience to update this thread and maybe somebody's still here sa FN.

I'm 31 yo and TTC for a year and a half. I had my HSG under Dr. Mae Syki Young at MakatiMed. It was painful. Nagulat ako kasi there were so many nurses inside the room. First time ko to see that kind of x-ray machine, and humiga sa may ganong kind ng ilaw! Feeling ko nanganak ako. Hahaha!

Anyway my OB had a hard time and took a long time putting the dye inside, kasi super narrow daw ng cervix. But eventually she did and patent both fallopian tube! She said maybe dahil narrow ang cervix kaya hindi makapasok ang sperm she recommended IUI kasi i'm producing good eggs naman daw.

Praying na still, makabuo kami ni husband naturally. <3

BTW, i paid around 11k sa Makati Med for the procedure and 15k as PF. I tried to use my Philhealth pero my OB's assistant said hindi daw pwede. I wonder why.

Sis @Anarchy01 i also need to undergo HSG. Not neccesarily for workup. i miscarried 2 years ago and on my tvs after, there is a hydrosalpinx on the left fallopian tube. My OB at Makati Med is Dr. Margaret Joyce Cristi-Limson. Parang di 11k ang quote nya sa procedure, 4k lang ata sabi nya. Her PF is 10k. I was able to get my HMO cover the procedure i am just saving up for the PF.

You may call Radiology sa hotline nila if you want to be sure, I did that. Hehe

Hi sis, i need to undergo HSG also since there is a blocking on my right fallopian tube.
What HMO you using po? Im using medicard. What i know if related with pregnancy they wont cover right? Like beta HCG.
And btw, what is PF ? Thanks
