^first of all, the reason why we are experiencing those financial and economic growth is because of GMA's policies. SO definitely he is just reaping the fruits of her labor.

For me, parang sabog-sabog yung content ng SONA. It was a bunch of little things mentioned to project a good image (for instance, why was there a need to feature that police officer na nasaksak ng holdaper--to improve the image of the police force? It's nice that that officer was doing her job, but that does not necessarily represent the entire group). Very micro ang approach kasi kulang na kulang sa major accomplishments (sa infrastracture, 1 bridge lang?). At yung sermon bit nya sa ibang agencies, dapat ba talagang ginagawa sa SONA yan (I think style nya yun, na ipakitang sinasabon nya yung mga officials, panghugas-kamay na, ayan ha, ginagawa ko ang trabaho ko, pero matigas talaga ang ulo nila e, sila ang may kasalanan nyan hindi ako). And as expected, he ended it with 'SONA nyo 'to', implying na kung anong meron tayo ngayon ay dahil sa mga mamamayang Pilipino. I think it was a show of incompetence and weakness as a leader, hugas-kamay.

for me... i think the sona is comprehensive

maraming sectors ang nabanggit, may papuri, may pagpuna
maganda ang mga case studies, hindi OA
melodramatic ang attack, pero if it will touch more telenovela inclined Filipinos, then its ok

i think that the leadership is in the right path
support na lang ng LGU's and ng private sectors ang kukumpleto

i'm hopeful for our country's future

^The SONA, I agree, was too melodramatic (too many buzz phrases--'bawal ang wang-wang', 'lalatiguhin ko kayo!). It plays on people's perception and feelings. Sino bang Pilipino ang hindi gustong maging mas mabuti ang bansa? Bakit nga ba hindi ko gusto ang current leadership? Dahil puro palabas. There is blantant disregard for fairness, justice, and objectiveness. Kung tunay na matuwid ang daan, bakit yung malalapit sa kanya ay hindi naiimbestigahan (starting with his sister)?!  Tama, papuri at pagpuna. Sounds balanced. Pero sinu-sino ang napuri at sinu-sino ang napuna? Ipinagmamalaki nya ang savings ng ibang agencies, pero yung kanyang sariling (mis)Communications group, nagsasayang ng pera. Hay, I could go on and on about the double standards of this leadership.

couldn't agree more, I am not entirely satisfied with the administration (i am actually a govt employee.. PNoy and his tuwid na daan had caused perpetually disruption to our mandated benefits).

nakakainis lang ang kanyang SONA...and nakakairita na kelangan nyang iadjust ang kanyang glasses from time to time, at ubo na parang may sabit na plema..yucjk!

pasensya na, i wont go on discussing the merits of his SONA, for well, the lack of it..hehe

Didn't bother hearing his SONA. If there were improvements, I'd be able to see and feel it. It's not something he has to point out pa, or something that I have to research on(?) para lang mapansin diba.. If there were. And ayoko na rin marinig yang mga plans and promises nya. Kung may mangyayari edi meron. Pero ang hirap nang umasa. Kaya wag nalang.

^Kaya wala yung pork barrel ang daming matatamaan at pati na rin sya. Saan din ba nya dinala ang prok barrel nya nung congressman/senator sya. At nakakatawa pag sa side nya kahit ang daming palpak at nag resign na nga pipigilan pa.

out of the 2.3 trillion national budget for 2014 being passed right now, 27 billion is allotted for the pork barrel alone. I agree with drilon's suggestion to scrap the pork barrel so that the lawmakers could focus on passing bills and let the lead government agencies like dpwh do their work. patronizing ang dating ng pork barrel na yan. kung opposition ka or low class municipality ang sakop mo, ang baba ng pork barrel mo. but aquino obviously doesn't want to scrap it. there's power in patronizing di ba.

Agree..could you imagine kung pagsamasamahin ba naman ang pork barrel ng mga political dynasty na yan? million million or billions pa lalo kung presidente..i think kung wala ng pork barrel...wala ng patayan pag may election and wala ng tatakbong politician..hehe

3 years na siya nakaupo diba? parang wala naramdaman na pagbabago, parang mga continuation lang ng past admin. karamihan ng binangit sa SONA eh puro plano pa din.. ni hinde niya nga kaya sipain or sabihin directly yung mga taong pinapatamaan niya eh just my 2cents.

How can he abolish something that he is actually enjoying the benefits without being audited? Yang lahat ng nakaupo sa posisyon, never i-abolish yang PDAF. Asa pa tayo! Hayyyyyyy

Yang issue kay JLN, 10billion in 10years, maliit pa lang yan. Di nila sinisilip yung nakaupo sa Malacanang? Magkano pork barrel ni Pnoy per year? Bat di siya magsalita about JLN?
