^i stand corrected pero infairness naman sa corticosteroid na prescribed ng pedia-derma ng pamangkin ko, effective talaga. i just don't want to use it to my baby kasi ayoko magibg depedent sya sa gamot. i changed her soap during the time na naglabasan skin asthma nya and it did wonders kaya hindi nya na kinailangan magsteroid.

OT: how about the oral corticosteroid? ano side effects?

Hi moms, 2weeks old na baby ko and when she was born ng fflake and dry ang skin nya from head to toe, until now, is it normal? Or should I use lotion to correct the dryness? Ang soap ni baby Johnson baby original bar. Meron din siya whiteheads s nose when she was born, which is normal daw and will fade in time.. And lately nagkakaron siya ng pimples sa cheeks. Na google ko na it is normal pero nkakatakot n baka lumala, any one who had skin concerns like ours?

Help! My 3-week old baby has developed rashes sa cheeks nya. What ointment can you recommend para mawala na yung rashes? Yung effective na puede sa 3-week old baby, saka yung hindi naman kamahalan ang price. Tnx!

 all of it is normal sis. do not worry too much. naga-adjust pa baby mo sa environment, remember watery sa loob at dry sa labas.

normal yan sis. baby ko rin sa cheeks nagkapimples pero nawala ng kusa, i just make sure na no milk or saliva dun sa area na yun para di mairitate.

re dryness, si baby ko sa eyebrow area lang nagkaron. what i did i put some oil then massage it before she takes a bath to soften the skin and then massage it again during bathing to remove the dry skin, but no pressure ha basta yung parang hinahaplos lang.

mga sis baka matulungan nyo ko. Ano pwede gamitin sa neck at kilikili ni baby ang asim kasi nung folds at mamulamula pa? He's 2 mos old. Parang habas ata tawag ng mga matatanda dun.. We try naman to always dry the area after bath pero ganun pa din moist sya at maasim.. Tia!

Sis try mo cornstarch imbes na  jnj powder ang ilagay mo yun kze gamit ko kay bebe.. sana makatulong

Nagkaron ng baby acne si baby ko rin. Pero nagdry sya ng kusa after 1 week. Wala kaming pinahid na ointment or cream pero pinupunusan namin ng wet cotton ball once a day.

Yun dry skin naman nya, we bought jnj baby oil and gamit namin every after ng bath time nye. We also use mustela lotion once in a while. Depends sa mood ko.

May dry skin rin sya sa face... cotton ball lang din gamit ko pang wipe. Natatakot ako maglagay ng moisturizer eh.

Sis twelvth goddess ask ko lang regarding bath routine ng baby mo sis. Evap for 5mins then wash with j&j milk bath then pangrinse  yung tea? Or babad sya sa tub with tea? Hindi na rinse ng water from faucet before punasan towel? Tia :-)

^Hi sweetcake. I don't use teabags on my daughter's bath water anymore pero you may still do if you want. Just before your child takes a bath, apply evap milk all over her body first tapos let it sit on her skin while you brush her teeth. Yung teabag, ang ginagawa ko kase before, since warm water pinapaligo ng daughter ko, i let the tea steep on the hot water inside the pail bago ko punuin ng tap water yung pail and yun na yung water na gagamitin talaga. No need to rinse it with tap water anymore. Just be careful na mag-burst yung teabag. Hope this helps

Ang hirap pala mag alaga ng skin pag summer at kakaiba ang init ngayon.

Nilagyan ko naman ng sunblock pero pagpalit ko ng damit ng anak ko e kitang-kita nakakorte yun umitim na part. Dati d naman ganito. Iba yata ang init ngayon

Yun noo nya may streak ng umitim na skin sa part d inabot ng cap nya.

Ewan paano babalik sa dati kulay nya, ok lang sa akin kasi morena wag lang itong mukhang zebra ang noo.

^ without going for a swim yan mam or anything? kaloka! kami everyday din sunblock kahit wala naman direct sun, for protection lang, init din kasi talaga 11am sya sundo school bus medyo init din paglabas ng house.

@pinkpotato, yes haps nagulat rin ako kitang-kita yun difference. Kaya kanina nagtingin ako manipis na long sleeves medyo sawi lang.


Mag aalaga rin ako ng aloe vera nabasa ko ok raw kapag medyo nasunog ng araw ang balat pwede ipahid sa affected area yun katas nun sabila.

^ i also use mustela for my daughter, and yes, it's pricey but very effective. We've tried burt's bees lotion & shampoo & wash when she was born pero she developed atopic dermatitis that's why we had to stop using them.  Her pedia prescribed Cetaphil, ok sana sa skin but then dumami naman yung flakes sa scalp nya. So i tried Pigeon 2in1 wash from their sakura line as a shampoo then cetaphil as body wash. Nag improve yung scalp nya but then di talaga nawawala yung rashes sa face nya. A few weeks before her christening, i decided to switch to Mustela and try their Stelatopia and Stelatria line, so far ok sya, ang laki ng improvement ng face nya.
