Im using unimom allegro, i started pumping just today and i pumped 2oz in 40 minutes, so parang an oz per breast.. I think its not bad, kasi newborn babies sa 1st week mga 1 to 2 oz per feed ang na cconsume

yung bottle nung pump ko binabanlian ko lang din and i use the same for the next pumping session. i use a clean cloth, minsan tissue to dry. pero better ngang air dry lang.

another question mga sis which parts of the unimom allegro should be washed only and which should be sterilized? i got my order na from babymama although di ko pa naman gagamitin pa sa ngayon. thanks

i'm using the first years electric pump, a hand-me down from my SIL. i tried pumping milk when my baby turned 2 mos. old. so far i was able to get 5 oz. of bm last week. eto na yung pinakamarami. i hope that i get to pump more bm cuz i'm going back to work in a week. need to save bm when that time comes so my baby won't ever use formula.

I'll have a small can of formula as back-up soon. I think ok pa naman supply ko as I can leave around 20-24 oz of BM a day for the usual 10-12 hours that am away from baby. But because peak season na and prone na for delays ang flights namin, baka 14-16 hours na ako mahiwalay kay baby. The 24 oz of milk won't be enough for my baby. Even though I wake up in the wee hours of the morning, baka hindi na kayanin. Sana lang talaga wag maapektuhan ang supply ko. Sisipagin pa rin naman ang pagpupump.

^si baby K din, ang hina mag milk lately though malakas naman mag solids pero dalawang araw na ko natatapunan ng milk habang nagpa-pump, una naloose yung bottle sa flange tapos yung isa nakatulog ako habang nagpapapump haha! nakakiyak na nakakainis sa sarili hehe!

sis kaice, i shipped my pump to babymama talaga, nakatulog ka? Super pagod mo na siguro. si baby j din, malakas na magsolids pero milk tama lang to get by the day. but he drinks more when its freshly expressed. kaya ngayon i added another pumping time as soon as i woke up kasi nga mas marami syang naiinom kapag bagong bago. kaya nya ubusin yung 7oz in one drinking! pero kung hindi fresh, 3-5oz lang.

Sa work kasi hindi possible na magevery 2 hours ako mapump dahil depende kung busy sa flight. So sa 10 hours duty ko, mga 4x siguro. One pagka dating sa work, once or twice pag asa flight,tapos after the flight, which is usally after mga 5-6hours, ayun nakaka8oz to 9oz na ako nakakapump.. Oo nga eh ang lakas na magmilk ni baby Zoey, nagagalit daw minsan kahit 4oz na yung asa bote. Kung hindi lang naman kasi madedelay ang flights, enough lang palagi yung mapupump ko.

Grabe sis kaice, natulugan mo ang pagpupump. Manual lang kasi sa akin, kaya kelangan gising na gising.

^tyaga mo sis with manual. i also pump 4x at work but i dont get as much even at 5-6hrs. i'm still learning the use of my avent double electric eh. i'm getting there.

haha! kaya nga biglang gising ako dahil nasayangan ako sa milk hehe! sa sobrang busy ko 2x a day pumping na lang ako:( pero buti na lang eh surviving naman kami bawi din kasi sa gabi, ayaw humiwalay sa kin ni baby K. pero unlike baby J and baby K, mataba si baby Z hehe! lean ang babies natin iristacey

My baby is just 4w old. And we're exclusively bfeeding. Nagpupump ako but usually less than 2oz lang pump ko. Which is a better strategy, pump before direct feeding or vice versa?

^ congrats for EBF but 4 weeks is too early to pump, some say wait at least 6-8 weeks to establish milk supply. don't expect large amount of milk yet cause you produce milk depending on your baby's needs.

to answer your question, pump first before feeding but most of the time when my baby wants to feed while i'm pumping, one breast is being pump while the other feeds her... i get a good amount since let down is faster when stimulated by baby's sucking

oo nga sis kaice.  lean babies naten. naku i wish nga marami magdrink ng milk si baby J kasi marami akong napamigay na milk sa pamangkin ko dahil di naman siya malakas magmilk and gusto niya yung bago. i added another pump schedule in the morning which caused me to have excess bm.

^ wow buti ka pa may spare haha! ako lagi naghahabol   kasi naman 2x a dayl ang ako minsan mag pump. buti ok pa supply... at nakakatulog na nga ako sa pag pmup minsan... wala akong extra stash. what i pump today eh for drinking tomorrow kaya wala na kong labels whatsoever kasi lahat yun fresh

^hay naku sis kaice, when i say fresh, i mean it's really just been pumped. like yung napump ko ng 530AM will be used on his feeding at 630 to 8AM, whenever he will take his first short nap. baby ko kasi likes to drink milk only when sleepy eh. he usually gets up the same time as I do. yun ang mas type nya inumin. kaya i really have to make it a point na magpump sa umaga. last month lang namin nadiscover yun. then he just had the most amount of milk drank for a day when bago nga milk. kulet.
