Mestiza=Maganda???

hindi naman porket maputi maganda agad, nagagandahan din ako sa mga morena or kahit maitim, advantage nga lang ng maputi like me is pansinin masyado hayy naku chinay kasi ako kaya super puti ko lalo na pag naka short parang lahat nakatingin, ewan ko ba ang dame nga naiinggit at naiinis sa kulay ko, hindi ko naman kasalanan kung naging maputi ako. hehe

the answer is NO. why? because I think people generally want what they don't have.. here in england all the beauty stores have a whole aisle of Tanning products; sunbeds and spray tans are very popular, no one wants to be 'pale'.

But in asia its the total opposite, its beauty stores with a selection of whitening products.

and if mestiza= maganda that means black people, mixed or not is not considered 'beautiful' which is so not true!

pasali. nope. hindi lahat ng mestiza (mapa-mixed race man or just plain fair-skinned) maganda. i have a couple of guy friends who prefer girls who are confident and smart, and maybe a little cute. admittedly maraming guys rin na ang basis lang for chasing girls are their looks, but who'd want to be with such superficial boys diba?

of course, good looks is just a bonus. you dont really get to choose who you'd fall in love with. actually it's not even a requirement for me (though i'm not a guy), i care more about the attitude and him as a person.

Beauty is subjective which means open to interpretation, a question of opinion and judged differently by different people. to each his own. for the question Mestiza=Maganda???, i'd say NOT ALL THE TIME.

to be clear, first thing na naiisip ko about Mestiza are:
1. White freckled skin
2. Brown eyes
3. Pointed nose
4. Brown hair
5. Big boned

so basically i am describing Andi Eigenmann  who is very very pretty!

bakit pag mestiza maputi agad naiisip? at bakit napunta sa kulay ng balat [textspeak!] topic.. for me mestiza means your mixed - so you can be either dark skinned or fair.. i think the thread starter should clarify on her definition of mestiza.. and no mestiza does not equate agad to being pretty.. just like chinita girls and the morenas.. pwede me pangit, pwde maganda..

^yeah. Not really beautif or not really very pretty but you know she's something else. Not really what you'd call beautiful but she's something to look at. And it's not about the lumps and humps. It's the aura they have.

Kung skin color ang pinaguusapan dito, I think equal lang ang pagiging morena at maputi. Nagkakatalo lang sa evenness at kung gano ka-clear yung balat. It just so happen na mas associated lang ang pagiging maputi sa pagiging malinis kaya may ganung mentality yung iba. I'm sure anyone will choose a clear skinned morena kesa sa matigyawat na mestiza.
