^I used to live in NY..central park is huge..kaya maraming area na ok for photoshoots...then you can walk going to 5th ave, St Patrick's Cathedral then Rockefeller...few blocks away din unh NY Public Library then beside [textspeak!] Bryant Park.

If may time pa sana...ok din sa Brooklyn Bridge. HTH! Good luck!!

Suggestion sakin ng photographers times square, dumbo and chelsea daw? Are they kinda close together? I wonder how is the traffic if we drive around those areas? Kaya kaya ng 2 hours sis yung 3? But i would like to go to central park too and Rockefeller ☺️... Btw may cherry blossoms ba in ny? 🌸

^sis, medyo magkakalayo sila and parang kulang ang 2 hours esp if you'll be driving coz of the traffic.

If you like dumbo...dumbo then brooklyn bridge pagsamahin mo kase same area lang naman. Then Chelsea...paakyat ka to Times Sq.  For me d ko masyado bet ang TS kase konti lang naman ang pedeng kunan ng pix then super dami ng tao pa.

we stayed also at the row, near times square, small rooms but very convenient location though

Will be going to toronto end of april to first week of may and my fiance wants to drive to nj/nyc. His sis kasi lives in nj. Was thinking to have our engagement shoot in nyc. Any suggestions for top 3 places sisses? I am contacting a ny based photographer din. Per hour/ per location daw ang bayad lol kaya might get lang for 1-2 hours.  Or if meron one place na may magkalapit lang sila? Was thinking of times square. I am a fan of serendipity kaso spring kami makakapagshoot. Would love to hear your suggestions. TIA! 😍

Yes its true the photogs charges here per location which is a little steep. You might want to try Weehawken its a view with a skyline but its in Jersey

Does anyone know a good makeup artist based here? Let me know too thanks

3 weeks from now lilipad kami mag-asawa to NYC to visit my in-laws. wala pa ako itinerary for 3 days, I know medyo kulang oras namin sa nyc pero hindi ko kaya magtagal sa malamig. 2days namin balak mag ikot sa manhattan. then last day spend namin sa family and friends na nasa nyc at new jersey.

I will be staying in washington for 10 days but i want to go to NYC. Its 4 hours bus ride correct? Is it more convinient to take a bus/train?

Im planning to go lang overnight. Just want to see grand central, times square, central park and the empire state building. Kaya kaya in a day to?

By the way, malayo ba ang golden gate bridge at statue of liberty dito?

^Yup bus will take you around 4 hours while Amtrak (depends on the train) can be a shorter travel wag lang delayed (Amtrak is notorious for being always delayed). The bus is cheaper too.

If you only want to see the attractions you mentioned (a little bit of it anyway since Central Park is huge!) kaya naman one whole day.

Golden Gate bridge is in San Francisco on the west coast, so yeah you have to travel quite a bit 
Statue of Liberty will be more accessible to you from NYC. If you want to do this better get your tickets for the ferry online and get the first ones in the morning as the lines here are humongous. I have some blog entries of our NYC visit you might want to check out for reference.

@powerpacfan Kami naman nag bus from NYC to Washington DC. I can't remember kung Peterpan or Greyhound yun sinakyan namin. Okay naman siya and may C.R. yung bus.

Will be in NY this November.  May I know kung gaano na kalamig around mid-November to early Dec? Trench coat or puffer jackets na ba ang dapat suotin? Also, we'll be a group of 9 adults with 4 seniors, may mga Days Inn levels na hotel/motels ba sa NY? Kung wala, are the hotels strict about sneak-ins?  We're thinking of just getting 3 rooms for all of us kasi. Tia!

@byutijunkie, re hotel rooms try to book double rooms. Most of the double rooms come with two queen beds so pwede 4 adults per room. For the big hotels usually di na napapansin ilang guests per room. Check tripadvisor for reviews plus you can see na rin pictures of the rooms posted by the reviewers.

Hi Mama Squeak!  We'll just AirBnb kasi we're a big group na. 9 adults. We'll be there last week Sept to early October kasi takot sa lamig mga Seniors namin hehe.  Have you guys tried any tours like Hop On Hop Off here?  We tried in Hollywood and masaya naman, sa NYC ba madali rin sumakay sa buses?

hi byutijunkie. Sept to October is still okay although it depends. Hot padin. Check your phone for weather since magulo talaga weather sa New Yrok. Christmas last year is hot or maybe for me around 20 degrees pero nagdrop agad the next week to freezing weather.

If you take the bus, it will take forever since traffic is terrible in the cty. take the subway or path trains to get you around. Sa city mismo you can walk if you wish. i walk 20 blocks. Di ka naman mabbore maaliw ka sa mga makikita mo. If you can start from 34th st down to central park. Kung my seniors kayo baka mahirapan kayo
