Happy with my ipad mini too! I've always shunned the ipad because of its size and weight (our friends, my bro, my BIL and my husband have them so i've tried using them). IMO, not that convenient to use while lying in bed kasi nabibigatan ako. Tsaka kakangawit to hold with just one hand. When the ipad mini came out, and i got to try it in-store, nagustuhan ko agad. Yun nga lang, medyo nai-ignore ko na iphone 4s ko because of the mini.. I have the wifi + cellular one, 32gb. though i didn't put a sim muna. Tsaka na lang. I like most that it can fit even some of my small bags. And when taking photos with the mini, it doesn't look as awkward as whipping out the normal-sized ipad to take photos, hehe..

i saw a shop here who sells ipad mini, though store warranty lang nila for 1 year, hindi yung apple warranty. anong difference ng normal warranty vs apple warranty mga sis?

Ipad mini is now available in powermac and authorized resellers today.

I'm so happy that we got this info before we bought from resellers. Its priced cheaper at 15990 for the 16gb.

Lahat yata pero limited stocks lang. According to the person I talked to earlier this AM at powermac SM North, they only have 17 units each per store.

huh? diba dapat pag apple eh apple warranty? unless it was locked to a certain network tapos they unlocked it lang. this is what i know ha, kasi sa mga phones ganyan eh.. better purchase from apple authorized retailer para apple warranty mismo.

apple warranty - you can have the unit changed to a new one, upon apple's decision syempre. and you're safe kasi nga apple mismo ang gagawa. though it may take longer time.

store warranty - yung store lang mismo sis. sila lang mag-aayos ng sira.

^ i think those units with no apple warranty are smuggled. anyway, i'm going to buy from iStore since meron na daw stock sana hindi ako maubosan tomorrow

hi mga sis pardon my ignorance since wala talaga akong idea i hope you can help me out.

i just received my ipad mini, and i want to ask how long is the initial charging for ipad mini? does it require a # of hours? do i have to drain the battery muna? should i shut it off then charge or pwedeng nakasleep siya?

^ sis, when i got my mini, me battery pa so i used it up muna. Nung nag-lowbatt, tsaka ko lang chinarge. Tapos normal charging lang, nung nag-100% ang battery tsaka ko tinanggal. Wala naman yata initial charging requirement e.

^thanks sis! naloka na nga ako kakagoogle at mismong sa apple website nga wala naman akong nabasa na may initial charging chorva but i wanted to make sure kasi nababasa ko dapat 10hours dapat regardless if full na naisip ko hinde ba mas nakakasira yun ng ipad mini kung hahayaan kong overcharged siya.

^ wow, tagal ng 10hrs ah.. Oo nga, baka mas makasira pa ng battery ang ganun katagal na charging.. Although ako, minsan nao-overnight charging ko iphone/ipad(3 and mini), pag nakakatulugan ko. Hehe..

^ nope. Got the mini as a gift. Bought abroad yata or sa reseller dito, di ko sure. Got mine early-December.

^^ january pa ata magkakaron ng available stocks ang ipad mini sis. puro demo units pa lang ata yung ibang stores eh. yun sa electroworld kasi ganun.
