My avent single electric breast pump has failed me. Expressing manually lang talaga ang the best way ko. I am thinking of selling it tuloy... Buti na lang bought from US kaya medyo mura.

Pag nagpump ba at nakakuha na ako ng mga 2oz, then after one hour ulit magpapump ako, pwede ko pa ba siya imix? Or i need to store it in a separate container na?

I have medela breastpump in harmony. Yung first medela ko,naiwan sa pinas kaya napabili tuloy ako ng bago, when i gave birth in the hospital, i borrowed their breastpump, then after using their medela electric pump, naiwan yung bottle withcover at funnel, i asked the nurse sabi akin nalang daw, tuwa naman ako

^you may mix the expressed milk basta same temp na sila. So pump ka muna, put it in the fridge, pump again and put the second one in the fridge. You may put them in one container after 2-3 hours

^yung bebeta milk containers, medyo mura lang sis. check mo sa sm or landmark. okay naman quality niya.

Thanks for this info! May 2 akong expressed milk na balak ipainom kay baby, same temp na sila so pwede ko na pagsamahin pala.

Mga mommies, how many times do you wash the horns of your pump? After every pump or everyday? How about pag sterilize? Kasi i wash the horns everyday tapos last banlaw with distilled water. Then sterilize it every 2 days, im not sure kung enough na yun to be totally clean. Thanks!

Ordered the allegro kasi i start working nightshift next week na. Good luck sa akin. At least my employer said i could use the infirmary to pump. Nag worry ako that i'll have to resort to pumping in the bathroom kung walang lactation station.

^^ sis ako every after use wash ko, pag nasabay siya na magssterlize ako ng bottles sterlize ko rin siya pero madalas bago ko gamitin, babad ko saaglit sa boiled water.

^^you mean after mo i-thaw yung frozen milk or after lang i-warm yung milk? Ako kasi i dont freeze, fridge lang yung pumped milk then i warm the milk by placing it in a bowl of warm water. I give it to my baby after mga 5 minutes or minsan she drinks it cold.

at how many weeks kayo sis nakabuild ng stash ng expressed milk? ngayon kasi feeling ko naghahabol ako kay baby, lumakas kasi sya magfeed. example tulog sya so i pump mga 40z. pagkagising nya ito na iinumin nya so wala na ulit ako extra. hindi ko pa nasubukan magpump every 2 hrs, iniisip ko palang pero parang natatakot akong di ko kayanin. i direct feed most of the time kasi im home lang naman pero gusto ko makaipon para pag may errand may maiiwan akong milk. 1 month na pala si baby

Hi everyone! Merry Christmas! Newbie here. I find this thread SUPER HELPFUL especially to new moms like me. Nag-backread talaga ako kahit sa mga first 2 parts.

My baby boy is now 6 weeks old and I'm getting ready to start pumping kasi though SAHM ako right now, I will need to go job hunting by January kaya need na din ni baby na mag-train sa bottle kahit paunti unti. Direct feeding sya until now. I got an Avent single electric pump. Ask ko lang, anong klase ng cleanser/dishwashing liquid ang ginagamit nyo pang wash ng pump parts and your babies' bottles? Gagamit kasi sana ako ng Joy Antibacterial kaya lang nakita ko bigla sa manual ng Avent to not use antibacterial cleansers. What cleanser's best to use? ok na ba yung mga ordinary dishwashing liquid? Avent din ang feeding bottles na nabili namin.

Sobra akong lost ngayon sa mga bottles kasi di naman kinailangan until now. Appreciate your response TIA!

^nagstart ako magbuild ng stash ko nung nag 4 weeks na si baby. i pump one in the morning, yung pagkagising talaga, minsan sa dami, nagleleak na, so i have to pump, then another one sa lunch time, then one in the afternoon and last one before going to bed. so total i have 4 stash every day. 2 of those, ginagamit ng mommy ko to feed her sa madaling araw. then yung natitirang dalawa, kapag umaalis alis ako sa bahay. but in between those pumping session, nag didirect feed pa si baby sa akin...

i put those stash sa ref. naka-maximum temperature yung ref namin. i arranged it in a way na hindi ako malilito, last one out lagi. yung pinaka luma na ni-pump ko, yun ang nilalabas ko. basta pila pila yung mga breastmilk sa ref. nakakatawa daw sabi ni mommy, para daw akong nagbebenta ng milk. 
pero i havent tried putting it in the freezer, kasi naman, every 2 days, 3 days max lang yung mga milk ko sa ref...=)

^sis if you dont mind me asking nakakailang oz ka per pump session? tapos ilang hours after you direct feed ka nagpupump?
ayoko mag give up mag bf pero parang nadidiscourage na ako kasi feeling ko hina ng milk ko. if baby latches every 3-4 hrs, kelan kaya ako pwde mag pump? ngayon kasi may times din na after an hour of feeding, gutom ulit sya

^yung right breast ko average is 4-5oz, yung left mahina, 2-3oz lang. Kaya i can get as much as 8oz per pump. Yan yung early morning. Ipalatch mo lang si baby anytime you want, kahit before and after pumping. Ganun ako, pero mas prefered ko magpump after bf baby, para madrain yung milk mo sa breast. Then after 3-4hours pump ulit ako, mas konti nga lang napupump ko during daytime, ave is 6oz lang...

^ay ingit much naman ako sa napapump mo sis ako kasi pag nakapump ng 4oz halos magtatalon na ako sa tuwa.. tinatry ko na magpump every two hours kaso natatalo ako ng antok minsan at sa dami ng ginagawa.. nakakaligtaan ko na..

^pumping often will really help you increase your supply. also make sure na okay yung gamit mong pump. else, it will really lessen your supply. i remember when i use avent. my supply lessened talaga. now that i'm back to my hiyang na brand (unimom), my supply is okay. i get about 28-34oz daily. i'm an almost exclusively pumping mother.

Is anyone here working night shift? I started working and i pump 3x per shift. My shift is 10pm-7am and i pump for 15 mins only, both breasts na. I only get 2oz and nakakastress isipin. Cause some of u can pump 3-4oz PER breast. I don't know if it's just my pump or baka ganun talaga supply ko? My 4mo daughter is thriving naman... Help
