Hi sisses!  aliw ba ang boardwalk from vivo city to resorts world? Last time kasi we took the sentosa express from vivo city to resorts world. This time i want to try the boardwalk naman sana para different experience.  we also have an option to take the free shuttle from concorde hotel in orchard road to uss kaso mas matagal eh mga 1 hr ang travel time. Thanks

ˆsis aliw ang boardwalk. ang ganda! we went there ng weekday morning so we have the place entirely to ourselves. saya lang. picture-worthy yung place. libre naman siya so why not diba?

^ libre ba siya sis? I thought may bayad na 1sgd when taking the boardwalk to resorts world. Nag boardwalk naman kami this time para may view and picture taking narin. Thanks sis

yes sis, free siya.. yung $1 is yung entrance fee for the Sentosa Island

sis esor ...sis diba nag punta na kayo ng SG saan kayo mag sstay sa Bugis?? yes sis kung may promo onti lang den ang difference, recent lang nag karoon ng promo ang Air Asia, buti na lang nakahabol kame, for 2 pax na roundtrip we paid P5,100, yung pabalik nila ang promo, pero kung siguro yung ppunta promo den baka mas less pa sa 5K... halos nung compute ko P1,500 difference lang so at least 1hr lang andun na kaysa mag bus na 6-8hrs ang byahe..

sa wakas natapos kuna den yung detailed DIY Trip para sa KL-SG ang sarap bumalik sa nakaraan

we'll be going back this August. May event/sale ba nun sa Singapore during that time? Nakaabot kame sa GSS this July. Also, if anyone knows, san maganda magparty sa clarke quay?hehe

mga sis, kasya na po ba ang 10k na pocket money for 3 days & 3 nights?
dalawa lang kami ng officemate ko pero per each naman yon.
bale, 1st day punta kami sentosa/Universal studios then 2nd day and 3rd day (half-day) eh open pa.
yung mga expenses sa airport eh excluded na po dun sa amount of kanina.

^ sa 10K kasama na ba diyan sis yung USS, accomodation, food and transpo?? ...if kaya pa makapag ipon, pwedeng 15K para meron ka pang excess sis.. x33-35 kasi ang money nila...

^^sis, i agree with sis purpleish. Pag included na sa 10k ang entrance tickets, baka kulangin ka sis. Medyo mahal mga bilihin sa sg eh. And siyempre kahit papano bibili ka rin dun kahit konti. Much better if 15k ang budget niyo each.

now now im curious sa itinerary namen.. help! and may beach area ang singapore. worth it ba mag-swimming? 4days naman kame eh. hehe!

oo nga if excluded na yung accomodation sa 10k i guess good to go pasobra nalang yung 5k kaya 15k na baunin mo.

^ sis, yung entrance fee sa universal studios included na dun lahat ng rides and shows.  regarding the beach in sg, sabi ng friend ko hindi naman daw maganda yung beach dun.

re beach: if may time lang kayo then pwede kayo magstroll either sa Sentosa (Palawan and Siloso Beach).. nandun din yung southernmost part of continental asia na bridge..

or sa may East Coast/Changi/Pulau Ubin... (Pulau Ubin, you need to take a boat ride, 30mins from changi ferry terminal).. Pulau Ubin is known for its mangroves and sort of marine sanctuary lalo na pag nag lowtide.. kita yung mga corals, starfish..

Pero so-so lang ang beaches sa Singapore, iba pa rin talaga sa Pinas.. and siguro yung mga nakapunta na sa Sentosa.. you would see that there's a lot of ships surrounding the area.. They are just filtering the water para malinis yung sa beach..of course it's safe pero man-made kasi halos lahat ng beach here...

If my family wants to have a short beach getaway, we go to Batam or Bintan (1hr ferry to Indonesia) or Desaru/Tioman (2-4hrs from SG to Malaysia)..

Pero kung swimming lang.. why not try yung swimming complex dito.. Jurong East Swimming Complex (Chinese Garden MRT) is one of the best (in terms of aesthetics) ..

Para na rin siyang splash island... may lap/olympic pool, lazy river,jacuzzi area, children's playground area (with water pa rin), wave pool and 3 giant slides.. the best part is entrance fee is from $0.80 - $2.00 lang!

magbaon na lang ng food or meron naman kfc and pizza hut dun tapos sa labas may hawker centre..

Also there's another similar which is Sengkang Swimming Complex.. (From Sengkang MRT, take Sengkang LRT to Farmway Station)

same rates din siya as for the jurong but medyo less yung mga features niya.. my brothers have been there sabi nila fun naman daw..

Question mga sis. What is the nearest hotel in USS? [textspeak!] kids friendly kasi I'll be with my 6 and 4 yrs old sons.. Kasi mag stop over lang kami from Australia going to Philippines. So gusto ko lang ma experience  ng mga kids ko ang USS.

^^sis, there are hotels in resorts world. You can choose among festive hotel, hotel michael and hard rock hotel. My cousins stayed at festive hotel and maganda naman feedback.  you can also check out www.rwsentosa.com
