Hi mga sis! Anyone here na may alam kung how much ang rates ng mga event stylists pag ceremony set up lang? Naka-package na kasi Yung styling ko sa caterer pero they charge a separate amount na 15k for the ceremony set up. (I'm having my ceremony and reception in the same venue kasi). Naisip ko na Baka cheaper and mas maganda if I get an event stylist para sa ceremony set up :)

hi girls!

Confirmed ko na. Mas mahal na talaga si Gids kesa kay Teddy Manuel.

I inquired with them both here at the SG bridal caravan and akalain niyong yun nga. I always thought super mahal ni Teddy ng di hamak, but no. Mas reasonable pa siya. Though I didn't book him on the spot naman..pero at least I know. Hehe

Grabe, ang mahal na pala talaga ni Gids!  :P  He is very creative, though recently, I've noticed that most of his designs are a bit redundant na.  Siguro mahirap din talaga maging creative when you get 1 project after another.  No more time to meditate and come up with new ideas  ;D

Did you get nikki chato?  The barkada of my sister got "you-know-who" coordinator and Nikki Chato.  Her reception was in a venue hall pa naman, not in a hotel... Although galante naman yung flowers sa stage, it turned out looking cheap?  The colors were not right.  In fairness to Nikki Chato, some florist/ designers really get from her, it's just that you really need a creative mind like Jo Claravall, Henry Pascual, Gids, and Teddy Manuel to find the right props, and flowers to combine for your dream wedding diba?

You can check out www.facebook.com/floristgids.
I'm getting gids myself. He's so easy to talk to and I'm looking forward to how he will transform our wedding rin since our theme is a little untraditional. =D

He is really really good our hotel account manager keeps saying how there's always something new everytime he styles the weddings in their hotel.

Hi mga sis! :) Have read the thread and haven't inquired yet to any event stylist since 2015 pa naman ang wedding namin..

I just want to ask baka lang may alam kayo na affordable event stylist?

Here's my budget:

Entourage - 15K (1 MOH, 3 BM, 3 SS, 5 PS, 2 FG)
Garden Ceremony - 10K
Reception (150-200pax) - 30k

Possible ba yung budget ko? Simple garden theme lang naman ang ipapagawa ko if ever, more of flowers nga lang.. no need na for ceiling drapes since meron na nun sa oasis. :)

TIA! :)

An event stylist is diff from the typical florist sis. Yang budget nyo for the flowers and entire styling might the stylist talent fee lang. If on a budget, I suggest to just hire a florist instead who can execute your peg =)
A florist is just a florist. Knowledgeable about flowers and how to set it up. An event stylist can go beyond that. They can style malls, fashion shows etc.
Ganun =)

^Another option din is ipaubaya nalang sa caterer yung reception styling. Some caterers like K by Cunanan or Passion Cooks can style a reception already, and maganda na rin naman. Meron ding mga caterers na may ka tie up na na stylist. K by C I think also does ceremony styling rin kapag Christian wedding, and backdrop lang naman ang kailangan. So ento flowers nalang hahanapin mo.

I have to double check the venue, the set up looks cheap but I'm not sure about the flowers Mismo. The shot was on stage kasi, I can erase the face of the couple and show you the pic :) maybe it's just me, I like the design of gids and teddy kc.

Question, if kukuha ba kami ng catering like K by Cunanan , may additional charges pa mga stylings nya? Also, papayag ba silang hindi sa kanila mga gamit na gagamitin for styling kasi magDDIY kami ng ilalagay sa tables and chairs pati backdrop?

I'm thinking of getting Moki Gray for my reception setup. Anybody who has feedback, please let me know! Thanks.

^^ Pwede sis, mabait si K sa ganyan. But if they have props they can provide why not utilize it right?

Mga sis, i'm torn kase between 3 diff stylist. Teddy Manuel, Henry Pascual, and Scenta.

My event kasi is a 50th golden reunion in Makati shang. Who amongst them will be ok sa design na not for wedding.
