Toothache during pregnancy: Any safe painkillers for pregnant women?

ako pala pinaka latest na my toothache..l up and down pa! and the pain! di ko kadescribe! sobrah sakit! nakatulog na ko then pag wee wee time na nagigising ako ayan na di na naman ako makatulog, ang reply naman ni ob sa akin is biogesic! wahhhhhhh pagpasok ng 25 week ko bigla na lang sumakit! naiinis ako! tagal la ng due date. ko!

^ ask your ob bout toothache drops kungnpwede ka. AlsoI found out na effective din against the swelling (and infection?) ang vitamin c. Nawala [textspeak!] sakit ng ipin ko noon after eating alot of fruits. Siguro because there's infection and swelling kaya masakit tapos nawawala pag kumakain ako ng madaming citrus fruits.

Huhhuhhu, i find myself in this forum.
Gusto ko gumamit ng toothache drop but ang problem is nkasealed
Yung tooth ko na masakit, naka crown kasi ng jacket.
Gusto ng dentist iroot canal pero bawal naman daw kasi mag undergo ng xray.
Last resort namin alisin ang crown pero di daw basta ibabalik yun unless we treat the tooth problem first,
Am so sad, 26weeks pa lang tummy ko told the dentist na dbale pangit at bunge muna kapag inalis crown kesa naman hirap ng feeling.

sis nakakalungkot naman yung sitwasyon natin na wala tayong magawa. so far  ok na ko. for extraction na talaga sya. so temp filling muna ginawa ng dentist ko then cleaning,  soft diet muna ako baka kasi masira.. konting tiis pa, 29 weeks na ko, then 2 months after ko manganak pwede na ko for extraction.

Medyo ok na ko sis, di ko pinatanggal crown, i just prayed so hard, gargle water with salt every 15 minutes, siguro nakatulong din ang pagsingit ko ng toothache drop at biogesic and its a miracle na nawala. I guess my dentist was right that it's just a traumatized tooth kasi baka may nakagat ako na matigas which is problem ng jacket crowned tooth. But when u are pregnant syempre doble emotion talaga tayo. As of now under observation ko pa sya, ingat ako sa pagkain pra di mapressure yung teeth na yun then kpag lumabas na c baby rinoa tska ko sya haharapin hehe ng buong tapang na kasi di naman ako takot sa dental probs hehe...

Usually the ideal time for dental treatment for the mommy to be is at the second trimester where the organs of the baby is almost complete and your tummy is not that big yet to cause discomfort.

Usually talaga paracetamol ang binibigay but di talaga siya ganun kalakas but it is safe sa mga buntis. But dont self medicate. Always ask your OB and dentist. =)

Yup, i read that the most crucial stage are the first trimester and last 2 months of pregnancy.

Regarding self medication, hindi po yan maiiwasan kasi only you could feel what makes you feel better, there are times l want to say "palibhasa my ob cannot feel the pain" lalo sa situation ko po, hindi nagrereply c ob kasi sa charity lang nman ako ngpapaprenatal so dedma sa text or call ko. As long as i dont take harmful meds, siguro safe naman ang external self meds hehe

I experienced the same thing a few days ago. For extraction na talaga yugn tooth ko but I completely forgot about it kasi hindi naman masakit. Then a few days ago, naggstart siya sumakit, every night yon for 3 nights. Super horrible na I would wake up in pain. I'm on my 33rd week so wala na puwede gawin except wait it out. What I do is I brush everytime sumasakit. Then I gargle with warm water with salt. Pag di parin nawala, I put cold compress. A different things works each time. Hang in there mommies!

update ko lang. sa kamalasan sa sobrang sarap ng turon ni nanay ko ayun nakagat ko un masakit kong ipen, di na naman maipinta muka ko sa sakit worst feeling kasi nito yung di ka matulog. and mainitin ulo mo, (ako pla) so temp filling na naman ako nun sat, pero lalong lumala. grabe ngilo na naramdaman ko.... naiiyak na ko, bumalik ako sa kanya para sabihin yung pinagdaanan ko ng 24 hours.. binigyan nya lang ako ng sensodyne.. hayzzzzz so wala na talaga paraan... 4 months pa wait ko para maextract ipen ko. huhuhu!!! 8months na ko halos 31 week na ko. then 2 mos after manganak pa pwede. sana magawan nila ng gamot ang buntis para sa pain reliever... hayzzz

Mura lang po tootache drop 15petot sa generic drugstore.
Gargle every 15 mins, works for me. O kaya pasakan mo ng seirogan 1pill grom chinese drugstore.

 sis sa toothache drop nangatog ako sa ngilo. ayaw na nya..  so sis sleep ako ng mataas talaga unan. parang nakaupo. then i use straw nalang pag umiinum... nakita ng tita ko post ko sa fb.. check daw nya if okay sa rootcanal. try ko dumalaw sa kanya medyo malayo kasi sa akin..

Kasi yung nana kya umakyat sa pisngi kasi pinipigilan ng pasta. Ask ako ng gamot sa kanya sa pain and antibiotic, ayaw nya talaga ako bigyan. Sa ob kona lang daw ako magtanong. Nagprescribe sakin yung ob ko ng augmentin 625mg tab, twice a day for 7 days and for the pain, magtake daw ako ng dolcet, 3x a day. Nakita kosareviews mga sis ok naman augmentin pero natakot ako uminom ng dolcet kaya biogesic na lang iniinom. Pero my kirot pa rin talaga. Im on my 32weeks na. Naiinis talaga ako at pinakialaman kopa ngipin ko ito tuloy napala ko. Super sakit talaga mga sis. Ano pa kaya pain reliever na pwede kasi parang antapang ng dolcet e.

Nung 7 months preggy ako ilang gabi ako di nakatulog, I wasn't allowed to have any treatment other than paracetamol and warm water with salt nawala din naman agad after three days

Naku, sobrang sakit ng ipin ko ngayon. Up and down pa sa right side. I'm on my 33weeks na pa naman. Haven't asked my ob Kung anong pwedeng itake kasi disoras na ng gabi kakahiya naman sya itext. toothbrushan ko na lang para mamanhid. Ang sakit talaga.

^nako sis naexp ko rin yan. For temporary relief buy ka colgate for sensitive nakalagay and listerine na violet. Gumana sya sakin and biogesic din. Dolcet kc di ko talaga ininom. Also sis natulog ako na nakacoldcompress sa cheeks na affected.

Thanks sis jasmine3689, ganun nga nag toothbrush ako twice sa part na masakit. The next day went to ob for check up and pinayagan naman Nya ko uminom ng Biogesic for toothache.

On my 5th month na. Pang 4th ka na baby to, and for the first time ngayon lang ako nagka-toothache! Sumasakit minsan para sa akin tolerable naman. I don't drink paracetamol or anything kahit na mejo masakit. Tinitiis ko lang
