^ Actually, may basis naman ang doctor mo kasi nga once the milk gets into contact with saliva, may exposure na to bacteria.  Having said this, I have fed my kids leftover milk (left from a previous feeding session; more than 1 hour) and as long as okay ang room temp and hindi pa spoiled ang milk, binibigay ko na rin.  Ang hirap kaya mag-pump.  It was a risk but a calculated one.  Tinitikman naman each time bago ibigay sa bata.  Never nagka-diarrhea ang mga anak ko noong maliliit pa sila.

If you want to take no risks, store milk in small quantities like 2-3 oz per container.

Sa mga working moms na nagpapump.. How do you clean yung pumps and where do you keep it after?  Do still sterilize it after cleaning? Where do you pump?

^what i did before was to put my pump in a ziplock after pumping and store it in my cooler bag (with icepacks) or ref. there's no need to sterilize it after every session, i just washed and sterilized mine pagdating ko sa bahay. i used to pump in the clinic or in vacant conference rooms.

Do u still wash it though after every pumping Or completely no washing and sterilization as long as u put in ref or cooler?

^no washing and sterilization needed, after i pump, nilalagay ko na lang sa ziplock bag tapos i store it na sa cooler or sa ref.

^ ah okay thanks sis, now kasi dahil nasa bahay pa naman ako wash and sterilize  pagkagamit.

pano kayo nagsimula mag build ng stash? i pump every 2hours , 3oz both breasts nagagawa ko at 2weeks. parang di ako makahabol kasi every 2.5 to 3hrs feeding ni baby at 2.5 to 3oz.

dadami pa ba eventually ang napproduce ko kahit na exclusively pumping lang?

alam mo direct feeding is the best para pampadami ng supply. pero habang tinatry ko mag direct, parang sumasama loob ko kay baby (bad i know!). kumikirot kasi nipples ko pag suck niya. mali malamang ang latch. ayoko na ipilit .

pati husband ko nga nasusungitan ko. palagi nalang mainit ulo ko. dahil siguro wala akong tulog (i pump every 2hrs , tapos check ko pa feeding time ni baby 24/7). tapos frustrated pako with direct feeding.

feeling ko tuloy nagiging monster nako! sana mapigilan ko magbigay ng formula.

^sis alam mo pareho tayo prob pagbibuild stash, pero mas bilib ako sayo kasi naninindigan ka not to give formula.. Ako kasi nagbibigay formula pag di ko na kaya sakit nipples (poor latching position at di ko na alam paano gagawin dahil wala ako makitang lactation consultant dito) direct feeding ako the whole day kay baby till night pero pag sobra na sakit formula na.. sa isang araw mga isa or dalawang beses nabibigyan formula si baby..Di rin ako makpagpump ng marami kasi maya maya nakalatch si baby, Yesterday i was out for 7 hours kaya no choice formula si baby, pag uwi ko grabe sakit breast ko at first time ko nagpump na umabot ng halos 5 oz.. Parang ayaw ko tuloy ibigay kay baby baka maubos agad lakas na magmilk.. Now nakatabi na hehe, gusto ko muna sana ipunin para sa gabi yun ibigay ko kay baby, kaya eto habang tulog si baby, pump muna ako n makaipon pang dagdag ang hopefully di na makapagbigay ng formula.. Ganon nalang gawin mo yung paunti unti ipunin mo.

Okay lang na na magmix yung mag leftover milks from the previous session (since di siya completely na wash and dry) sa bagong pump na milk?

pag nagpump ba kayo, do you squeeze your breasts para ma empty talaga? or masama yun kasi nabubugbog?

Nope. Hindi ko ginagawa yun. Yung style ko inaadjust ko yung mga horns and kusa na niyang ni squeeze yung nipples ko. Minsan naman i check on my breasts kung tender na, that means no more milk.

For medela breastpump users, anong breastmilk bottles kaya ang magpifit sa pump aside from medela bottles, nabasa ko gerber daw. May nakapagtry na ba or any other suggestions? May nakita kasi ako sa amazon for $17dollars na medela bottles 10pcs siya 150ml.. Para di na rin sana ako salin ng salin, dito ko na,ang store milk at transfer nalang pag iinumin na ni baby sa feeding bottles niya..

^kasya sa medela pump ko ang Doctor Browns. dun na mismo ako nagsstore minsan. para derecho init nalang pag kinuha sa ref.

^thanks sis.. Puro avent at TT bottles ni baby. Dapat pala bago ako namili ng bottles at pump chineck ko rin mga ganitong bagay para kahit papaano mamaximize ko mga gamit ni baby..

^sis you can buy adaptor for the pump to the bottles para direct na. No salin salin needed, ang avent meron and compatible sya sa mga pumps like medela, unimom etc etc. and i think kasya rin sya sa majority of the bottles like tt and new avent natural bottles. Oh and babymama din pala nagbebenta rin adaptors...

what other brands ng domperidone do you use sisters?
kasi may kamahalan ang motilium, 30 per tab at 2tab 3x a day.
