poligals: Check your Eating Plan. It has a list of allowed crackers   :D

Yes, those crackers are listed on mine too. But I haven't tried any except Jacobs. I'm just wondering which is the next not so papel tasting cracker after Jacobs.

@poligals, natawa naman ako sa not so papel tasting cracker question mo... I tried Wasa and Finn Crisp na before but tama ka, lasang cardboard nga.  Jacobs hi cal pa lang din na try ko na may sweet taste, pero since out of stock siya i bought lots of low salt hi fibre instead, ok naman siya, I got used to the taste na din after a while.
@martintine, can you give us the contact number of the one selling meiji cracker on FB Cohen Group?

hello ladies, how is everyone doing?  Just wanted to share, today I'm wearing one of those dresses that i bought for when I lose weight... yey! kasya na sya!!!! happy, happy!

Goodluck sisses!

a colleague of mine just came back from holiday and he is so sweet, when he saw me he said, "hey, your looking good" and he brought me a box of pineapple tarts (my super favorite) as pasalubong.... ang bait talaga nito... kaya lang hindi ko pwede kainin yung pasalubong nya hahaha.... hindi pa naman masyadong type ni hubby ang pineapple tarts hahaha.... oh well....

Good job, kreez!! I stumbled upon your blog. I was wondering how you made the creamy mushroom sauce (Cohen style)?

Meatballs in creamy mushroom sauce

minced beef
cracker (crushed), I normally use 1 cracker
zucchini (chopped)
onion (chopped)
tomatoes (cubed)
mushroom (sliced)
garlic powder
salt
pepper
sprite/7-up light

mix the beef with the zucchini, cracker, garlic powder and onion, roll into balls.  fry the meatballs in a hot pan sprayed with oil, set aside.  sautee the tomatoes, mushrooms and some of the onion that didn't incorporate with the meatballs.  pour in 7-up/sprite enough to cover the veggies and place the meat balls.  Simmer for 10-15 minutes or until the sauce is thick.  enjoy!

Ive been loving this the past days...tuna in water, light mayo allowance, salt & pepper. Mix together.  Then julliened cucumber...eat with crackers...yummo!

I bring this to work placed in a small cooler. I didnt realize how little the meals are until it all fit in super small lock n lock containers. I guess you need to eat that little to really lose weight :)

Hi Amberstar! Just send a message to Michelle Bagsit-Reyes at Cohen Lifestyle's FB closed group. Pick-up place is at BF Paranaque

Hi Kreez! Thanks for sharing the recipe. try ko gawin  :)

Hi cohenites!

@martintine, don't give it up, baka mas lalo kang mainis sa sarili mo if you gave up, expect na medyo magiging mainitin ang ulo kasi we're used to eating whenever we have an emotional thing going on in our lives, we use food to cover up our feelings, now that controlled ang eating natin we don't have a choice but to face the problem in a different way (not by eating or stuffing food in our mouths) that's what lead us to being over weight diba, it's a lifestyle change so it won't be easy talaga, imagine we're an emotional eater all our lives then biglang magche change ng lifestyle...  in a way para kang nag asawa, may major adjustment na mangyayari sa umpisa, may hirap pero may saya din naman.  Another way to look at it is para ka ring namatayan, it's a part of us that needs to die, yung pagiging emotional eater natin.  Kaya dito sa cohen journey natin marami kang stages na maexperience, happiness, sadness, tapos pag in the zone ka na at nareach mo goal mo super saya kasi for once you're in control of your own body.  I'm not telling you it's easy, what I'm telling you is give cohen a chance and let your body heal and recover with this new lifestyle.   Good luck and be strong... ;)

Regarding your mom, expect it from your family, officemates, friends, relatives, etc... ako din halos lahat ng tao sa paligid ko told me to stop lalo na nung nagiging masungit na ako, what do you expect diba? e ang sungit ko na eh...  ;D up to now inis pa din mom ko pag di ko kinakain food na niluto niya, or tinatangihan ko mga alok nila sa akin, kasi pag nag oofer sila ng food ang sagot ko isang malutong na "NO!" tapos wala ng kasunod na explanation, we don't need to explain all our actions to everybody, anyway it's our own body, walang pakialaman!  ;)

hi martintine, you signed up for Cohen's. That means you wanted to take charge of your life. What we are doing is a lifestyle change and syempre yung family natin, hindi sanay na makita na "ginugutom" antin ang mga sarili natin. And of course, one of our bondings sa family natin eh ang pagkain. Stay firm sa decision mo and be strong na din. Sooner, you will reap the reward.

As for food preparation, very time consuming talaga sya and i am not the type na magweigh ng food for one week tapos ikeep ko sa fridge. My solution is time management.  ;) Before I go to bed at 9 - 10 pm, I make sure na naweigh ko na yung mga gagamitin ko the next day. Then I wake up 30 minutes earlier para iluto ang meals ko for the day. My usual combination is salad and savory dish. Isang meal would be a salad so habang niluluto ko yung savory meal ko, chinachop ko naman yung mga veggies ko for my salad. I just toss it all then shake then ok na. I am not that adventurous kapag weekdays pero kapag walang pasok, like kahapon, i grilled my chicken and veggies.

Be happy, sis, kasi we deserve this. Our body deserves this. And if you quit, you will feel worse later on kasi you gave up on something that you know you can do. Bump in the road lang yan. Take some time to relax and meditate or just be alone. Plan accordingly and you will be fine. Cheers! :)

Hi amberstar & sisa16! Thank you very much sa inyong mga comments and support.

I always tell myself to forgive and learn from my mistakes, but this morning, I think I blamed my commitment with Cohen for the mistakes that I did in the office, that's why I was so pessimistic. After being emotional, nagprepare ako ng lunch, pumunta ako ng office. Since wala na ako time magprepare ng dinner at may feeling pa ako that I want a break from the food preparation, kumain na lang ako ng salad sa S&R.

By the way, pumunta ako sa Cohen Clinic, sabi nila baka next week may Jacobs na, kaya abangan next week.

Thank you again amberstar and sisa16. Sana magkita kita tayo sa EB natin  :D

hi sis martintine, question po: when you had a salad sa S&R, ano nafeel mo afterwards? did you feel relieved? did you feel happy? or did you feel guilty? we should take consequences of our actions. well, isipin mo na lang na salad yun. ako, i have been dreaming of pansit bihon and siopao. ;D ;D ;D and boyfriend was not helping me kasi he had nilupak kahapon and i was just staring at him talaga. kung ang pagstare eh deviation sa COhen's, i deviated big time na!haahah!

you will be fine, sis. just take a deep breath and go back na ulit sa diet natin. :)

P.S. I hope to meet you on January. Vacation time hehe.Pasalubong ko sayo? Crackers!hahahah! Be happy ha. :)

P.S.2. Of course, you have to be patient to her. Wag mo syang pagalitan sis kasi naisstress din sya sayo noh.hahaha! BAka matakot pa sya sayo. *hugs*

Can the target weight be amended, then? Naisip ko lang yun kasi I have been in the big side all my life so I am not sure kung maachieve ko yung target weight ko. Eh syempre mag one month pa lang ako so I cannot say talaga kung ano ang mangyayari sa akin later on..

ikaw mag ddecide kung ilan ang gusto mo i-lose, since hindi nila tayo nakikita ikaw magssuggest ng goal weight. pero syempre kung gusto mo pumayat i-set mo yung "ideal" weight mo as payat. =) pwede ka mag request sa consultant na slightly higher if ever, babaguhin nila yung profile mo. ewan ko kung ma-achieve ko yun, depende yun sa losses this month. =) tsaka marami pang taba yung tummy ko so baka kaya pa hehe if not sasabihin ko nalang sa consultant =)
