This September lang nagpaHSSG ako on my CD9. Pinainom ako ng mefenamic acid and buscopan 30 mins before ng procedure. The sonologist told me na makakaexperience ako ng feeling ng heavy dysmenorrhea kapag pumasok na ang saline. Wala akong naramdaman sa start ng procedure until nung nagpump na ng saline para makita kung blocked ba yung tubes ko. Thank God, hindi naman sa blocked.

After ng procedure may konting pain pa rin and spotting then nawala na kinabukasan.

Sa Marikina Ob-gyne ako nagpagawa, 3k yung price niya.

Hi! Hindi ko pa natry ang HSG pero from what I've read sa pages nitong thread, mas maganda ang HSG.

mabuti yung OB ko sa St. Lukes hndi na nagpabayad ng PF nung I-HSG niya ako. 5k plus yung procedure pero wala me binayaran dahil covered ng maxicare ko ang procedure.

Sis, pano malalaman kung covered yung HSG procedure? and sino pala OB mo sa St. Lukes?

Just sharing my experience with HSG, dye won't go through when I had the procedure. Doctor thought my tubes are blocked.  Turned out when I had a laparoscopy (to remove a cyst), they also checked mas tubes  okay naman.  So whatever the reason why the dye won't go through they di rin alam ng RE ko.  So di pa rin 100% ang accuracy ng procedure na to kaya wag mawalan ng pag-asa if na sinabing blocked ang tubes. 
With God's grace, I am now 14 weeks pregnant after 3 years of trying and doing all the work ups and procedures possible.

@onlytechgirl  Hi Sis, last procedure ko actually was laparoscopy, diagnostic and surgery to get the cyst.  That was May last year.  Then rest lang, I started meds (letrozole) in December, got pregnant in July   I believe less stress and lot's of prayers is the key.

Went to my fertility doctor eto din ang kailangan kong gawin Histerosalpingografia test, kinakabahan ako mahina pa naman ang pain tolerance ko. Binigyan  ako ng  Ciprofloxacino 2 capsules isa sa gabi at  sa breakfast before ng test. Kaso Plan ko na lang gawin next year after my vacation. Prepare ko muna sarili ko. Reading experiences here medyo napapa isip ako dahil may iba masakit yong iba ok naman ang experienced. May naka attach sa papel na binigay sa akin na pipirmahan ko before the exploracion. So lalong medyo kinabahan ako. Niresetahan din ako ng FertistimPlus.

Meron ba dito nakapagpagawa ng HSG procedure sa Philippine General Hospital ? How much it cost ? And sino po un Doctor ? Hows the procedure.? Hindi ko kasi afford ang 16k ng Ob ko .. Thank you

hi! medyo matagal na last reply sa thread pero hopefully may makatulong.
After 4 months on Clomid and still no luck my OB told me to take an HSG test.
Yung first transv ultrasound ko ok naman, ovulating and regular din ang period ko.
So baka daw may block ang tubes kaya magpa HSG na daw ako.
Sabi niya pagawa ko ng day 7 ko, medyo nalililto lang ako kung alin day 7 ko.
March 1 kase ng around 9pm ako dinatnan, considered day 1 na ba yun?
March 7 or 8 ba ako magpapagawa? Thank you

^hi sis! Years ago na yung hsg ko, last 2007 pa ata, dr. Ko nag sched ng hsg ko kaya hindi ko tanda if anong day ko ba yun pero about your question, yup your 1st day of menstruation is considered to be day 1 kaya day 7 mo ang march 7 pero ok [textspeak!] din naman siguro if 8 ka magpa hsg since gabi naman ng march 1 ka nagkaron

Had my hssg sa kato last march 2 which is my cd10. Actually I went on my cd8 pero may unting spotting pa so my hssg was cancelled. Bawal daw kasi sabi ni doc kahit may konting blood lang. I took buscopan & other pain reliever 1 1/2 hrsprior to hssg procedure. Wala naman aki nafeel na pain. & thank God my tubes are both ok.

thanks sis @jajamom, I actually went last March 8..
thank God ok naman, patent both tubes ko! Yay!
but it was excruciatingly painful talaga! I never had dysmenorrhea that bad.
Nag-take naman ako ng pain reliever and buscopan,
and to think matiisin din naman ako sa pain.
HSSG ang ginawa sakin kase may mild allergy ako sa shrimp.

Sabi ni dra, preparation din daw yun
kase pag napreggy ako ganun din daw kasakit! oh em!
BTW my HSSG cost me 2,500 only, OB- Sonologist ang gumawa
baka dahil nasa province din kase ako.

Tomorrow is my CD11 I am scheduled naman for follicle monitoring.

^congrats for a positive result (patent tubes) sis heykath...big help yan to even open them if you're TTC...isa yan sa ginawa kong preparation noon nung nag decide si hubby (fiance pa lang that time) na ready na siya to have a baby with me

Hello girls:) im a newbie here. & i find  this forum very helpful. Share ko [textspeak!] experience ko po.
Im 29 yrs old & TTC For about 1 1/2yrs alrdy & no success.
I tried clomid for 3 cycles pero unsuccessful.
 
I got my hsg yesterday only, i saw in other forums that masakit nga dw ang hsg esp when the dye has been inserted na. But in my case, no pain. Uncomfortable [textspeak!] pag pinapasok n [textspeak!] instruments. But over all no pain promise.. i was looking at the monitor hindi agad nag fill in [textspeak!] tubes ko so my doctor had to use i think more fluids to insert. Then ayun nag fill in na. But on my right tube hindi ko makita msyado sa xray if it fills or not. Well, i havent get my results yet. The doctor dont even tell me if normal or not. I just need to wait for the results.
pls help me girls pray na everything is fine and normal. Ty
