Hi, i have read from the website, one of the ways to get to USS is by means of a shuttle bus for foreigners/tourists that goes to orchard vicinity free of charge, i just have to show my passport and embarkation card, me ganyan ba talaga? ^Sis, if you are into arts, you may roam around Tiong Bahru Estate.  Marami galleries around.  Meron din Books actually which is an indie bookstore.  Not your regular bookstore.  These places are not the touristy family oriented thing.  Its more for the hip and indie crowd. 

Along tiong bahru, try the ff:

1.  Books actually
2.  Orange Timble coffee shop (art + coffee combined)
3.  Tiong Bahru Bakery

Aside from Tiong Bahru, don't also miss the Singapore Art Museum.  I noticed every sunday, they offer free entrance (and National Singapore Museum as well, a must for those tourist who are after the cultural experience). 

Likewise, Andy Warhol exhibit is FREE located at Art and science museum in Marina Bay sands.  When we went to Andy Warhol one sunday, I was expecting to pay but it was free entrance, just present an image (cellphone or camera) of yourself posing in one of the memorabilia located at the entrance.

PrettyBarbie: yung Sentosa's Festive Hotel me Family room with King bed, bunkbed and sofa bed, we'll be a party of 6 kaya hirap ako maghanap ng hotel na iba, di ko pa kabisado sneak in sa singapore kung mabilis lang hehe first time pa lang namin.

Hi mga sis. nakabook na ako sa SEA Hotel at tatanong ko lang kung may naka experience na dito ng sneak in ng bata?

At isa pa, may alam ba kayong nagpaparent ng apartment type na short term? gusto ko kasi sana isama yung anak ko at lola nya eh sept 20 na yung flight namin. gusto ko sana sila ihabol ng booking ng flight.

^Sis mahirap ata magsneak in ng bata sa SEA Hotel. Kitang kita kasi agad nung uncle na nagbabantay bawat pumapasok hehe. Parang maliit na corridor kasi yung dadaanan mo before makarating dun sa area ng mga rooms hehe.

^Ay oo nga sis, punuan na pag F1. Malapit na kasi eh. Ilan ba kayo total? Maybe you can ask SEA Hotel first kung kaya pa i-accommodate .

^^why don't you try daily hdb rentals.  Mas maganda pa.  No more restrictions like what SEA hotel has.

Joining...will be in SG by Oct 25 - 29. Booked SEA Hotel already. Transferred na ba Cebu pac flights in Changi? Late night kasi dating namin so we might stay muna in the transit hotels at Changi.

we didn't avail sis. expired na kasi yung deal nung nakapagdecide kami. hehe. makikisuyo sana ako sa kakilala ko sa SG na ibook kami. kaya lang, ayun nga, deal's over na. baka nga punuan yan pag sa Sept 16. sa 1st week of Nov pa naman kami

i have a prob.. nagtanong kasi ako sa friend ko na taga airport sa sg kung pwede magiwan ng luggage kasi 1pm pa check in time namen and 10am ang arrival namen, sabe nya wala daw ganun sa budget terminal since via TigerAirways kame pero ive read somewhere dito na may service na ganun ang Changyi airport.. mejo naguguluhan ako e.

^Pwde sis.  Sa basement one ng lahat ng Changi terminal  (T1, T2, T3) merong "Left Baggage".   

For S$4.50 pwede ka magiwan ng luggage for 24 hours.  We always do that sa mga bisita ko dito sa bahay para while waiting for their night or afternoon flight, pwede pa sila mamasyal.
