Question lang mga sisses, i availed of a round trip mla-hk na flight for sept. Nabago sched ng alis ko so i bought again a one way ticket for mla-hk instead of rebooking the first one mas mahal kasi aabutin kapag rebooking. So im holding 2 itineraries, isang one way lang and yung isa round trip.  Pagpunta yung one way gagamitin ko, pabalik yung original na return ticket pa rin gagamitin ko.

Masisilip ba ng cebu pacific yun pag uwi ko from hk? makikita ba nila na hindi ko nagamit yung isang mla to hk na flight? baka kasi singilin ako ng cancellation fee bigla sa counter. mag no no show na lang kasi ako sa unused flight instead of cancellation sayang kasi yung bayad.

Hindi rin ba ko masisita sa hk immigration or even sa phil immigration? baka hingan ako ng tickets makita na dalawa yung scheduled flight ko papunta.

any one experienced this? salamat po sa sasagot

^i thought so sis. nagmock book ako and i noticeD na wala naman syang asterisk, meaning hindi sya required field. pero hindi nga rin me sure haha. problema kasi plan namin isama lolo ko who's 82 years old eh kukuhanan pa lang namin ng passport

Hi guys share ko lang something good about cebu pac. My flight got cancelled kasi due to weather condition, and i opted for a refund instead of rebooking or travel fund. The person I talked to at the airport claimed that i'll be receiving the refund in at least 4-6 weeks, but was so happy to find out that I was refunded in around 3 weeks' time. Not bad at all

kasama na po ba ang terminal fee papunta pag domestic travel lang?

Yes sis kasama na, pero coming back to manila hindi pa kasama. (at least for cebu pac)

Yung helper namin, her travel date was jan 1, 2013 going to bacolod. I bought it mga october
last year pa. She did not pay her terminal fee sa naia 3. Pero sa Bacolod going to Manila
she paid 200 daw.

^^For domestic tickets issued AFTER August 1, 2012, the Php200 terminal fee is already included in the tickets but only for departures from Manila. Any tickets issued before August 1, 2012 will still have to pay the terminal fee.

So, for example your ticket issued after August 1, 2012 with routing Manila-Tagbilaran-Manila:

MNL-TAG no need to pay the terminal fee (included in tickets issued after Aug 1, 2012)
TAG-MNL still need to pay the Php20 terminal fee

Then susunod na ang Cebu. All tickets issued from March 1, 2013 onwards will also have the Php200 Cebu terminal fee included in the tickets.

So, a ticket issued on March 1, 2013 onwards with the following routing Manila-Cebu-Manila:

MNL-CEB no need to pay the terminal fee (included in ticket)
CEB-MNL no need to pay the terminal fee (included in ticket)


The ruling is good for all domestic air carriers.

I'll share lang our dilemma with cebu pac

my friends and I booked our ticket to jakarta for august 14. It was a promo fare. Then few weeks ago, my friend (the credit card holder), received an email that our flight was changed to August 5 thru online and we need to pay a certain fee. None of us rebooked the flight!

We talked with cebu pac customer relations officers about it, we said that we didn't changed our flight. We asked what will happen to our paid august 14 flight. They said na wala na daw yung august 14 flight kasi na-cancel daw and we need to pay daw the rebooking fee.  They refused to give us the August 14 flight. sayang lang binayad namin.


I don't know if it happened to anyone too. I'm more like nalulungkot than naiinis to cebu pac. Kasi they did this to us.

^sis pag ganyang case dapat ang mga binigay na options sa inyo e :

1. free one-time rebooking to your preferred date (i think +/-30days from original booking date yan) or accept yun proposed rebook date option nila w/c is Aug5.
2. full refund credited back to the credit card used
3. full refund credited to travel fund -- pero kadalasan either 1 or 2 lang.

kasi di naman kayo yun nag change ng schedule kundi sila mismo e so di kayo dapat sinisingil ng kung ano anong charges. kumbaga, sila itong nag auto rebook nung cancelled flight nyo. ngayon kung sakaling inaccept nyo yun Aug 5 na yun tapos saka nyo naisip na ibang date gusto nyo, yan yun sisingilin na talaga kayo ng rebooking fee. pero as long as di nyo pa inaaccept yun "proposed" date nila, then may say pa kayo kung kelan nyo irerebook (for free).

@merchee, tama si sis lakwatsa, those are the exact three options that should have been given to you.

na-experience ko na sa Cebu Pac yan, Mla-Jakarta flight. bayad ko na yung flight. then i received a text saying that the flight was cancelled. tinawagan ko sila and binigyan nila ako nung choices na yun. i chose the free re-booking of one day earlier, so biglang napa-book ako ng additional 1 night hotel accommodation.

they wronged you so much! YOU DON'T HAVE TO PAY ANYTHING BECAUSE IT WAS THEIR FAULT. sis, wag kayo mag-back down!! i mean, wag ninyong i-tolerate na ganyan ganyan lang i-trato ng Cebu Pac ang customers nila. it was not your fault, it was THEM who cancelled the flight. tell your friend (credit card holder) to call them and let them know that you know what you're talking about. demand those three options and say that you don't have to pay anything because it was their fault. balitaan mo kami pagkatapos. yang Cebu Pacific na yan... tsk tsk tsk... sila na nga may kasalanan.

(but yes, yung option is one-time free rebooking ha. just make sure that your friend did not accept a re-booked flight, tapos biglang she changed her mind na nagpapa-rebook na naman. yung sa akin, i accepted the free one-time re-booking option. basta once you confirm the re-booked flight, you can't change it, otherwise may babayaran ka nga.)

sis it happened na din sa kin na na-cancel yung flight sa zest-air, cebu pac at airphil. sa cebupac at airphil pinarebook namin.
sa zestair full refund na lang kaso 30 banking days T_T.

until now, pinaglalaban pa rin namin yung side namin. sobrang hassle talaga sila. they haven't given us any options at all. they want us to pay the rebooked flight.

^sis, sabihin ninyo sa Cebu Pac that you know what options you should be given. tapos i-enumerate mo yung tatlong options na sinabi namin. sabihin ninyo that you know people who have been in the same circumstance as yours and yun yung in-offer na options. dapat strong ang personality ninyo at wag magpa-dikta sa kanila.

grabe kung ako yan, lagot talaga sila sa akin. i'll tell them: "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? i PAID for the flight. you CANCELED the flight. then you're telling me that i have to pay for a re-booked flight??!?! i know what my rights are. it was YOUR fault, NOT MINE. you are obliged to give me the Indonesia flights that i PAID FOR. and if you don't, i'm going to report you to the authorities."

ayoko talaga i-tolerate yung mga ganyan. pati yung mga airlines na nag-ooverbook ng flight. naku!! kaya nga na-suheto na yang Cebu Pac dati dahil sa pag-overbook nila ng flights nila eh. kaya you can threaten them that you'll report eh. at pag di pa rin sila natinag, i-report mo talaga. para matuto sila.

^^Hindi kayo dapat pababayarin ng rebooking. SOP na yan na when the airline is at fault the passenger is given the option to either rebook (one time only) or refund. In 5J's case kung promo yung tickets nyo, since it's not refundable, they will put it in a travel fund.

Check mo first with your friend baka naman pumayag sya ng rebooking then changed her mind later on. Pag ganyan ang scenario, talagang bayad na for the next rebooking.
