^ why sis how old are you na ba? Dito sa office dami naming singles na girls, well very few lang talaga boys dito sa 50 girls may 10 boys then 7 dun beki. Feeling ko nasa all girls school ako haha. At feeling ko din may sumpa dito kasi once umaalis saka nagkaka love life lol.

Almost tired of waiting because the guy I like seems not ready to commit yet.

I dated a new guy and I didn't like him, so I won't give a second chance.

So this valentines day, I'm still single and still undecided if I'll join a singles night or just stay at home.

Basta ba ma-meet muna nila minimum criteria mo, no harm in meeting new guys. Lalo pa na kelangan mo aliwin sarili mo since the guy you like doesn't seem to have the same feelings for you.

Tsaka I would suggest to give it 2-3 dates with the guy you initially don't like, baka later magustuhan mo sya.

Kaya goooo na sa single's night! What do you have to lose?

Baliktan naman thinking ko when i was single. Back then i almost always want to go to events alone. If wala, i make my own lakad mag isa, i felt more open to the world pag hindi ako nakatengga lang sa isang circle of people.

Siguro in a way i felt na less intimidating ako pag magisa lang ako. Even now na may partner ako i still go out alone sometimes.

I agree with sis Girltalker2. Give it 2 or 3 dates at least to really assess your thoughts on the person. First impressions never last, tsaka hindi naman kelangan in love kagad while dating eh. Get to know the person better, eventually maassess mo naman yan kung worth it ba pag aksayahan ng panahon or hindi.

It is good to make friends when you are alone, I am not referring to guys, but also to gals.  Maka meet ka rin ng girl-friends dun in the same boat and you can share your stories.

mga sisses - unsophisticatedme and tootsie, here is my story on the 2-3 dates thing.  First time I dated after separating from my ex spouse, una una ayoko sya. He was my officemate. Coffee lang naman di ba? so why not. Sige I went. Then after that, he again invited me, which ang tagal na text-an and email-an bago ako pumayag.  Kasi nga di ko sya masyado gusto initially. Guess what, after the 2nd date, nakoh, parang nagkakagusto nako sa kanya.  But it did not work out eventually kasi nawawala wala sya and I seemed to be skeptical on his motives.

So moral of the story?

1) Puede mo magustuhan ang guy na initially ayaw mo after a couple of dates

2) Not to be too trusting or fall in love (infatuation) easily kasi di mo pa sya lubos na kilala
Kaya MEET lang ng MEET, I am now a firm believer of multiple dating kasi this diverts your attention from only one guy, until you find the one that makes you feel he can be a good partner for you.

3) Dating does not mean engaged na kayo. It is just getting to know - as Friends. Tsaka nyo na pag usapan kung mag click man kayo.

Anyway, to make the long story short, I eventually met my BF 6 months later after going on multiple dating. Same with my BF, hindi ko sya nagustuhan agad in our first 2 dates.  But eventually, I fell head over heels with him, with his personality, with our compatibility, etc.  And we are together for over 2 years now.  :)

Wala kasi akong car pagpunta to/from venue kaya I can't go alone sa singles night din. Hehe. Pasensya na, wala akong budget para magtaxi.

Hindi na nagpaparamdam si guy na recently kong naka date so I guess may iba na syang ka date this weekend.

Ang ending, zero nil bokya ako uli this valentines day😄

Hehe

Pero seriously, you have to have a way going to/from the venue. Do you really need to take a cab?

Awww :(

Im already 36. Got four grown up kids (18,17,15 and 10), seperated for almost five years (but not legally) had a bf (who's married) for four yrs, i ended the relationship when i got here in jp 7mos ago.
I dated two guys, foreigners, one is also married, the other seperated but doesnt want a serious commitment. both relationship didnt work out.
Im so tired of looking for love. But i feel lonely being single. Im trying my best to be happy alone and focus with work and my children instead (even if they are far from me) pero i don't know why im feeling this way. Parang im scared of being alone and i badly need someone to love me. I dont know if its wrong or not, i feel its wrong. But i am still looking. Im not waiting. Im single right now but i dont want to be single for a long time.
.. Im sad.😔

^i know that feeling sis, i feel the same way sometimes and just like you i try to focus my attention to my daughter and work, its tough to find love these days, most guys are just after FoB or ONS, its really disappointing. sometimes it makes me think that guys are not capable of loving.

That's why don't engage in premarital sex.

^it can be really hard sis specially when youre far away from home. Same here. I feel like these days, men are just into you know what. I want to keep the faith but honestly, its faltering. I dont know if its right to feel bad about it i sometimes tell myself, why cant you just be happy by yourself? You dont need a man to be happy, you got kids and a good job. Youre independent. Pero deep inside, im longing for someone to tell me "i'll be there for you. I LOVE YOU." 😔

^ tingin nyo it is about our culture lang?  yung tipong kelangan may partner ka?  Admittedly, I felt the same dati, when I was in Manila. kita mo daming loveteam etc. grade 1 palang mga bata nagtutuksuhan na.

pero when I went abroad, I did not feel this. I mean mas naghilom kahit papano, kasi ina-avoid ko syang isipin, tapos my environment did not remind me of those things din. Kaya mas madali ako naka move on on my own.

May nakita ngako isang youtube na palabas analyzing the psyche of a pinay - lumalabas Pinays in general are "needy" individuals daw.  I am not saying it is true at proven, pero parang may point sya.  Thats why yung ibang andito na nag-w-work abroad, they often find themselves brokenhearted or having several BFs. The problem with being needy kasi you can fall prey easily sa mga lalaki na manamantala.  So it is important to always use your head and not falling immediately.

Sex lang ang habol sayo ng guy and i can assure that because im a guy. One way to know if sincere yung guy sayo is pakasalan ka talaga. That's the only way to know if true love yung nahanap mo. In short wag ka magpahubad agad ng panty porket gwapo or mabait si guy to you and your family. 😜

Actually you can. You can be happy on your own. You can be happy without needing a man to do that for you. Our society kase here tells na once you have a man, then yun na ang culmination ng buhay mo. Na as if that should be the ultimate goal in life. Sure it feels nice to have a man, but it should not be the measure of your happiness.
