We do airbnb every time we go to Europe. So far our experiences have been good. Importante lang is to always check the reviews of the landlords/managers of the place you are intending to rent.

We stayed at a flat in Causeway Bay. Basic amenities lang, double bed, may water heater, may small counter top tapos bathroom na medyo mas malaki naman than your average toilets in HK. Convenient ang location kasi it's in front of World Trade Center Mall tapos sa kabilang street, Sogo na.

Basta look for the username hongkongkiwy. Yan yung owner ng flat.

so is it more advisable for big cities/popular tourist spots? the place we're planning to visit, i can only find four places and only one of them has a review.

I stayed at airBNB rentals for a total of 3.5 months for 2012 alone. Positive experience thus far.

haven't tried these sites but hubby and i are staying in a holiday home in our visit to the UK this February, booked through Cornish Cottages. This actually would save you a lot of money vs hotels and even BnB's. A lot of flats would have complete amenities from heaters, internet, appliances and even cook ware. prices are different per season though and weekly mas makakamura ka

We stayed here on our last visit to HK, it's at the back of Sogo lang in Causeway Bay. Good location.

We booked through Airbnb for our travel to HK next month.  Good reviews naman the place we chose.  Very near Mongkok MTR, kabilang street is Ladies Market na.  I hope this will be a good experience.

Hi guys! For those who have used AirBnB, do they really charge you the total amount na kagad from your credit card once you've booked the room or apartment? I'm interested in getting an apartment kasi in paris for 8 nights but our itinerary might still change so baka 5 nights lang talaga kami dun. If ever may alteration na gaun, paano po yung charges on our credit card kaya? Thank you!!
