^yes sis, dalhin ko na si Ava sa pedia nya next week, tapos papa refer ako sa dermatologist.  parang hindi naman kasi keloid yun sa kanya, may time kasi na di gaano yung lump tapos may time na di red..  hay! depressing kasi makita. 

nga pala, may derma ba for toddlers?  napaisip ako dun.  sana may solution pa, kasi sabi nila bata pa naman daw si ava, mawawala din daw yun as she grows older...pero syempre dun ako sa sigurado.
My brother tried contractubex sa stitches nya sa face due a motorcycle accident, wala na ngayon, walang kabakas bakas ng aksidente, effective pala talaga amg contractubex.

We had a check up sa pedia ni ava kanina about sa scar nya and sadly keloid na nga sya well sabi ni pedia, so yun she prescribed Dermatrix pero yun Contractubex okay na din daw yun, wait daw kami ng 1 more week pa kung magkaron ng imporvement ang scar kung mag flatten ito, so pag hindi daw, i refer nya kami sa surgeon, ooperahan daw yung scar pero itetest muna kung keloid former si ava yun daw kasi ang isa sa way para mawala ang keloid may chance daw kasi na baka hindi pa lang naghe heal yung peklat kaya ganun.

ang sa akin naman gusto ko muna sya dalhin sa derma before sa surgeon baka may alam sila na way to prevent the keloid, what do you think mga sis, derma o surgeon kami?

4 1/2 lang si ava tapos kung ooperahan sya naawa ako sa kanya, ang bata nya pa kasi.  pero ayaw ko din naman na hindi maalis ang peklat nya ang haba kasi.  Hubby told me na derma muna daw kami, help please...

^^only 1 week to see if Dermatrix will work? if not, surgery na? tama ba pagkakaintindi ko, sis? ang bilis nung 1 week. i agree, get a 2nd opinion first. as much as possible kasi, ayaw ko ng surgery.

^yep sis, yun ang sabi ni pedia if 1 week walang improvement sa scar, punta daw kami sa surgeon then the surgeon will look into the scar then a possible surgery, kaya napaisip ako, there are other ways to improved the appearance of the scar.  she's just 4 1/2 yrs old kaya ayaw ko ng surgery, Next week I'll bring Ava sa pedia derma sa TMC, I already have the number of the doctor at iisa lang sya sa TMC, sana he can help me with the scar,  ewan ko ba, ako lang ang bothered na bothered about the scar, naisip ko kasi pag hindi naalis yun baka mag caused pa ito ng insecuriies ni Ava in the future.  Kaya I'm really concern.

Sabi ko nga kay hubby, baka Ava will hate you pag laki na andun pa din yung scar nya sa legs kasi sya pa din ang culprit kung bakit nagka scar si ava because of that hide and seek game na linaro nila a month ago.

hindi siguro dandruff yan, cradle cap yan. Common yan sa newborn. try to use Physiogel or Cetaphil only sa scalp niya. Stop muna other shampoo.

my zakia is exactly 4 week old po ngayon. madami syang parangmga pimples and white heads sa face. lalo na po sa side ng mukha. di ko po alam kung normal yun or hindi. kapag pinapaliguan ko kasi sya i use soft cloth water lang sa face. tapos sa head nya johnson's. sa body is baby dove. may mali ba ako?

Yes sis pwede po sa body yung cetaphil. If you want im selling po cetaphil gentle skin cleanser.

Ok lang ba na hindi lagyan ng lotion ang baby? Gamit namin sa pagpaligo Aveeno Baby wash & shampoo, saglit lang maligo tapos dry agad. Gumagamit lang talaga kami ng humidifier kasi sobrang dry kapag winter. So far ok naman si baby, malambot ang kutis.

Nung minsan kasi nilagyan ko siya ng lotion kasi nagbalat ang forehead niya. It got worse and now meron siyang dandruff hanggang sa scalp. Not kasing lala ng cradle cap pero after nun di ko na ni-lotion.

^ Sa newborn, I prefer not to use any lotion muna for my kids..
Nung nag 6months old na sila, tsaka lang ako gumamit ng lotion...
Dahil dry nga pag winter.. tapos face cream nila, yung meron cold cream..

@ sis mylife26, mukhang milia ang nasa baby mo.. normal lang yon.. mawawala na lang siya kaya wag mong kutkutin ha

@ sis missjanelle, ok lang not to use lotion on newborns.. kami naman less than 6 months, naka-cetaphil cream then aveeno lotion na. ma-chicken skin kasi ang lahi namin.

I started using lotion on my daughter when she turned 6 months old. Yun din naman advise ni pedia. Pag 6 months daw kase nagccrawl na and madameng surface contact na si baby kaya dapat mas protected na ang skin.

^those are normal lang. Baby acne lang yan it will clear up in no time the white heads are called milia. Pero kung concerned ka and you want them to clear up right away, try physiogel ai cream or elica cream. Ask your pedia before you put it on your baby though.

para kasing nakakaitim ng vagina yung diaper cream. kung di naman lalagyan, rashes naman ang kalaban

^ nope. my baby is almost a year old na pero twice pa lang ako nakakapaglagay ng cream. nung nagkarashes lang sya ako naglagay. siguro you need to find another brand of diaper. baka hindi hiyang si baby mo sa current brand nyo.

hi mga sis... yung baby ko darker ang legs nya compared sa ibang body part nya.. any suggestions ano pwede gawin para pumantay sya?
