I really hope na kumita ito para may sequel.  And sana in the future, mag appear si Spiderman sa Avengers, kahit cameo lang.  That's close to impossible to happening (kasi different studios own the rights to Spiderman and the other Avengers), pero mangangarap pa rin ako.

i loved it. but i think a lot of people will not like that there aren't too many great action scenes. why do movies always have to look like a michael bay pissing contest. the world is full of people expecting videogames at the moviehouse.

anyway, i like how the film was shot beautifully (shades of brown reminiscent of the director's first movie). it is very beautiful visually. and andrew's geek cool is really impressive.

havent seen this.. pero sa sm starosa, weird pero halos 4 cinemas nila ito lang ang showing..
though sabi nung guard mas mahaba daw pila nung avengers... but i think its a must see film..

uulitin ko yung post ko sa FB ko:  Andrew Garfield is so adorable, and his version of spidey is way better than Tobey...  I love the movie sabi ni hubby mas maganda yung kay Tobey pero itong kay Andrew mas may nakuha sa comics kesa kay Tobey.   inantok sya pero ako kilig na kilig and nagandahan ako sa story not too action packed.....pero ang galing ng effects eh.   at least pinakita dito kung pano naging orphan si Peter and I love Aunt May  here, cool sya dito.

ang cute ni emma and anrew as a couple pero di masyadong stunning si Emma stone for me, there something wrong pag nagsasalita sya.

over all:  I love the movie.  Way better that the original spidey film.

Agree about the "Michael Bay" reference.  Haha.  This is being compared to Batman Begins in that it delves more into the back story, which means that action is limited onscreen.

Maganda ang cinematography ng film na to.  And I like the 3D, it was not over the top at tama lang.  Better talaga if filmed na in 3D rather than converted after the fact.

i like toby's acting more pero mas true to the spiderman yung acting ni andrew garfield or siguro aksi mas true to the comics itong story especially the web contraption and gwen the first love.

and i like to Coldplay song dun sa nagsskateboard sya sa some abandoned building na may mga chains.

im just quite sad na if ever they do sequels and ipapalabas na si MJ, hindi na pwedeng si emma yung MJ, yung lang.

For me, the movie is good siguro kasi I was an avid Marvel comic book reader. It is almost as how I pictured it to be from 2D to 3D (no pun intended). OT, but if I have a disappointment, it is the OPI collection inspired by this movie. Nothing came up with the blue and red of his amazing the best ever spider suit.

It's a hidden track (Til Kingdom Come) from their X & Y album. Tagal ko nang love ang song na yan so it was a very pleasant surprise to hear it sa movie.

I liked nerdy Tobey compared to angsty Andrew, pero bagay si Andrew as high-schooler spidey. Natuwa na naman ako sa cameo ni Stan Lee.

akala ko din hindi ako mag eenjoy coz i like Tobey too and i am not a fan of both Andrew G. and Emma Stone, and i was prepared to snooze thruOut the movie while hubby watch it to his heart's content. but lo and behold, mas nagustuhan ko etong The Amazing Spiderman than the previous three Spidey movies 

firstly, i love Martin Sheen and Sally Field. loved Sally Fierld since birth, mata palang nya, feel na feel ko na nararamdaman nya 

secondly, ang ganda ng story, not a dull moment from start to finish. may kurot sa puso ang story, tas may sundot na humor at the precise moment. and Stan Lee's cameo role was so hilarious! i still laugh to myself whenever i remember that particular scene   

thirdly, tama lang yung action scenes for me. and the cinematography on Spiderman's attempt to rescue Gwen in the Oscorp Tower is soo cool! love it!

overall, two thumbs up!!!

ako rin nung una, skeptical (kahit I find super duper hot si Andrew Garfield), sabi ko, bakit may Spiderman na naman, tapos mula umpisa na naman, sana ituloy na lang nila kuwento. pero ok naman pala, amazing! yun nga lang, ibinigay na lahat (except for his closure nung pumatay kay Uncle Ben), nalaman na ni Lizard kung sino siya, saka ni Gwen.

I wonder if they will adapt the tragic ending of Gwen Stacy sa comics.  Sana gawin nila, that would be such a great acting moment for Andrew.

Gusto ko three movies max lang this series.  Kung three movies lang, hindi na siguro kelangan ipakilala ang bagong MJ.  Matanda na rin kasi si Andrew (although he doesn't look it).  Although halos same age lang sila ni Tobey when the first Spiderman was made.

I'll watch it again this weekend.  I like the movie that much.

^loved that part too. very touching and the cinematography was cool (albeit may CGI, i suppose? heh heh)

Also, if you plan to watch this in 3D (and not IMAX), wag sa SM North, pls lang. Specifically wag sa Cinema 2 kasi super di nakaka enjoy. May mali either dun sa screen or sa 3D glasses (dami rin nag complain).

^buti nalang hubby and i decided to watch Spiderman on 2D in The Block. coz the last time we watched Clash of the Titans in 3D in The Block Cinema-2, hindi ako nag enjoy. yun pala may mali sa 3D glasses. akala ko may mali sa mata ko. hah hah!

Seen this movie on 3D @ SM Cinema with hubby and kiddo. At first i thought Emma Stone is too old for the role, seen her on Easy A and other films ( i just don't like her voice)     To my surprise turning 29 na pala si Andrew Garfiled. Baby face lang pala...  Cute guy ayaw ko lang ng teeth nya, gappy, crooked, sungki sa lower teeth.

Anyways, over-all ok naman ang story and for sure may sequel kasi di pa nadidiscover yung secrets sa pagkawala ng parents nya, di pa nya nahanap yung pumatay sa uncle nya and because of the last few lines sa movie: Mr. Parker, don't make promises you can't keep.

Raimi's Spidey movies was made to look like an exaggeration of a classic story. No doubt, his first spidey flick became the benchmark of how superhero movies should be like. This also made people believe that Spiderman had organic webshooters. Ugh. I initially thought then it was a cool reimagination. And as for Tobey, he did not fail to real-ize Peter's classic comicbook-ish geek part.

Webb's Spidey movie feels so real. Since the advent of Social Media and Online Gaming, geeks and nerds have become as sexy as models and athletes. It seems that Webb exploited this and invested on making Garfield as Peter Parker the sexiest geek/nerd ever next to that Facebook guy. And it worked. Peter Parker and Spiderman's character in this reboot is closer to how it should be. Jansport. Sony Experia. Mechanical web shooters.

And oh, Uncle Ben's death here moved me more.

I really did not have a lot of expectations since I was not able to see the Toby spidey. But I did enjoy how Peter evolved. And Andrew Garfield is a great actor. He was a convincing teenager. And his onscreen chemistry with Emma is  super kilig inducing. I loved this super hero movie. Not because of the fight scenes, but because it showed the human side of Peter Parker. How he wanted to humiliate the bully in front of the whole school. How he was mad at the whole world for the death of his uncle. It was a great movie and hopefully, there's a sequel.
