sis czarina, kami hindi na kukuha ng stylist. Kami ng sister ko magconceptualize lahat and then DIY na lahat. sa estimate ko gagastos din kami dito ng around 5k for the DIYs and the rental ng gamit. Sana maexecute namin ng mabuti. Hehe.

i could also do some DIY's for our wedding para hindi na mag hire ng stylist. 5 to 10k na gastos [textspeak!] keri na? and sis sino pala mag kakabit ng mga DIY's on the wedding day? napaisip lang ako

The staff of the resort already agreed to do it for us. Ididiscuss na namin sa kanila lahat before hand, and my sister will be providing the layout. Yung magsusupervise nito is my OTD na.

Hi guys, pwede ba maghire ng stylist for drapes, linens and other decor lang? We're having a hotel wedding kasi and part na ng package nila yung flowers. I know we can probably swap the hotel's flowers for something else and just have the stylist provide the flowers but I was thinking baka mas mura ng onti if we could get styling without flowers. Pwede kaya yun?

Also, may alam ba kayong mid-range stylist that can do yung mga medyo formal na set-up? Napapansin ko kasi na parang puro rustic/shabby chic yung themes na uso ngayon. We're looking for something more formal but it seems like only the likes of Teddy Manuel and Gideon Hermosa do those kinds of set-ups. We're hoping to not spend so much on styling so we're looking for some mid-range ones. May marerecommend kayo?

Finally found my stylist! We're getting Natural Art. Sharing what made my fiance and I say yes to Abhie --

Cost - we told her that our budget was Php 100k max and she willingly broke down all the expenses, pointing out which items added to the cost and gave suggestions on how we can maximize our money. In the end we decided to go with certain props that make use of artificial flowers (such as the arc for the altar) because sa layo na ng stage, nobody will really notice and if they do, I don't think they'll remember that we used fake flowers 10 years down the road.

Quality - I looked up their previous events and entourage bouquets which look tasteful naman. I'm not aiming for over-the-top/bonggang styling; just want something simple and classy which I think they can deliver.

Ease of communication - initially turnaround time was 1-1.5 weeks for email replies but she answers promptly over text and her quotations were always organized. No need for me to guess or make my own Excel file.

Location - they have an branch in Trinoma which is 15 minutes away from where I live so meeting her won't be an issue

Crew number - she said they only need 10 guys as opposed to 15-17 for the other teams.

So happy and relieved that we're crossing this off our to-do's!

Hi whutup! Pareho tayo - I'm trying to stay away from the rustic/shabby chic look. From the suppliers I've looked up, the ones who can do the classy/romantic look seem to be Natural Art, Scenta and Jun Hen. However, if you're just looking at draping, try asking your L&S supplier. Sensitivity offers draping as an add-on to their packages. How much ba will your hotel charge you on a per table arrangement? The average cost I've seen is Php 1,500/table.

^Hi sis whatup, i also liked the classic kind of styling better than rustic (although there were times i just wanted to give in to rustic because it seemed easier and cheaper kasi usong-uso sya) so i ended up with scenta creations, as mentioned by reese17 my wedding's not yet done but I was pleased with my mock up naman so hopefully maganda nga talaga sya sa wedding. I also got the drapes na from scenta and their rate for full draping was actually cheaper than the other mid range stylists i talked to (sony francisco and jocelyn laguna) and even the florists i inquired with in dangwa (dangwaflorist and clint carl and armani). Hth

Ask ko lang kasi hanggang ngayon hindi ko gets ang event styling. Hindi ba sila nag ca-clash ng caterer? Kasi Caterer has its own styling na eh. Though minimal maganda na.

My friend is looking for a stylist na mag dedesign ng ibang details hindi yung couples backrop, centerpiece, swags. Lahat kasi yun provided na ng Caterer eh.

Yung mag eenhance lang sana ng theme. Pano mag iinquire sa stylist ng ganun? I talk to a stylisty pero di nya ko gets. Pinipilit nya saken yung flowers, I already told him na hindi nga flowers yung kailangan ko. Or may alam ba kayong stylist na ganun?

^your friend is probably looking for the likes of moki gray and something pretty manila.. they do styling for registration area, photo area, memorabilia station, guest book area, etc.

Hi mga sis, may tanong ako..may marerecommend ba kayung ok na stylist and gumagawa ng backdrop. yung hotel kasi ng reception namin, ang mahal ng offer samen. if i can get a cheaper and better stylist, mas maganda di ba.. bale yung flowers, sagot na ng hotel. i just need stylist and backdrop for rent lang.
