Re Forever 21 (thread 3)

I don't know what is all the hype about this store noon, but when I went in, nagandahan naman ako but it is true most of the clothes seen sa tiangee, proven ko na yan. Nakabile lang ako ng bracelet for 250 but I made sure na after a month ko sya binile,,,para test Kung gusto ko sya talaga. Lol

^talaga? last weekend nasa Megamall ako, wala akong masyadong nagustuhan. Gusto ko tuloy visit ang Makati Branch.

Most of my officewear dito ko binibili sa Forever21 Korea. Okay naman. Pero inaabangan ko rin lang na Sale, not yung normal prices. like now, Buy 1 Take 1 sila.

i'm not that much of a fan of forever 21 until i saw the bogo from f21 korea. sale na nga bogo po!! got  10 pcs of blouses, 1 shirt and a dress all for less than 4k!! sobrang pigil na nga ako sa sarili ko because everytime i open the website may nagugustuhan ako..sana lang tama yung sizes otherwise pang christmas gifts ko na pag hindi kasya sa kin..he he he

didn't buy shoes though. i have wide feet kasi so mas gusto ko ma fit muna..thanks to TLC shop!

Same here. When F21 was newly opened in Megamall and Makati madalas ako makakita ng magagandang damit. Pero lately I noticed di ko na type yung mga styles ng damit at tama ka parang sa tiangge at Landmark makikita mo yung clothes. Sa accessories naman dati I bought fancy necklace to go with my outfit parang a few weeks lang nag-tarnish na agad eh medyo mahal pa bili ko around 300++ eh pag sa Divi baka nga 100++ lang.

Dati kasi madalas ako dumadaan sa stores nila to check new items and sales. Minsan gusto ko pa rin naman yung dresses and tops nila pero medyo absurd na yung price.

siguro mas sulit pag sale ka bumili sa forever 21. true, you will find similar items in landmark or even tiangges.  but like most of you, ewan ko ba kung bakit addicted pa rin ako sa forever 21.

just yesterday, i bought skirt, dress and swimwear in f21 megamall, 3-day sale e. sulit na yung bikini bottom na binili ko for just Php 99!

hay nako yung nabili kong maxi dress last week, nagtanggalan yung beads paglagay ko sa basin of water when I'm about to wash it. hindi ko pa nalalagyan ng detergent, hindi ko pa kinukusot, sabi ko bat ganun may brown bits of plastic yung tubig, kala ko pollens lang from our tree then when I checked the dress hala tanggalan ang threads, ayun isa-isa na palang natanggal yung beads. bakit ba ganito quality ng ibang clothes nila? yung iba naman okay pero yung iba sablay talaga

sale anf forever21 dito sa US. kaso ang hirap mamili online kase minsan yung small nila sobrang liit. eh usually naman small ako. minsan naman medium ako sa kanila. kaya dapat sa store talaga nabili.

^ yan din pansin ko sa pinas... yung sizes nila di consistent. Minsan may times na kasya ako sa XS or Small tapos may times naman na ang sikip ng Small nila or sobrang luwang.

kelan kaya malalaos ang sheer clothes? hindi ako makabili ng matino sa F21 dahil sa lintik na sheer na nauso na yan.

although yes madalas sa hindi, may mga clothes akong comparable na sa F21.. just recently i bought an aztec print top for P100 sa GH (di ko na tinawaran yun). aba aba aba meron sa F21, P815!

^it's a HIT or MISS talaga with Forever21 sis, with my recent purchase.. some tops may maliit na butas na after one wash.. I have other tops naman that has lasted me for 2 years or more.

Some items naman are very similar sa mga tops sa SM dept store at a lower price but I still like shopping at Forever21

@stylishmommy, yep I saw lots of stuff sa SM na hawig sa F21. Kahit sa Landmark.

Minsan kaya lang din gusto ko dumadaan sa store nila after office eh para mag check ng mga bago nilang labas na clothes and accessories na pwede ko bilhin sa ibang store. Pero pag super gusto ko talaga yung clothes nila bumibili naman ako. Lately lang talaga wala ako mapili masyado at medyo namamahalan din ako sa prices nila na simpleng tops eh umaabot ng 800++

^yes sis, Forever21 simple top na 800 - mahal na talaga yan sis, better off checking other branded tops na surely will last a long time

^ i agree. Even my husband discourages me from purchasing simple tops na around 800++ kasi nga parang not worth it to splurge. Dame rin nga branded tops from other stores na less than 800++. Isa pati na ayaw ko sa F21 eh pag bumili ka ng cocktail dress or dresses minsan may makakasalubong ka na kapareho mo. hehe

^^ andami na nila branches good kasi andami mo options para tingnan yung mga displays nila, bad lang eh kasi malaki yung chance na may makasalubong ka na kapareho.

true. tops na 800++ ang mahal talaga.  kahit nga sando lang na tig 200+ namamahalan na ko pero i like shopping pa rin at f21.  minsan window shop lang din to check kung ano latest styles nila.

Swerte ako sa Forever 21.  The trick is knowing what not to buy.   Personally, I avoid the following:

1.  Anything made of 100% polyester
2.  Anything with lace
4.  Anything with beads and sequins

The better buys at Forever 21 are their knit cardigans, their jeans and their plain tees.  They really last for several washes.
