Suggested Schools in Alabang Area

Hi Sisters, Where to enroll my son for preschool? what school can you suggest in Alabang Area. Im considering Southville but medyo malayo na sa amin but if good naman feedbacks ok na rin.

I would suggest Zobel or Southridge instead of Southville. Mas maganda ang turo sa either Zobel or SR talaga eh. Based lang sa personal experience and their admission and performance in top-tier schools.

Manresa or San beda alabang..kung kaya ng budget mag zobel kn lang..

If I have a son, I will definitely enroll him in Southridge.  The have unique academic and personal formation programs. You can attend their open house on 18 Oct to find out more. Just call the Registrar's office 8073644 for reservation.

i'd go for zobel.  the best yung facilities and of course, the quality of education is already proven.  mahal nga lang.  but if you've got the money, i think this is the best in the area.

@ilovehim, try Paref Ridgefield. or Rosemont. both are in Alabang. That's if you want to put your kid in Paref schools for gradeschool (or kahit hindi). Most of my friends put their kids there. You can also inquire in Young Creative Minds, which is in Madrigal Business Park. The directress is Harvard trained, and teachers are young and from top schools. Their curriculum is good too.

I thought the standard is quite high?

^yes. or maybe it was just me. i went with the wrong crowd lol. anyway, we have some successful people in our batch naman, some took 7 to 8 years in college just to finish a four-year course or some who haven't finished college at all. there are a few who are in and out of rehab, or those who refuse to go to rehab and still live their effed up lives. anyway, i'll just keep it short... the quality is good, but the type of people you are surrounded with, are not the best people to be around with.

oh, bullying was very rampant during my time.

I agree na very important talaga ang environment...Almost lahat nman may ginawang wrong sa buhay but the important thing is we learn something from it...Thanks for sharing...

Anong VMIS?
Yung mga bata dito sa community namin halos lahat Manresa, hindi ba masyado na crowded sa Manresa? Sabi nila nasa 45 students per class na sila.

^Virgin Mary Immaculate School along commerce avenue. Prep school only near st. Jerome church.
That's what i heard also sis per class nila sa Manresa.

Manresa is good, but marami nga sila diyan. I remember years ago pa ito, when I was in a Math competition with other Paranaque schools, super dami ng entrants ng Manresa kasi ang dami nilang students.

Re: Southville, don't be fooled by the word "International" in the name. I know of many other schools na international pero hindi naman ganun kaganda. Based on experience, hindi ganun kaganda sa SV talaga. That's middleschool/highschool though.

Southridge/Woodrose and attached preschools - very good performance in top-tier universities (think Ateneo, UP, La-Salle). Graduates have confidence and are well taught.
