secured and happy for 7 years now

I thought no one would be able to love me since even my own 'family' disowned me but I'm glad that I'm wrong.

Yes I am secured of his love for me. We've been married for 2 yrs palang, I got married at a young age 23 :) he's older than me so I feel that he's matured and lagi ako napagbibigyan :)

Sis kaiz, if you are secured, why are you unhappy naman? :(

To answer the TS question: Yes, I'm very much secured with my husband's love. Between us, we both know mas love nya ako kesa sa love ko sya. He loves everything about me, flaws and all. Been married a little more than 9 years and we're doing better as husband and wife as years go by. Hindi palaging smooth ang journey namin but we're happy and still madly very much in love with each other... more than anything else, thats what matters most :)

I am deeply secured with my husband's love for me. We've been through all sorts of problems and we always manage to rise above things mostly because he's willing to give up and to sacrifice anything and anyone for me and our daughter. He's seen me at my best and at my worst but his love remains the same; unconditional. But with that, I don't want to quantify our love in the sense of who loves who more, that sounds like an insecure love for me, IMO Lang ah. For me kase, love varies in intensity, it's very hard to measure it unless you do so by comparing your expressions of love. Iba iba kase yan eh Pero I will never go as far as saying that in our marriage, one loves more than the other. The quality of love is immeasurable.

yes, after 5 years na mag-on tapos 16 years.  kasama na din [textspeak!] 10 years of waiting for a baby, stroke. nandito pa din sya.

secured naman ang feeling ko..

we have been married for nearly four years at ala pa naman ako reason to feel otherwise...

what i'm saying is: secured ba kayo na mahal na mahal kayo ng inyu inyong husbands?

yes. in a relationship, hinding hindi maaaring same level of love kayo. lagi merong mas nagmamahal. but the important thing is mahal niyo and isa't isa and secured kayo sa love niyo for each other.

Yes, very much secured. My hubby is an old-fashioned guy, hindi sya mahilig sa night outs, he doesn't smoke and rarely drinks. He is so predictable to the point na pati iniisip pa lang nya alam ko na. I think because a part of that virtue due to the ways his parents mold him, disciplinarian kasi sila.

We'll i have a happy marriage and a hapoy family but a woman should not feel too secured. We should be on our toes pa din kahit loves tayo ng hubby natin.
So that a marriage also will continue to grow at hindi maging stagnant.

I've just read an article sa PDI. The woman thought na perfect yung hubby nya at perfect yung marriage nila, then the hubby died and she's really so sad and disraught. She even put up a foundation in the name of her hubby. Then one day, while having dinner, a colleague has inadvertently make a slip, she told the woman that the kids of her hubby looks very much like him. Eh wala naman silang kids. Kids pala sa ibang babae. So there, the perfect husband is not so perfect!

tsaka walang kasiguraduhan sa mga katulad kong maagang nag-asawa. andami kong kilala na may failed marriages or may mistresses along the way.

napa isip ako kung secured nga ba ako, at katulad mo sis, I'll be lying if I say I am. Mag 1 year palang kame ng husband ko and we've been together since 2008 pero for some reason, hindi ako secured.

i am secured but unhappy.

how does it feel sis? Why are you unhappy?

I like your advise sis, you have a point about being on our tose and always on the look out, wag masyadong kampante.

I think being too kampante about his love would also lead us to not putting effort in the marriage and into ourselves as a wife. Thanks for sharing sis :)

I agree with these but to an extent. But for me, I am secured but that doesn't mean na boring na yung relationship kasi  kampante ka. Being secured to your husband love brings positive vibes which is good in a marriage or any relationship. Kasi pag sinabi mong unsecured, doon na papasok yung strain sa relationship because of doubts and jealousy na very unhealthy and stressful.

Now, yung effort to keep the flame burning especially sa mga matagal ng mag-asawa is another matter, in my opinion regardless of whether you are secured or unsecured dapat andoon pa rin ang effort, lifetime na yun lalo na pag tumatanda.

Though our marriage has been tested before, i am confident to say that yes, my husband loves me so much and i am very much secured. Kahit na nambabae sya dati nung ldr kami, i am still convinced that he truly loves me and even more. I know how stubborn and pain in the pwet wife i am, andyan pa rin sya. He became a better person after that incident and i think i love him even more than before. It made us stronger, we love each other even more because of our realization how important we are to each other. Even if it hurt me deeply yung pambabae nya dati, i thank the Lord wholeheartedly that He gave us strength and showered us with understanding and forgiveness. Hay nasenti ako bigla  ;D

sad to say Im not secured. Then after a week nagbago ang isip nya... plano kasi nung una is next year, biglang naging year 2014. Then after a week pa biglang di na nya alam kung anong taon ba talaga. Reasons nya: una ipon daw (kaso wala naman siyang iniipon talaga, wala akong nakikitang effort para makapag ipon sya) 2nd sabi nya may work daw kami kaya daw di namin mapapanahunan yun. For me kung valid yun edi dapat wala nang nakasal na may work diba!
