Three of my girl friends are breadwinners. Yung mga husbands nila walang trabaho, and I really feel bad for them. Di ko kaya ang sitwasyon nila, ni ayokong isipin na mapapasok ako sa sitwasyon nila.Minsan iniisip ko, masaya nga kaya sila katulad ng pino-project nila pag magkakasama kami? I mean, how can you continue loving someone who can't even give you a gift on your birthday? Or buy milk for you baby? Or contribute to grocery expenses? Parang yung nafi-feel ni TS, nakakawalang-gana talaga (kung magpapakatotoo sila). The thing is, dapat talaga sa simula pa lang kilalanin mo na ang magiging partner mo. May money-making ability ba? May sipag ba? May initiative ba? Ang sabi nga ng asawa ko, "one can't make love with an empty stomach." And I agree. Money is very important in a relationship (again, kung magpapakatotoo tayo). For one, you need money to sustain the kilig factor in your relationship. You need money to date, to dress good for your partner, to cook something special for you husband, to buy gifts for each other. Kay TS, mahirap ang situation mo. Pero if there's any consolation, at least hindi tamad ang partner mo. Pero sa tingin mo, in a span of mga 5 years, ganyan pa rin kaya kayo? If yes, then better do something drastic, like mag-abroad siguro to find a higher paying job at makapag-isip-isip kung siya na ba talaga ang gusto mong makasama habambuhay. If no, then be hopeful na lilipas din ang 'hikahos' stage na pinagdadaanan ninyo ngayon.
