Hi again mga sis! Question lang po to those who stayed sa GC... Pwede ba makigamit ng microwave nila? Or may microwave ba sila? Kasi yung medela quick steam bags na lang sana ang dadalin ko para masterilize yung mga bottles ni baby e. Hay hassle naman kasi diba kung dadalin ko pa yung sterlizer. Hehe! Any suggestion naman... Wala akong makitang avent tempo sa malls e. yung tablet di ko pa natry sa mothercare..sabi meron daw dun. Hay...

^sis pwede mo din try playtex drop-ins, for me mas ok pa sya compared to avent tempo kasi the rings of tempo bottles may contact pa din sa milk eh so need pa din wash and sterilize unlike the playtex rings na completely covered ng teat, meaning wala ng contact sa milk so teats lang papalitan....pwede mong soak na lang sa hot water yung teats....yan plan ko gawin eh hehe, may tempo ako and avent sanay si baby pero plan ko sanayin sa playtex dropins before kami punta ng HK

Naiinis ako sa Taisan Guesthouse. Nagpa reserve ako ng room sa November pa naman. Then I paid the non refundable deposit na HKD800. Syempre I asked for email confirmation. Several emails na ginawa ko wala pa ring reply, then just today nag reply si Ken ba yun? (ken@hktaisanguesthouse) ang sabi na they dont issue confirmation if the reservation was not made online. I can trust Yolly naman daw since 20 years na sya dun. Ganun ba talaga yun mga sis? What can we show sa Immigration Officers in case they asked about our hotel/accomodation booking?

Sis yufa, ganyan din ginawa namin dati. We booked manila-hk then pauwi macau-manila via cebu pac. We did not encounter any problems naman.

^^ sis ycel0612, we stayed in taisan guesthouse harilela branch before and when i paid the non refundable deposit, i have to email ken pa to make sure that he received my deposit.  Then a week before our departure i emailed again reminding him of our reservations then yun yung pinrint ko in case may questions sa immigration.  However, based on my experience never pa naman ako hiningan ng print out of our accomodations.

^^thanks sis purple629, so yun na lang din gagawin ko. Kaya lang just today,  that Yolly and I had an argument over the phone. I called her to say na I need the confirmation but Ken wont issue it so sya na lang daw mag email (she gave her email). I'll just send her the details then mag reply sya after three days. Of course I asked why three days pa. Ayun, she just yelled to me na bakit daw nagmamadali ako malayo pa naman. I answered her na Im expecting prompt action since I already paid the deposit. Then she challenged me to just cancel the reservation.  Kainis lang akto nya, parang hindi customer ang kausap. Ken seems not interested to reply in queries, Yolly is arrogant.  So I'm thinking if i give up ko na lang ba yung reservation to find other hostels or even hotel na lang basta OK ang customer service.

Sis ycel0612, I feel sad naman sa kwento mo ke Yolly, not for anything, you should give her a lesson, para kasing yung hamon it sounds like "wala kang choice dahil hinde mo kayang maghanap ng iba". Na parang nakakadegrade ng morale. Kung ako yung sis, bawiin ko yung reservation and ask her to return the money and report her. I'm sure makakakita ka pa ng mas magandang hostel, masyadong hinde maganda ang kanyang ugali.

Sis ~yufa~, if macau -hk ferry, the price should be Hkd. I checked sa internet yung turbojet yung cost nya, for super class yata yung rate na nakita mo kasi parang around 280 hkd yun.

Share lang baka makatulong.

^ sis lheimatte, what I am afraid is she will mess up our reservations. I really cant cancel because I'll lose HKD800, pang shopping din yun  Madali kaya makahanap ng tutuluyan sa HK in case lang?

Oh well, what I can do is to warn others regarding Taisan Guesthouse. Dapat pala you bargain for lower deposit (mine is almost half of total price) para hindi nakakahinayang i cancel if mag ka aberya.

DUE TO THE EMAIL THAT I RECEIVED FROM FEMALENETWORK, I AM JUST CONSOLIDATING MY POSTS. THUS, I  DELETED MY POSTS 30 MINS AGO(jeez ang higpit naman ngayon...For the past 2 days nag-login ako, nakareceive ako ng 3 different messages from them...Sobrang tagal ko ata nawala dito haha)

Like a DIY booking ha not a Travel Agency booking? Sorry ha kulit. I am just worried kasi baka mamya kasi since the currency is in MPP, baka may mga charges na nawala since assumed na taga-Macau ako...then masurprise na lang ako pag dating ko dun na may mga additional fees pa pala ako na babayaran. Salamat po ulit.  =)

Hi sis! Sorry for not clearing things up. I meant like immigration/travel fees when leaving HK to Macau (sort of like the travel tax here in the Philippines).

Thanks. Hopefully ganun din pag HK-Macau. Ilang minutes/hours ba dapat nandun na sa ferry terminal and mag-check in? Parang sa plane din ba like 2-3 hours before? =)

^sis i booked our tickets directly thru cebu pac's website. We did not encounter any problems and all in na yun we did not pa anything na at macau airport.

sisses i tried to book sa golden crown for aug2013 yesterday tapos today may nagemail sa kin na fully booked na? ganon ba agad mapupuno? almost a year ahead huhuhuhuhu

^sis, ganun talaga lalo na pagmaganda ang review pero mahaba pa naman yun time mo try try mo rin mag email sa kanila baka malusot.

By the way, I booked hop inn for 4nights on the 29Nov till 3Dec this year and paid 10% of the double room rate (hkd600/night), baka me interested na kunin yung slot, let me know.

@ qhym sis di kaya akala nung inemail mo eh august 2012 yung pinapabook mo? nung nagbackread kasi ako dati dito parang naaalala ko may isang sis tayo na nagsabi na nung nagpareserve sya sa golden crown sabi daw sa kanya try ulit 3 or 4 months before nung date na gusto nya kasi di pa open reservation pag sobrang tagal pa ng date

Sis ycel0612, how many rooms did you reserved in taisan? Sa amin kasi we only paid hkd500 as reservation for 3 rooms na yun. Actually marami na akong nabasa na negative feedback sa taisan guest house but dun lang sa branch na managed by yolly kaya when we reserved i specified talaga yung branch na gusto ko and maayos naman kausap si ken.  Maybe you can report this incident to ken and ask na lang if you can get back your deposit then hanap ka na lang ng ibang accomodation if hindi ka talaga satisfied.

1. Victoria Peak/Madam Tussauds (matagal kami sa madam tussauds sa daming picture taking)
2. Avenue of stars/symphony of lights

^ sis purple29 , na sad naman ako hkd500 lang pina deposit sa inyo. isang triple room lang yung pina reserve ko yet hkd800 pinadeposit nung Yolly. Too late, nabasa ko yung negative feedback dito after ko mag pa reserve.    Problem sis, even si Ken parang mahirap kausap. After I made the deposit, I kept sending emails requesting confirmation from him but he refused kasi daw nag pa reserve ako thru phone. Ewan ko ba dun  Tsaka bihira sya mag reply, kaya I doubt kung me mangyayari if mag reklamo ako sa kanya.

^sis qhym , parang nabasa ko somewhere sa website ng golden crown guesthouse na hindi sila nag bo book ng more then 6 months pa yung travel date.




Pwede kaya na ipag bili ko na lang yung reservation ko sa Taisan, dun sa nasa HK ng Nov 8 to 11  Half ng reservation then assume the balances.  Sa City Econo na lang kami or Cosmic Guesthouse
