i have not tried the cakes here (anlayo kasi sa amin baka paguwi ko hindi na mukhang cake) pero so far parang sila pinakamaraming choices sa na nakita ko online.

sana tikman mo muna if may slice na binebenta kung saan ka man bibili kasi iba-iba taste natin. bumili ka ng cake na gusto mo, so just in case ayaw ng mga kasama mo sa bahay edi pwede mo ubusin mag-isa!

^thanks! saktong-sakto nabanggit mo na may branch sa The Fort, may lakad ako dun bukas. i googled it, sa may tapat daw ng Sanctuario de San Antonio (yun pala ibig sabihin ng SSA, hehe). mag-taxi na lang ako from Sun Life Center, di ako familiar sa The Fort eh.

wait, quick question! sis stormy, kailangan ba pumasok nung taxi sa loob ng gate ng Forbes or as in along McKinley Road siya? as in along the road from Fort to Makati? as in sasabihin ko lang sa taxi driver na "sa tapat ng Sanctuario de San Antonio?"

@meimei, no need to enter the village. Along mckinley road lang tapat ng church. Yes ang choco campfire cake is choco cake with marshmallow icing filled with choco fudge and choco chips.

@meimei, along mckinley road lang may parking area kaya mapahinto mo naman ang taxi (wag lang maarte ang driver of course).

Nagsisisi ako na hindi pa Purple Oven binili namin na cake. We tried Aristocrat Bakershop, yung toffee choco cake ata nila yun. Sadly, hindi ako satisfied. Parang mamon yung cake for me; sobrang "airy" sya kasi chiffon. Mas gusto ko talaga sponge cake Makapal din icing pero buti di naman sobrang tamis. Ang ok lang sakin yung cashew and crushed toffee na toppings. Haaaay mali ata napili ko. Kainis Lesson learned, stick to tried & tested ones nalang.

Blackout cake - supposedly their best-seller; super chocolatey and sinful
Carrot cake - very rich in walnuts and cream cheese; one of the best carrot cakes I've eaten
Cappuccino cake - my favorite among the three; it's chocolate cake with coffee frosting; love love love it

wow, marose! thanks for the feedback.

i've entered their store in pasig once to have late lunch, but it was full so we decided against it. i didnt know that they also offer cakes... next time i'll try the carrot and the cappuccino.  i love carrot cakes. =)



eta: u8mypinkcookies, sad naman ako for you... i saw their store in morato. i was sitting in traffic and was tempted to go in. kaya lang since it was traffic nga, i didnt want naman the cake to melt kasi di ko naman alam how long i'd be stuck on the road.

^ i had high expectations pa naman coz masarap daw dun, but unfortunately it failed me. kasi with the kind of cake na nakuha ko, naisip ko sana nag-RR or Goldilocks nalang ako na chiffon din & cheaper pa. Pinagpipilian ko pa naman Chocolat or Purple Oven na.. last minute nagbago pa isip ko.

sis marose, question din pala.. chiffon ba or sponge cake yung cappuccino and blackout cake nila? mahilig pa naman ako sa choco and coffee flavors!

Oo kita ko nga sa net sis, san kaya banda sa ayala triangle yun and magkano kaya ang whole round cakes nila? parang nakaka curious yun blackout chocolate cake nila! hehe

sa ensogo may nakita ko na deal, ₱479 nalang yung 9-inch Dulcelin's Mango Torte (valued at P680)...
