Possible ba that a husband and a wife live in one house pero friends nalang? As in civil nalang? Same house but different rooms.

possible and i think on the brighter side of things, at least, they retain the friendship. i've read somewhere na yung matatagal na talagang mag-asawa, as in in their old age na, mas nareretain na yung friendship more than the love. of course not all naman.

I think that it's completely possible.
And I think that it's also good for the kids.
Mas peaceful.
Syempre dapat na lang mag-set ng boundaries like no taking their dates home, etc.

mas okay na friends sila kun hiwalay na sila at mas ok un nagsasama pa din sa bahay...at least, for the sake of their kids, mas makakatulong un...

If it's a childless marriage, yes, I agree it can be done.
Pero, it might be a different story if there are kids involved.  Hindi ko alam how the kids will take on the situation/arrangement.  For them, mommies and daddies are supposed to love each other and be together as in one  bed one bedroom.  They get their feeling of security and stability from the relationship of the parents.  I don't know,  this separate bedroom thingy will require some big explaining to the kids.
But that's only my opinion.  Maybe it is better than having 2 separate households.  At least the kids will see both parents in the same house all the time.

+1

Its going to be different and very hard for the kids. kasi magtataka talaga sila why mom or why dad has a different room.

yung best friend ko naman separate beds rin sila ng husband niya kasi hindi daw sila kasya sa 1 bed with their daughter kasi malaki si hubby nya. and she also told me habang tumatagal daw talaga para na lang sila magkapatid. and they hardly have sex minsan mga 2-3months na wala.

pano yun sis? i mean yung married life nila is ok pa din? or friends nalang na sometimes nag sesex pa rin? kasi i believe na pag ok ang married life, hindi pwedeng once in 2-3 months ang love making

I have grandparents who slept in separate rooms, but they're still together naman, they go to the mall together, church, etc. I just found it odd bakit separate ang rooms nila... I dont think I want that setting kahit 70yrs old na kami ni hubby :) I dont sleep sa pillow kasi but sa arms ni hubby, we both prefer it that way.

I have an aunt in Canada na ganito set-up nila. Companionship na lang ba ang habol nila sa isa't isa. of course, may caring and all that pero hiwalay nga ang rooms and wala ngang sexy time. though makikita mo pa rin of course ang concern nila sa isa't isa. Ganun lang, boring kung iisipin ko pero baka at old age ganon na nga lang. they are both approaching their 50s when they got married kasi.

^I think its common sa mga elderly couples na sis... but diko feel ang ganyang setting eh kasi age is just a number, the love and need to feel each other should just be the same :) oh well, different strokes for different folks :)

^naiyak ako watching that movie UP sis. Yes corny nga but it's what we prefer lol.

My direct grandma and grandpa, they slept in the same room, the same bed and never end the night without saying their I love you's  ;D if mag LQ sila, my lolo never fails to write my lola a love letter to make peace with her :) kapatid ng lola ko yung elderly couple na hindi natutulog sa isang room.

hubby and i are on the same set up right now. but i dont prefer this ha, i actually want him out of the house because ayoko na talaga dahil loko loko siya - ah, too long story. kaya lang makapal ang face kaya ayan, nasa bahay padin. he sleeps sa baba ng bed because kami ng baby sa bed. wala kaming pakialaman. mahirap pero the house is mine so how can I leave. so im just praying hard each day and night na he leaves so I can really start over.

^^good to know you're okay with your hubby now sis :) hoping that your marriage becomes stronger now.

^sis so sorry to hear about your situation, good thing that's your house. Mahiya naman sana hubby mo at umalis na if ayaw mo na talaga sa kanya or baka wala cyang mapuntahan sis? I think he'd better leave kesa palaging ganun nasa baba cya ng bed, Im sure your kid will wonder why and it's really not easy for the kid to understand bakit specially if they're young.

That's possible. Recently, mejo sweet-sweetan sila, like calling each other papa and mommy pero magkahiwalay pa din. They don't mind each other's business. Pero with me and my husband, I dont think it'll work. We want na magkadikit kami pag natutulog. Kahit may LQ, in the middle of the night, we found ourselves na magkayap na or nakadantay na yung legs namin with each other.

Possible, yes.  Counsellors call this "roofing".  Disconnected/estranged but living under 1 roof, for reasons only the couple know.

Our old couple neighbor live in a separate house but in 1 lot :(
Its the wife who dont want to be with the husband, but she goes to his house everyday, to visit him...

Parang ayoko ng ganito, pero what can i say, ive been under a LDR for quite sometime now, and when the husband comes home, it takes a lot of effort in my part to sleep comfortable beside him. :(

Mahirap to, lalo na if their in the same house pero separate rooms. Dapat mawork out pa yung relationship nila as married couple. Yung The Break Up. Kaso hindi sila married dito and the reason they are staying together is because of their condo. Parang housemate or boardmate.  ^_^

speaking of this...

nagkakwentuhan kami ng officemate ko kanina, ngayon lang cya nagsabi na for less than a year now, di na sila tabi ng hubby nya matulog...sya sa tabi ng mga bata (they have 3 kids sleeping in a separate room).. tapos si hubby sa room nila. ang reason nya sa mga bata is nag snore daw si daddy nila at malikot matulog. Pero ang totoo, wala na daw sila gana pareho sa relasyon nila (they've been together for more than 10 years) at parang on the verge of hiwalayan na. kaya lang sila di naghihiwalay pa is they are worried about the kids..
