Well hindi kasi ako politiko kaya d ko na need kamayan mga tao bago ako mag-abot ng tulong, equivalent siguro sa forum e ipost lahat ng tulong na ibinibigay namin simula pa lang nun bagyo/baha sa zambales. Parang dating pambayad yun tulong ko para makabatikos? Hindi naman.

Sa akin lang, may oras ang pagpapapogi at definitely hindi ngayon yun.

This disaster has just highlighted how incompetent this president is.  I get the notion that aside from relief efforts, a good part of his team is also pre-occupied with defending him and clearing his image.  This, I really find so petty.  At a time like this where every minute counts for the survival of people, already on the edge, being preoccupied with one's image is just so selfish.  Kung ginawa mo na lang ng maayos ang trabaho mo, di tapos, wala nang damage control for your communications group. 

That's why in the next elections everyone should be reminded, especially the simple people, that they should not just vote for the most popular, or for those who can give them instant dole outs. 

This will not be the last major disaster in this country, as we all know, and when disaster strikes the most vulnerable are those who have no means.  They will be the ones who will wholly rely on help from the government.  Therefore, it is in their interest to vote for someone who is not  a trapo but someone who can mobilize people and act quickly to get help to the most helpless even without any cameras.  During this disaster, ang nakita ko lang na ganyan sina Duterte and Dick Gordon.  I do admire Mayor Duterte's resolve to bring the relief goods to the affected areas.  Shoot looters (on the feet) if they delay the convoy...  That's the kind of leader that this country needs.

The sad thing is , kahit gaano natin kagustong ma-wipe out ang mga trapo sa gobyerno, the masses and uneducated in remote areas of the country seemed unaware, thus will continue to vote them. And these masses compose a large portion of the voting population. I'm thinking tuloy how to influence others/change their line of thinking about politicians etc. I came from the province, remote province I may say. And my kababayans there vote kung sino ang sikat. Erap always won in our area. Nakakainis pero ganun talaga, if only I could do something effective to enlighten others. Frustrating.

Just because slow response is normal doesn't mean it's acceptable. Ang gobyernong ito, dahil napaka-resilient ng mga Pilipino, hindi kumikilos hangga't walang nagagalit at umaalma. Hindi ba't bumilis ang relief operations nang lumabas ang report ni Anderson Cooper? Another example, hindi ba't nang mag-million people march ang mga tao, saka lang nila sinimulan yang pork barrel investigation?

^^sis may link ka sa buong interview? Napanuod ko lang yung part na tinanong siya ni amanpour kung ano yung immediate plan 'right now' (something to that effect). Tapos sagot ni pnoy yung pag restore daw ng mga nasirang bahay ang biggest challenge.

^^sis wag ka mairita sa akin, pero sa ganyan lang magaling yata si duterte. Dahil ang davao wala rin naman yata makitang devt para sa mga ordinaryong tao. Lubak sa daanan nun una ako nagpunta 1997 e 2013 ganun pa rin. Marami rin mahirap na wala mapagkakitaan ang maayo lang e d maaarte ang mahihirap sa davao.  Mababait kasi davaoeno d mahilig magreklamo.


Anyway, kilos-kilos na lang rin para makatulong tayo kahit nakakadismaya mga politiko na papogi.

Now i'm just waiting for the next Edsa revolution that will kick him out of the office for good. I'm sure the Filipino nation will not just tolerate this and turn a blind eye. Something should happen that is pro-Filipinos. But maybe that will happen some time later, once stabilized na ang visayan region.

Idk if he is just not aware or he is just really allowing it but he could've save some of his image by removing the tax on foreign relief goods. A lot of people are so ashamed of that.

He said something like "kay pres.noynoy, sabi mo sa speech mo dito (kahapon) mabilis na dumadating ang mga tulong, pero hanggang ngayon nandito pa din kami sa loob... NAPAKASINUNGALING MO!"

Then, i heard sa dzrh kanina, sa isang bgy. ata sa ormoc, hindi daw binibigay agad yung tulong, tinitignan pa daw kung nasa voter's list. Sa ibang lugar naman, when asked kung kumusta na sila, as usual wala pa din tulong...yung ano daw yung meron sila puro bigay ng mga foreigners... The radio announcer was so frustrated gusto na nyang magmura, but instead he plead to the govt. na imulat ang mata at kaisipan sa totoong kalagayan ng mga tao dun.

I also saw it last night sis and talagang bumilib ako sa guts ng taong yun..naawa ako dun sa news na yung iba e namumulot nlang ng basura. may isa pa doon na kinakalawang na yung lata ng sardinas iuuwi parin niya sa bahay kasi gutom na gutom na daw pamilya niya..and nashock ako kasi nasa TAcloban lang naman yun, what more pa kaya sa ibang lugar na wala pang relief goods na dumadating..
