@phatgirl : Sis, as suggested by the others here, you can try homebased jobs. Try odesk & elance (both are legit sites). If you have a hobby na pwedeng pagkakakitaan, pwede rin yun. Kahit na parang di magandang pakinggan, you must learn how to make "kupit" from hubby's income, too. Disiplina lang sa sarili and be discreet about your secret resources para di umabot sa point na papakialaman ni hubby mo your earnings to support his luho. Sabihin na nating he deserved those little luxuries kasi siya ang breadwinner pero kung sumusobra naman at the expense of the family's basic needs, di na pwede yun. Set aside a little something for emergency. Money is power, di ka makakilos pag wala kang pera and di maganda yung lagi nalang umaasa sa iba. Magtabi kalang kahit konti. A little something will go a long long way.

All I can say, batuhin man ako --  women are capable of so much more.  We do not compress our potential with mga ka-artehan or irresponsible-ness ng tulad ng mga ibang guys.  Kya minsan, nanghihinayan ako why some  women choose to  lie low.  As in, kaya! to go out and conquer the world; pero:   ay hwag na lang kasi ayaw in hubby, walang mag alaga  sa mga anak, etc etc etc. Tapos bottom-line, hindi naman contento with their situation.

Yes, Life is hard.  It is hard, que may  pera ka or sobra  pera mo.  Nagkakaiba iba lang problems, concerns & challenges; but Life is hard for everyone.

BUT we were all born equal to be unequal... Someone said that,  I just forgot who ( Hindi naman ako si Sotto ha, hehe)
Meaning, so what are you gonna do about it?  About Life, what are you gonna do?
One must move from thinking: Life is hard..to:  Life is challenging.

Times are different now.  No choice but to adapt, or be miserable.
KUNWARI, a husband is not porseguido -- kahit todo todo support a wife gives, hopia pa rin.
What is a wife to do?  But punuan ang pagkukulang.  Imbes na maubos energy mo katutulak, spend your energies on positioning yourself to advance your family.

Frequently, we see/hear/know of women nawawalan ng husband - na viuda or abandon, or the husband becomes inutil/incapable of working --  they gather their strength & do not let their kids down. Kelangan ba mawalan ng asawa for a woman to show what she's made of and capable of accomplishing?
And even if your husband can very well provide for his family, a woman still owes it to herself to accomplish for herself.  Hindi como nag asawa ka eh your dreams are no longer worth pursuing, that you must never outshine your hubby.

The best way a woman can take care of herself is to make her own money.
Even if the madres of Assumption demand I return my GS & HS diplomas, this I gotta say: It is Money that makes the world turn, not Love. It is Money that gives a person A Voice. The more money one has, the louder one can speak, the more people listen.  Why do you think lots support the Lotto outlets, hehe.
Lols, walang salbaheng in-laws sa makapal ang wallet, generally.

So, be brave & kapalan ang mukha. Dream big, not just of meeting your budgets.

Pray for Divine Guidance.

I just want to make correction here that having money is not happiness pero that is the real necessity in life. Totoo na hindi ka mabubuhay kung wala kang pera. But then the money can't buy happiness. Unless if that is how you define it at all.

Kasi kung ganyan talagang hirap tumira na kasama sila because of being pakialameras.

^ true, Money can't buy you happiness. I agree.

But, having money gives you more/better chances at being happy.
It makes it easier to keep body & soul together; diminishes any kapit-sa-patalim scenario. :).
It frees parents for more quality time for family (should, really)
it can afford you more chances to distract yourself from what you cannot change/avoid/must live.
It's like air, water, food, clothing & shelter -- a necessity, as PURPLE POWER mentioned.
Adults may get by for sometime living off OPM (other people's money) - but eventually, the need for self-determination & self-expression drives one to make one's own money.

And as my mom likes to say when 1 of us girls have a crisis: At least, you are suffering  in comfort.
Arrrggghhhh. But, really - hahaha

Iba na kasi yung sariling sikap and aiming high -- yon ang hanap ni TS sa hubby nya, even if his family is generous to them.

Princess Chill - Pagdating sa food sis, wag mo tipirin sarili mo. Baka kase health mo naman maging at risk. Dont worry, I'm sure magbubunga din lahat ng sacrifices nyo. I salute you for standing by your husband all the way :)
