just came from macau last nov. 11; medyo na delayed ang travel namin because of the bad weather in macau and true enough, ang lakas ng alon hence medyo dahan-dahan lang ang cotai jet na sinakyan namin; we bought the tickets pagbaba namin sa macau pero dapat pala macau-kowloon ang sinabi ko instead of macau-hongkong-sa central pala terminal nun at mas malayo sa tinirhan namin sa nathan road. we enjoyed our trip to venetian and galaxy, sad to say di na namin napuntahan ang senado square at st. paul of ruins due to lack of time at hindi ko din malocate or maconfirm kung paano magpunta doon. malamig sa macau so you better bring a jacket or cardigan with you.

^What time kayo nag ferry sis? maalon ba that day because of bad weather lang talaga or pag hapon maalon talaga?

Finally, napag desisyunan ko na rin ang Macau trip namin. I decided to stay overnight nalang sa Macau khit medyo mabitin ang Hongkong namin at madagdagan ang gastos, naalala ko kasi daughter ko late masyado ang macau/manila flight namin at least khit check out na kmi we can still stay at hotel lobby pa.

I booked our dec14-15 at Sintra hotel website, P4885 + taxes, total p5617 ang nakuha ko for a standard twin lang (pero 4 kami + 1 toodler, bahala na si batman hehe). From ferry terminal, me free shuttle naman si Sintra db? then pag pauwi nmin from Sintra to Airport meron din bang free shuttle mga sis?

Next na i pafinalize ko, mga pupuntahan na  nalista ko na yung iba, baka madagdagan pa kaya basa mode muna ulit. Nga pala, di na ba talaga ma vi view mga previous thread?

Okay lang ba na Hotel Sintra kami for 2 days tapos last day namin splurge kami ng onti sa hotel, lipat kami sa Venetian or the likes?

^location-wise, room, staff & budget ok ang sintra sis. kung may budget ka talaga sa hotel, go ka na sa venetian, galaxy or hard rock. check mo hard rock baka may promo pa sila ng HODW.

^ okay na sana talaga ko with sintra sis eh. unfortunately, ang room na lang na available nila on Dec 8 is yung corner suite which costs P10K including taxes. I checked Venetian Hotel Macau, 12K ata siya incl taxes. Galaxy naman, 15K. Grand Lapa Mandarin Oriental naman P10.5K (w/o bfast), 12K (w/bfast). Hard Rock naman, di na afford. Haha

Pano malalaman ang bus fare sa Macau?

^pag-akyat mo ng bus sis may nakasulat don sa coins na hinuhulugan. dapat exact fare kasi hindi na yon nagsusukli

For journeys on Macau peninsula there is a flat fare at MOP$3.20. If you travel to Taipa, it costs MOP$4.20 and if your destination is Coloane village MOP$5.00. If you go to Hác Sá, you will pay MOP$6.40. For those wishing to go from Macau to the Airport or back, the special bus service costs MOP$4.20 per person.

mga sis anung suggested IT nyo for a day visit sa Macau? me and my family are allotting 1 day out of our 4 days of our Hk vacation for this.

Gusto ko lang makita yung ruins of St Paul, yung Venetian for the boat ride, casinos and to dine for a buffet lunch sa 60th floor ng Macau tower.

Re: lunch buffet, bibili na kami ng tickets sa CTS sa airport, need pa ba mag email sa kanila for reservation ng tables?

^ i dont think so, nag punta kami don before walk in lang no reservation.


Visit City of Dreams maganda don, if you have the budget watch The House of Dancing Water, ganda!

Oh and when you visit Venetian Hotel make sure to check out The Magic of The Seasons 3D Light and Sound Spectacular, every 30 minutes ang show from 6:00pm to 10:00pm everyday

hi mga sis, question, sa hotel sintra kami nakacheck in, so pag punta kami ng COD and Venetian may free shuttle and COD sa harap ng sintra right? How about pag pabalik kami sa sintra, ano po sasakyan namin shuttle? COD pa din ba? tnx

^yes sa harap kayo ng sintra sasakay ng shuttle bus ng COD. from venetian naman sakay kayo ng free shuttle nila papuntang macau ferry then sakay uli ng free shuttle ng lisboa tapos lakad na lang.

i see..sis from macau ferry terminal, wala bang sariling shuttle ang Sintra?
Isa pa po pala, ano po pwede sakyan from Sintra to Macau tower?

^sis, di ko sure. pero kung wala kang makita sakay ka na lang sa shuttle ng malapit na hotel don. yong macau tower, sakay ka ng bus. nagtanong lang din kami sa staff non kung san kami sasakay & anong bus #

^MOP3.20 ang flat rate. so dapat lagi kang may coins kasi hindi nagsusukli yon, ihuhulog mo lang yong coins sa tabi ng driver pag-akyat mo.

Sisses, another hotel option, Holiday Inn Cotai Central. Sa complex ng Sands Central katapat lang ng Venetian. Actually, same casino card nga gamit ng casinos sa Sands at sa Venetian e. bago-bago pa yung hotel so maganda. Maluwag din ang lobby, free wifi, shuttle, etc. na-try namin nung August, 1 night kami dun tapos 1 night sa Venetian. Masarap din yung buffet breakfast sa Grand Orbit restaurant nila. Sa Venetian walang kasamang breakfast yung kinuha naming rate e.
