Farming - anyone?

After watching Farmon sa TNT, I joined for the 9th cycle. Actual farming will start on January pero hindi pa sila sumasagot about bank details and contracts. Is it really mandatory to pay 250 for notarized contracts for each investment?

Nagjoin din ako for the 9th cycle. Received the contract after a day na mag register ako, tapos nagbayad ako thru paypal. Natanggap ko din yung confirmation nila within a day na nagbayad ako. Kaya lang yung update sa website ang hindi pa nila naupdate till now.

Last Friday sis, siguro nga dahil weekend dyan. Anyways,  sumagot sila sa FB at email ko at mga 3-5 days daw bago ma-send ang contract kasi madami daw nagjo-join sa 9th cycle.

we're into investing lang. so far, good naman yung agri biz.
we first ventured sa poultry thru CK Group of Livestock Trading. hindi profit sharing but fixed 10% profit every 2 months. naka 1 year na kami, so maganda naman
kakastart pa lang namin sa organic farming thru San Pablo Farm Agro-Ventures, profit sharing. wala pa kaming nakukuha since quarterly ito.
i'm interested din sa piggery, pero wala pa akong makita na interested ako. more likely baka sa San Pablo Farm Agro-Ventures na lang ule kasi me piggery din sila. I have to check first kung ok sila sa output nila haha

^ yes. invested money lang. yung sa CK Group of Livestock Trading, we went to their office sa Eastwood. baka madalaw namin yung farm this month. yung sa San Pablo, we went to their farm talaga

i'm interested to invest as well in Farmon. nakita ko na website nila. Hindi ko lang maintindihan yung 1,500 for example for watermelon tapos may slot for no. of plots/heads. ang 1,500 ba para sa isang plot/head lang? I hope sis aishen1208 you can enlighten me on this.


I understand now sis may calculator pala sa website for computation of your total bill. so per head pala sya,

Yung sa San Pablo, I can't find active ads nila sa OLX. maybe on hold yung investment nila.

Is there someone here investing into MFT group of companies? Yung kay Mica Tan.
12% yung return in a year. For example you're going to put certain amount for 12months. They will give the return monthly (1% each month) then on 12th month ibalik yung principal plus interest.
Post dated check yung ibibigay nila.

Search muna ako about them. Before invest into them.
But I already heard Mica Tan's name. She's a very young investor (22 years old and already millionaire at the age of 18). Napanood ko lang yung episode ng Wise Cash of TGFI group sa podcast.

I joined the 8th cycle. I noticed nga din na every crop/livestock you will invest will have a notarized fee of Php 250. So I emailed FarmOn na sobrang bagal mag reply sa email. Kaya I sent them an SMS & called them sa ‘Pinas just to make na iamend nila iyong contract with only one payment of Php 250.

Recently lang nila sinend the notarized contract to me, the actual farming for the 8th cycle started last November 1. So far wala akong update na narereceived. I logged on din sa website, wala ring update eh.

Okay ang concept nila pero parang ang pangit ng customer service. Baka kulang sila ng manpower sa dami ng nag invest sa kanila?

Hence I’m thinking twice if mag iinvest ako for the 9th cycle…

Sis, how much yung minimum na pwede invest sa kanila?
And pati nadin yung sa san Pablo? Do you have their contacts other than FB page?
Pano ba pag join.

I think ang minimum sa FarmOn ay Php 100 since one chicken costs you one hundred pesos. Pero parang lugi ka naman if with that amount ka mag iinvest since iyong notary fee is Php 250 na agad.

^Required ba yun notary? Naka invest ako for 7th and 8th cycles, hindi naman ako sinabihan magpa notarize.

Hinihintay ko magharvest na yun 7th cycle para magre invest ako for 9th or 10th cycle

^May tick box sila kung may notary or no notary. Actually sa legal na usapan, kapag may contracts, strictly speaking, kelangan notarised sa PH. And if nonotarised, marami pang kasama yan na pareho kayo dapat na nasa harap ng notary public na nag sign etc. Matrabaho (and magastos) for OFW investors yun ganon set-up. (Sa iba bansa, hindi na kelangan notarisation, normally signatures lang, plus company stamp). So ang hawak lang talaga ng investors is scanned docs (at the start).

I share the same sentiment as above poster, baka nagssuffer yun 'investor relations' nila dahil sa dami ng investments. Growing pains yan. Pero in my view, this is still tolerable for my pain-level, kasi alam ko how difficult it is to deal with farmers, land use, utilities, etc, dagdagan mo pa ng mga customers like us who wants immediate feedback. Maybe eventually they can sort out how best to handle investment queries during the investment pooling period.

Nakakatuwa naman yang online farming investment, i hope marami pa ang mag share ng experience nila with this kind of investment. My lupa rin parents ko sa province though pili lang din talaga yung mga fruits and gulay na itatanim. Actually maraming tanim tatay ko na gulay at puno sa paligid lang ng house namin dun kasi sa bakanteng lote nya di na sya makapagtanim kasi ninanakaw lang din ang mga bunga.Di nya rin kayang puntahan araw-araw kasi sa edad nya na rin.So I'm thinking na ipatanim na lang sa may gusto at profit sharing na lang need lang talaga na may magbabantay kaya balak ko kahit ako na magbayad dun sa tao na magbabantay at magtatanim kesa di mapakinabangan yung lupa.

@Mameejhy - yun friend mo who said 20%, is that 20% of investment (eg. P20 for every P100 na nilabas nya), and tapos na yun cycle? Or mid-way pa lang yun, and expecting to earn more? Thanks. Wala kasing historical data yun farmon - so di ko lam if yun projected ROI sa website nila e base from their farm's performance, or from estimates from other people's farms.

I am also interested in farming. I am planning to setup a variety of crops, cacao trees, and banana tress sa small farm lot namin sa Cebu Province. Vermicomposting is a great idea.
