sorry missing in action... i'm using Spectra for almost 7 months na, ok naman sya for me though I think baka kailangan na ng cleaning. matiba dahil nakailang bagsak na ito sa kin hehe! mag 10 months of EBF na si baby kaya sulit na sulit ito sa kin

sis kaice, i bought a unimom double electric dahil medyo di ko ganun kahiyang yung avent. i think it's the horn eh, doesn't fit me much. now i'm back on my usual pumping output. so happy

^i'm thinking of that too... kasi our boobies changed na.. di na ganun ka engorged but i'm collecting same amount naman pero i need to do breast compression nga lang. better sana kung hindi na.. i tried the breastflow na parang silicon yung nipple pero mas lalo akong walang output. for emergency lang naman yun if i need to travel for long hours lang kasi battery operated

^sabi naman ni babymama, mas malakas daw ang suction ng spectra. it's just that my old pump na hiyang ko is unimom kaya yun na lang kinuha ko. i also bought a pigeon na battery operated but haven't tried it yet pa. for training purpose naman sya sa akin.

aww, natapunan ako ng 5bags of frozen BM (3-4oz each). pagdating ko from work, ang linis ng ref, nagdefrost pala, di na namin alam kung may natunaw na ba dun sa 5bags, kaya discard na lang lahat, para din sa safety ng tyan ni baby. nakaka-sad lang..

^hindi ba pwede yun muna pagamit kay baby for today? 24hrs naman from being thawed eh..

^ hi sis, monday pa daw nagdefrost, at frozen na ulit (if ever na-thaw man cya).

^ay sayang nga. parang may nabasa akong post dati na pwede naman yun but di ko na mahanap eh.

pag partially defrost daw pero may ice pa rin, pwede pa naman daw yun lalo na yung mga na transport basta bulk eh ice pa rin..


question: meron ba ditong nakabili ng tote kay babymama? plan to request it for Kris Kringle eh.. ok ba ang quality?

^ di kase namin alam kung ilang % ang natunaw. saka nabasa ko din ay dine-discourage ang pag-refreeze dahil magbuildup dw ang bacteria. sabi din ni hubby better safe than sorry.

To those who are using unimom forte, ano po bang bottles ang compatible dito? Regular ones or wide neck? I have avent and dr brown bottles. tia

^avent regular and natural hindi compatible sa forte. Not sure about DB. Kaya ang ginagawa ko from the pump container i-transfer ko sa avent via cups. Pero i also asked my husband to buy breastmilk container from babymama, yun local lang pero sakto siya sa forte even sepctra. Pigeon din pala meron breastmilk storage na kasya din sa forte.

^^merong converter for avent sis, kasya naman sa mga wide neck. but not so sure about dr. browns. i use the converter to avoid salin salin. but kapag naubusan na, salin salin na talaga.

^^the pump connects to standard size bottles but there is a wide neck adaptor for unimom pumps being sold by babymama. The adaptor is good for avent and pigeon wide neck bottles.

For mommies using allegro, how many times a day do you pump? Would it be ok to use it 3x a day?

2nd hand lang pump ko from my SIL. Medela brand.

alam ko hindi nag aaccept ng for service ang medela house pag hindi binili sa kanila. tama ba?

paano ko kaya ma sterilize ito?

^only the horns can be sterilized and it's good to go.

^^i used my allegro for about 8months but nung nabagsak ni baby ko nasira na. too bad mine was the older model kaya di na marepair. i got an avent double electric and another unimom double electric as replacement. i prefer unimom. yung double electric na kinuha ko para mas matibay and matagal gamitin.

^thank you! I messaged babymama and she said ok naman daw allegro but not recommended for double pumping. Ok lang ba kung gamitin ko yung allegro for work? I plan on pumping at least 3x a day at work sana. I like forte kaya lang nabibigatan ako and i dont know kung may outlet for the pump..

^yung performance ng allegro sis is better when plugged in than in battery sis. for the old model, double pumping is okay. it worked well for me before but yun nga, nahulog kasi ng bongga ng baby ko kaya tuloy nag-graduate ng di oras LOL check mo na lang din baka pwede may mapaghanapan ka ng may outlet. sayang naman kasi. spectra and unimom are both good brands.
