Hi mga sis. parang first timer ulit ako sa breastfeeding kasi sa 2nd  baby ko di ako nag pa BF , sa 1st sanadali lang. need your help mga sis

possible ba ang direct feeding lang without the help of pumps kung 24/7 naman ako kasama ng babies ko ( i'm having twin by the way) kayanin kaya? pero sabi nga ng friend ko di daw ako makakalabas pag puro direct feed so di ako pwede mawalay sa kanila. I'm scared of pumps kasi lalo yun suction di ba parang mag sa sag at lalaki nipples ko dun? Plan ko kasi is try ko mag direct feed observe ko kung kaya  saka na lang ako buy ng pumps.

ang mahal pala ng pumps. which brand is better medela or avent in terms of efficacy, convenience, boobie friendly yun di masakit?  double or single?

^ If you are a stay-at-home mom, you do not really need a breast pump.  But I think you should still buy one just so you can store.  In the early weeks, bountiful ang supply ng milk lalo na you are carrying twins (I also had twins).  It's a good idea to store milk for when you go out nga.

My main pump was the Avent Isis Duo, a double electric pump.  I also used the Medela Pump in Style Advanced, which is also a double electric pump.  Sa mga tulad nating twins ang mga anak, mas sulit talaga ang double pump because it saves a lot of time.  Both of them naman gentle sa breasts and efficient magkuha ng milk.  Mas malakas ang suction ng Medela pero parang mas gusto ko ang Avent.

Sad to say, breasts sag because of gravity and ageing.  Pumping may be a factor, but it is not the main factor for sagging (so is breastfeeding).   I always wear a bra with underwire nowadays.  I don't mind at all kasi hindi naman ganoon kagrabe ang sagging and hindi naman ako bold star na puhunan ang boobs sa hanapbuhay.

thanks alot marose:) glad to hear inputs sa gaya mong may twins din. I'm a stay at home mom na pero kung iisipin kailangan ko nga talaga mag pump kasi mag eerrands at mag errands pa din ako outside the house like going to the bank, grocery na hindi ko naman sila pwede isama, so better to store pa din. 

So parang mas gentle pala avent? May medela freestyle pero parang ayoko kasi hands free parang lalo nakakasag ng boobs, ayaw ni hubby nun hehe.

ano ang proper way ng pag store ng breastmilk sa ref?

i am building the nursery ang lalagyan ko ng small ref para mas convenient at yun lang talaga ang nakalagay

Sisses, when you sterilize your pump and storage bottles, do you dry before using or okay Lang gamitin kahit may droplets of water?

I use them dry na, since Meron dryer ang sterilizer ko. Then what I do is put the horns in the ref for my next use para I don't have to wash and wash them then sterilize paulit ulit

Mga sis, im going to have my 2nd baby.. Sa 1st ko mix feeding ako and dko masyado nagamit breast pump ko.i used tommee tippee manual.. Sa totoo lang parang nahirapan ako sa manual.. Hindi ako makapag decide kung mag electric pump na ba ako or manual padin. Ag mahal kasi ng electric..
And do you think ok lang bumili ng 2nd hand ma pump?

My sterilizer is the looney tunes brand, it's not as high end as the Avent etc but it's great since after sterilizing automatic dryer naman. it's around 3plus K. It could fit around 7 bots. Avent bots can fit.

Mahirap talaga to use manual pump, I suggest you invest in a double electric pump nalang, a little expensive compared to the manual but then when you don't buy formula same Lang din. I think baby mama is selling at 6k Lang, [textspeak!] spectra umm regarding sa buying used pump, personally ako I wouldn't buy a used one but then if sure ka naman na it's working well pa plus walang sakit the mom who used it, okay Lang

^^think of it this way: buying an electric pump is MUCH BETTER and CHEAPER than buying formula milk. compute how much you'll be spending in a month from buying formula, and that's aside from the water pa ng baby and all the effort magtimpla in the middle of the night.

sis cocoyow, okay lang naman to use other brand of pump. go to babymama.ph. she has hospital grade pumps that are cheaper. you just need to buy a converter, in case you want to use wide neck bottles.

I pumped for 12 minutes earlier... I only got 0.5oz for both breasts... My baby is 3 weeks old. Hopefully mas madami nakukuha si baby.
