^ hi sis, di naman Public Holiday yung dates na yun so no worries.. though syempre if weekend niyo plan pumunta .. expect na marami talagang tao... never naman nawalan ng crowd sa USS.

hello ulet, tanong ko lang po kung yung underwaterworld at dolphin lagoon ay nasa isang lugar lang? may nakikita kasi ako sa sentosa map na nakahiwalay yung dolphin lagoon.  hindi ko lang alam kung yun ba?

okay pa ba ang underwater world puntahan? may ticket na kami. nakuha namin sa isang group buying site. bale, roundtrip cable car + entrance + underwaterworld + dolphin lagoon + snacks ang composition niya. cost is $ 39.50. nagdadalawang isip kami nung una na mag-underwater world dahil parang hindi na yata maganda ang feedback don tapos ang mahal pa. pero since nakita namin ito, and makaka-save kami kaya in-avail namin sya.

gusto ko lang malaman kung magkalapit lang po yung dalawa.  thanks in advance!

^sa pagkakatanda ko sis, magkalayo sya. sumakay pa yata kami ng shuttle bus non. maliit lang yong underwater world, mas malaki pa yong manila ocean park. saka sayang lang oras nyo don sa dolphin show, mas marami pang sinabi yong host kesa sa show. sa inis ko nga di ko na tinapos kasi sobrang init, tapos may mga walang paki pa sa harap mo na magpapayong so wala ka ng makikita. IMO, mas masaya pa yong dolphin show sa ocean adventure

We're planning to go SG early next year, ilang days ba ang ideal para masulit ang vacation namin at magawa lahat ng pwedeng gawin? and any idea which airlines offers the cheapest fare to SG? tia

@ms.rain, parang magkatabi na lang yung dolphin lagoon at underwater world. Early last year kami nagpunta dun. Di ko lang po sure ha pero pag exit mo ng underwater world, konting lakad lang yung sa dolphin lagoon eh. Tama si sis rocky, mas maganda pa ang show sa ocean adventure sa subic.

Sis msrain, for me ok naman ang underwater world. Nag enjoy naman ako dun.  pero yung dolphin show, hindi ako naaliw eh. Parang pinilit lang na may dolphin show and hindi cute mga dolphins nila. Hehe, 

Sis yezzi, for me 5 days in sg is enough.  you can check out cebu pac, tiger airways and jetstar airways for promo fares to sg.

i havent been to the ocean world in Manila so hindi ko macocompare yun with the one in Sentosa but enjoy naman yung sa Sentosa na Underwater World.. though parang maliit lang siya when compared sa mga pics na nakikita ko sa net, posters, advertisements, etc (dun lang ako medyo nadisappoint)..
Yung Dolphin Show, I must say mas gusto ko yung sa Subic.. I don't know.. mas fun and interactive kasi yung sa Subic last time we watched kaya mas enjoy.. at saka parang mas matalino yung Dolphins sa pinas ata... hehe

hi mga sis, will be in SG din this sat, Aug 18-20. May nabasa akong mga kasabay, sa 19 din kami USS. May promo nga pala sis para sa mastercard holders. Nakapagbook kami, 60sgd lang per person for 1-day USS pass plus entrance to the Maritime Museum. Malaki savings tapos di pa kelangan pumila.

Here's our draft itinerary pala, pa comment please mga sis. We are a group of 5 adults.

Day 1, Saturday:

Leaving Manila around 6:00am. Leave luggage at Value Hotel Balestier. Tour Sentosa/Songs of the Sea and dinner at Glutton's Bay- mga sis what else can you suggest? ayaw namin ng bird park and night safari. hindi kasi kami into nature. hehe

Day 2, Sunday:

Given na Sunday, leave early for USS. Tapos USS whole day. - Suggestions for dinner? yung mura lang kasi budget trip. Hehe

Day 3, Monday:

Check out, leave luggage at hotel.

City Tour: Esplanade, Merlion, MBS, Singapore Flyer, Orchard - hindi ko alam kung ano dapat pagkakasunod sunod para ma maximize yung time. And san pala banda yung golden mile complex? Babalik pa kasi kami sa balestier and we are leaving for KL ng 11:30pm via Starmart bus. And meron kaya kami matatambyan na malapit where we can charge our cameras?

Additional Questions:

1.) How much estimated transpo for 3 full days for bus/train rides?
2.) how much average cost per meal per person?

Singapore flyer is passe.  MBS is much higher and offers better view.  Kahit skip nyo na yung Singapore flyer.  Yung mga bisita ko dito, hindi nila type yung singapore flyer after nila masakyan.

Sis yellow bell, on harbour front station, look for "Food Republic Beer Garden".  Mga hawker sya na mura lang at masarap.  May banda pa sa gabi at pwede mag inuman.

1.  Buy the Ezlink for tourist - Singapore Tourist Pass.  Kung may kilala kayo na local, pass for three days is SGD20 lang.  Which is sulit since magagamit nyo talaga sya sa lahat ng transportation means within SG.  But if you will be presenting passport, then 30SGD sya.  Worth it pa rin for 3 days stay.  Take note na nasa 1.60SGD ang one way sa single MRT line, pag nag two MRT lines ka in single entry, its almost 2.20 one way.  So for 10SGD a day, mura na sya. 

2.  It depends on your type of meal.  If murang hawker, there's 2.50SGD hainanese chicken meal plus 1.60SGD ice lemon tea.  So that's 5sgd per meal.  Since you are on vacation, why not allot mga SGD10 per meal kung hawker or sa food court mall kayo kakain. 

I would suggest you try 4 fingers in ION food court along Orchard road.  Masarap sya and two drumsticks plus rice is 8.90SGD

Thanks sis xtine, I'll take note of your suggestions. Sige i'll allot 10sgd per meal sa budget namin para di naman sobrang tipid. hehe. Yung SG flyer, ittry na rin namin for the sake of experience.

some suggestions for itinerary.. para lang masulit

Day 1

Let's assume na nakacheck in na kayo ng around 12pm (lunch time..) you have around 7+ hours to tour Sentosa before the 1st show ng Songs of the Sea which is 7.40pm.. If gusto niyo talaga malibot yung Sentosa attractions.. the 6-7 hours is enough... depends.. im not sure what attractions you will visit there.. If sa tingin niyo sobra yung time.. why not go to Chinatown or Bugis muna to buy some cheap pasalubongs .. siguro eat lunch at one of the hawkers there then shopping/window shopping na rin till about 2 or 3 pm(?) then head to Sentosa... you still have 3+ hours before the 7.40 pm Songs of the Sea Show.. (also remember na buy na agad ng tickets once you arrive.. depending on the day itself, minsan maaga maubos yung tickets..)

Dinner - you'll be in Gluttons by the Bay around 9 na.. since day 3 you'll be in City tour.. why not proceed to Clarke Quay after dinner ? ... Puro bars pala yun... or you can also try the Gmax.. there's some great views/ photo ops of MBS and Singapore river though..

Day 2

yes, Food Republic is a good option for nice and relatively cheap food.. also since you're staying pala at Value Hotel Balestier.. there's some nice hawker centres nearby Novena MRT and Thomson Road ( just walk towards your right paglabas ng hotel .. though medyo mahabang walk yun..) at Novena MRT naman meron mga foodcourts sa United Square (mall opposite the station) and Square 2 (yung mismong mall above the station)

Day 3

magkakatabi lang naman ang Singapore Flyer, MBS, Esplanade, Merlion.. Orchard will be another time.. set one place siguro in the morning and in the afternoon.. make prior enquiry at your hotel whether you can check out late (later than 2 pm) with no additional charge.. If not, I think ok naman sila na paiwan muna yung luggage then balikan niyo na lang.. (means checkout early in the morning, paiwan ng luggage then balikan niyo na lang sa gabi before magpunta ng Golden Mile..).. not sure saan pwede tumambay muna before you go to Golden Mile.. baka pwede naman kahit sa Hotel Lounge (?)... ask the hotel if it's okay..

Golden Mile Complex is near Lavender MRT.. pwede naman siya lakarin na lang.. if mag bus.. its 2 stops from the bus stop across Lavender MRT (Crawford Street)

wow! thanks so much sis chinkee! ipiprint ko yung post mo. hehe. thanks so much. nagpapalit pala ako ng 500 sgd sa bpi. kasya na kaya yun without shopping? nabook na yung USS so bale transpo, hotel, food and sg flyer at sentosa/songs of the sea tickets na lang. yung hotel each person is 79 sgd for 2 nights.

sis rocky, thanks! in-avail na rin kasi naman kc makaka-save naman kami. tsaka di naman kasi kami makapunta ng ocean adventure. so nag-compute ng lang ako ng cost of transpo at entrance sa ocean adventure vs. sa entrance fee ng underwater world since nandon na rin kami, so mas tipid pa din. ang important e makakita ng dolphins ang baby ko. hehe

nakapunta na rin ako sa manila ocean park at ocean park hk... so i'm sure maliliitan ako sa underwater world... pero for experience sake na lang din.

sis, may isa pa pala akong concern... magkano po ba rental ng stroller sa uss at singapore zoo? kasama ko kasi yung daughter ko ( 1 yr old and 10 months na sya )... she's super active and most of the time kapag lumalabas kami, ayaw niya sumakay sa stroller niya. so everytime we go to malls and other places, hindi na kami nagdadala kasi hassle lang... ngayon, pagdating sa SG, syempre, di ko alam kung kakayanin ng daughter ko ang 4 days straight na lakaran. so nagdadalawang isip ako kung dadalhin ko ba yung stroller niya o magre-rent na lang kami kapag kailangan.... baka kasi ang ending e ma-hassle lang din kami. what do you think po?  eto po pala ang itinerary namin for our trip on sept. 4 - 8. first and last day is wala na halos IT.

sept. 4 -  arrival at 5 pm / hotel check in / dinner at Makasuntra / Esplanade, MBS, Merlion ( ayos    na po ba ito ? ), etc.

sept. 5 - SG zoo / Orchard

sept. 6 - USS / songs of the sea

sept. 7 - sentosa / underwater world / chinatown or bugis for pasalubong

sept. 8 - go to airport for 10 AM flight

We are a total of 8 ( 7 adults and my daughter ) so pinag-iisipan ko kung walang stroller, take turns na lang kami sa pagbubuhat sa kanya kung mapagod man sya sa paglalakad.

Will there be strollers provided in the Park?
Strollers are available at Rentals, located at the right side of the park upon entry.
A single stroller is priced at S$10, a double stroller is priced at S$15.

Don't forget to watch the Wonderfull show sa MBS.  8PM sya and 11PM.  Mas maganda sya kesa sa Songs of the sea at libre pa.

Pag nadaan pala kayo ng any hawker try Tiong Bahru Pau's Char Siew.  Siopao sya na sobrang moist at one of the best siopao in Singapore. 

And Shao long bao ng Din Tai Fung.  Best Shao long bao here in singapore.
