^where are you located rics? Yes kinda madumi but carry na din kasi very convenient talaga.  i encountered rude people din at yung mga drunk and nag-aaway sa subway! Oh my, scary. But i still like NYC. haha! *weird* 

Yes may bus going to Woodbury but tinamad na kami kasi ang layo (an hour+ ba?) and wala na din time.  Next time unahin na namin yun  Yung sa Flushing from the MIB movie, yun ba yung sa may US Open? If yes, hindi din namin napuntahan yun  To think ang lapit namin dun, haha! Nagkatamaran na kasi nag-uulan na din that time. Hirap talaga pag may kids and no car.  We went to Central Park Zoo and NY Aquarium in Coney Island, Brooklyn. Iba pa yung sa Long Island right?

Dami ko hindi napuntahan    We went to Eataly infront of Flatiron Building. Oh my, chocolate heaven! Try Jacques Torres Chocolate too, ang sarap din ng chocolates! Ang mahal nga lang, hehe!  Madami siyang branches but sa DUMBO kami nagpunta (Amsterdam Avenue, Chelsea Market, DUMBO, Hudson Street, Rockefeller Center).

^meron pa bum na natutulog sa subway tapos ang dumi and baho. sometimes may matye-tyempuhan ka pa na mge weirdos, bigla na lang sisigaw or nagsasalita mag isa. although meron din ganyan here, but generally mas malinis subway dito kahit paano.

marami pa ako actually hinde napuntahan sa manhattan. my sis was actually asking me punta daw kami soho pero tamad naman ako. a lot of times we plan to watch a stage play pero laging something would come up so postponed lagi. the last time we visited, hindi man lang nga ako nakabili ng cheesecake. and yes, iba pa yung long island.

SOHO is nice but madumi din. I really like Greenwich Village but mayayaman daw nakatira dun. Ang ganda ng mga apartments e  then neighbors mo sila Michael Kors, RL, Burberry and other designer stores.  It reminds me of UK kaya like ko siya and tahimik yung area.

Yup, na-encounter ko na din yung mga crazy people sa subway. Haha! I guess hindi complete NYC experience mo if hindi mo sila makasabay sa subway 

According to my sister, sa Junior's daw yung masarap na cheesecake. We bought one but hindi ako kumain, hindi kasi ako mahilig e 

Oh from TO ka pala, next sa agenda ko Canada! Haha! Hopefully next year, sana ma-approve

ah yes, if there's one part of nyc i wanted to live in, that would be in greenwhich hehe. pero ok naman where my family lives since its in the outskirts of nyc na. woodbury is just around 30mins or so drive pag hindi traffic.

if you plan to go to toronto and have some queries, i'd be glad to answer. sana matuloy ka para you experience canadian hospitality.

don't forget the Hamptons sis I'm here right now enjoying a break from the fast phase of city  life.
and i  totally  agree with Greenwich village, stayed there at my  cousin's place.

Is this the place I usually hear/see from movies/tv series? "THE" Hamptons? Sa New York pala yun, haha! I thought somewhere in California (obviously I'm not doing my research, haha!). Ang posh naman dyan, hindi namin carry

Best cheesecake in NYC: Brooklyn Diner that isn't  in Brooklyn, but somewhere Midtown.
Best to order on-line. 

Longest ever Japanese buffet/eat-to-sawa:   ICHI UNI on 32nd between 5th & Madison.
Food is clean & fresh.  Oysters harmless, haha.  Ignore the decor.. Approx $33/head.

For Japanese food comparable to the quality of Inagiku  at Shang Makati:  SUSHI OF GARI on 46th between 8th & 9th. Approximately $10/sushi piece. Pricey but worth it.

BECCO - Italan resto on 46th between 8th & 9th:  appoximately $30/head
Good food, very reasonably priced.  Go early.

Im planning to travel solo on last week of December for a week lang.  San kaya ok mag stay sa NY for solo traveller na affordable?  It will be my first time to travel to US kung sakali, though Ive travelled several times na sa Europe.  I dont know anyone in NY, baka meron magtravel din dyan, we can be travel buddies.

^sis try airbnb.com. we got the 3-bedroom apartment we rented for a week two months ago through that website.  we got it for $95 a night, cheaper than a hotel.  complete amenities pa (but depende sa type of apartment and host yan) like kitchen with ref, dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, coffee, sugar, cream, two T&B, TV with Hulu and Netflix, WIFI, AC at Living and Bedroom. you can also get a room for rent, definitely cheaper than $95.

I'm here till January    San mo plan mag-stay -- Manhattan, Queens, Bronx, Brooklyn?

nice crisp spring weather. at times maulan, still a bit cold (depending on you tolerance) but not too chilly.

I was in New York in May last year and the weather was perfect! One time lang umulan during our arrival after that sunshine all the way. It was nice and cool, sarap mamasyal. A light cardigan/jacket will do at night. During the day para ka lang naka-aircon.

I'll be back this coming September. I hope it won't be too rainy since it's fall season na.
