hi mga sis! we are booked at budget hostel singapore. meron kasing nagrecommend dito sa GT dati. Do you still recommend it? hehe. baka lang kasi hindi na ganun kaganda ngayon. if ever, would you know any hostel that has a 3 persons accommodation? tia po uli!

Ay, sorry.  MBS is Marina Bay sands.  And meron sila daily show pag napanood mo na to, hindi na exciting ang Songs of the sea kasi laser light, fire and water show din sya pero free.

Sis saan kaya magandang pwesto for the light show? Di ko din to napanood last year.  Pag sa Merlion side ka or sa may Esplanade makikita ng maayos?

if you want to watch the show itself, punta kayo sa Event Plaza located behind the 'The Shoppes' / retail area. kapag gusto nyo makita yung laser light effects, don sa Makansutra or bandang Merlion mas okay manood

Sis, sa MBS ka mismo .. yung parang plaza nila doon overlooking fullerton bay, merlion and esplanade.  Doon mismo ang light show, with fire.  Yung lights na mangagaling sa tuktok ng marina bay sands hotel.. visible naman sya sa mga tourist sa kabilang side which is merlion, fullerton, esplanade. 

I suggest doon kayo sa labas ng MBS shoppes mismo for the fire, laser show.  For the lights naman na mas malayuan maganda, next time nalang pag kumain kayo sa makansutra.

Isa lang yung show sa MBS, yung wonderfull show.  However, while watching the water, fire light show sa labas ng MBS shoppes, hindi mo makikita yung effects ng light coming from the tower of MBS.  Mas maappreciate yung lights coming from the tower ng malayuan.  Thus, kung lights lang ang gusto mo makita for better picture opp ng Marina Bay Sands, sa esplanade, merlion ka dpat nakapwesto.

However, since malayo ka sa marina bay sands, hindi mo makikita yung actual show. 

To make is simpler, buong marina bay sands may light effects during the show.  If you want a beautiful picture with MBS as a whole, antayin ang light show sa esplanade or merlion or fullterton.

If you want naman to watch the actual show (yung fire, water, lights), head doon sa labas ng marina bay sands shoppes

^Thanks sis! nagets ko na. tama dun na lang muna sa my tabi ng the shoppes then next time yung laser show. would you know if the lights show and laser show (view) will not be suspended during F1 season? last year kasi sinali namin sa iti namin ito kaso sa sobrang pagod at tutok sa race di na namin naharap. although we get to roam around the race track that time including dun sa may bridge connecting the merlion side and the Esplanade side, we did not notice laser lights from the MBS. pwedeng hindi kami sumakto sa oras or suspended kaya?

sissies, i've read na mas maganda magpabili nga SG tourist pass sa locals kasi 20SGD lang for 3 days. ilan kaya pwede bilhin ng locals? do they have any limit ba? kasi paprequest na alng ako sa SGbased friend ko to but Tourist passes para sa 5 people.

Hi sisses! We arrived here in sg last friday.  since friday maganda ang weather. Not that humid and no rain at all. I hope that will continue until tuesday. 
Aug 17: we arrived in sg at 2:30pm then we checked in at the holiday inn hotel orchard at 4pm. I love this hotel so much. Our room is so nice and we were given free in room wifi. The breakfast buffet is so good too!  we did a little shopping at 313 somerset. Bought a lot if stuff for my dad, hubby and bros here. I also bought a few tops for myself at 10sgd. Men's tops are for 15sgd each. We had dinner at no signboard seafood esplanade. As usual their food is great! We paid a total of 300sgd for 5pax. We had cereal prawns, chili and buttered crabs, noodles, yangchow fried rice, scallops, coffee pork ribs, mantou bread and fruit juices.  then siympre photo ops at mbs, merlion and sg flyer. I love the mbs light show! 

Aug 18: i bought a lot of cute stuff for my daughter at h&m. Imagine 186sgd puro for her lang. I just bought 1 top for myself. Wala din kasi ako mashado type na top dun.  we also shopped at bossini, cotton on, uniqlo and candylicious. We had lunch at taste paradise. Best dimsum ever!  super love the custard bun. We paid for 85sgd for 4pax. Then we went to marina square, citylink mall and raffles city mall. We had ben & jerry's ice cream ay raffles city mall for merienda and dinner at wee nam kee hainanese chicken rice at marina square. I love the hainanese chicken rice there! Total of 30sgd for 3pax kasi we also ordered dumplings soup and veggies. Sarap then we went to makasuntra gluttons bay, daming tao dito and mukhang yummy din food. Then we went to rooftop terrace at esplanade. Super tiring but super enjoy talaga.

We had lunch at din tai fung paragon mall and dinner at jumbo seafood restaurant clark quay.  super yummy as always!  super daming pinoys sa lucky plaza and outside takashimaya kasi sunday pala ngayon. Feeling ko kanina nasa pinas ako. Hehe dami rin tao sa clark quay kasi long weekend din dito. I bought lv bag at ion mall today. Pinay yung nag assist sa akin kakatuwa!  sulit narin because of the gst refund. So happy!

^yes sis we have reservations. You have to reserve talaga kasi kung hindi super tagal ang waiting time. 
We went to uss yesterday. Daming tao kasi holiday but tolerable naman yung queue sa rides and shows except for the transformers. 2.5hrs amg waiting time kaya hindi na kami pumila. Sayang nga eh pero over kasi talaga. Hehe we had snack at goldilocks in uss then
Dinner at chilis. Sarap ng chicken sa goldilocks.  we ate ben & jerry's ice cream too. 
this afternoon na flight namin back to manila. Back to reality again.
