magkano yung Phalaenopsis orchid in a flower pot? kasi balak ko if too expensive because of them yung qoutation sakin ng florist, ako na lang bibili sa supplier para makatipid lols!

sa manila seedling it starts at 600 per pot. Around 6-7 blooms. Pag 8-9  blooms mga 700 na.

^thanks sis. so mura lang pala no? malaki pala markup ng florists sa orchid na ganito grrrr. pwede kya yun? ill tell the florist na ako na lang yung mag provide ng Phalaenopsis orchids? i have 2 presidential tables, plus 14 round tables for guests. the florist needs 15 pots per long table and 1 pot per round table so total of 45 pots of orchids no? so lalabas mga 32k max lang for them. super mura! sana pumayag florist ko. i got  qoute from henry pascual kasi, he qoute me 210k for everything e sa presidential tables lang yung orchids nun.

From what I know seasonal lang din kasi ang phalaenopsis so hope that it is available during your wedding. But I think yung mga nasa manila seedling in qc, they get it from a supplier na may greenhouse so maybe you can get it year round.


I love love phalaenopsis too!!! It's sooo bagay for Antonio's.

thanks sis! yeah yun din talaga dream ko na floral centerpieces for antonio's. the problem now is to convince the event stylist that i'll be the one supplying the orchids =\

^ he should! or else parang labas nun he just wants to profit from you. maybe you can tell him that you're friend would be giving those as wedding gifts and you want to use them for the reception.

^thanks sis. that's a good excuse hehe. yeah sana talaga pumayag. ill just buy the pots/box stand from the stylist. hayy ill get the costing, proposal etc next week daw. we'll see =)

mga sis you think gids will go for 50k or less for reception styling for 150 guests? I really love him, can't sleep because his beautiful works haunt me kaso he's really beyond my budget. parang want lang din kasi siya & not a need kaya i am really thinking about it. ayaw ko naman mag haggle if hindi din ako sure.

I dont think he can do it for 50k, masyadong mababa yung rate, and you know they can't fully execute the theme kung titipirin diba. He quoted me 70k reception for 100 guests, 20k for church, 15k for entourage.

^ i dont think he's that expensive (like Teddy Manuel). I inquired with him before but what put me off is that he was insisting that i should also get the guest tables from him.

before kasi dapat mandarin will provide at php650 per table but then hardinero quoted me parang php750 for a fluffy baby's breath topiary plus 2 small boxes with roses so i went with that na. hindi naman kasi dapat ako mag upgrade but they didn't make parinig or make pilit so i got curious and inquired and i liked it, ayan tuloy i got it from them too

^good call sis. im happy that you got the look that you want na for your wedding reception without sacrificing your budget =)

now im looking for a diff florist like jing tanada para may comparison ako sa other florist that i inquired from. bale basic package lang kukunin ko and ako na lang mag provide ng Phalaenopsis orchids. ito ang sakit ng ulo ko. how to get someone that won't profit for the flowers plus i have to pay pa their talent fee.

for now, i'm still waiting for the final proposal of henry p and spruce. better e-mail jing tanada as well.

feeling ko, everytime i mention that i want Phalaenopsis orchids, sobrang inaakyat agad nila yung presyo hayyyy.

^ if i remember right, hardiner had a centerpiece like that. around 2000-2500 for a topiary setting, it's very nice!

you also might want to consider 7lily also, you can first ask them to quote for you without the mention of the orchids then after they send it to you, ask how much will you add if you want them. para you know how much is the base price and how much they will make patong
