my baby naman used a lot of different soaps ana from johnson's to mustela and cetaphil. I'm glad di naman sya nagkakarashes at di ganun kasensitive skin nya kahit I keep on changing soaps ang recommended ng pedia nya is cetaphil

Bought j&j's bedtime lotion, eto lang kc pinakagusto kong smell, sana mahiyang son ko, switzal kasi gamit niya dati since di ako makakita dito sa middle east, try ko nalang johnsons, share na rin kami.

Notice ko mas naging healthy looking ang skin ng baby ko.

Before Lactacyd gamit ng baby ko, but after a few months I discovered he has skin asthma, so pinachange ng pedia to Dove for Sensitive Skin, then Lotion niya Physiogel lang, hindi pwedeng iba. We even consulted Derma, kung ano-anong prods binigay, liquid soap, cream, saka lotion, hindi siya hiyang sa mga yon na parang home-made products ng derma, sayang lang. back to Dove and Physiogel kami.

yan din ang ginagamit ko sa face ng baby ko sis, yan ang pinrescribe ng pedia niya kasi sensitive ang face ni baby, madali mairritate. pero sa body hindi yan ang ginagamit ko, i use aveeno baby lotion. approved ng pedia niya yun.

merong mga bed bug bites si baby!  what to do?  kinamot nya sa sobrang kati siguro, ngayon nagsugat na!  kawawa baby ko!  i don't know kung bakit nagkaroon ng bed bugs sa bed namin!

mga sis, may pytiriasis alba sa magkabilang cheeks ang 11month old boy ko...ang recommended ng pedia nya is Cetaphil bar, then Physiogel cream sa face at Nutraderm lotion for the body...sa physiogel at cetaphil familiar ako, pero sa Nutraderm hindi...

so he's using them now for about 2 weeks now at so far kumokonti na un spots nya sa face....

continue ko ang paggamit ng cetaphil at nutraderm for him kasi mas ok skin nya ngayon di na gaano dry...dati kasi human nature baby wash ang gamit nya then we switched to johnson baby milk bath...

pwede na ba mag baby lotion,baby cologne and powder ang 3 months old? Particularly johnsons ang brand.

I used lotion from 3 months onwards pero not powder. Yung cologne sa clothes lang and konting konti sa hair.

^^ charlize16 pwede powder sis pero make sure na hindi nya malalanghap. i-pat mo lang yun powder. cologne, i think okay naman basta yun di matapang okay naman yun J&J. Lotion naman, OFF lotion lang. I don't think babies need lotion unless prescribed ni doc.

^^^charlize16: sis my baby uses powder pero konting konti lang talaga as in i put a small amount lang sa palmo ko rub it & then that's what I use to pat sa chest & back ng baby ko. For cologne naman I dont put any on him yet. As for lotion, our pedia recommended the physiogel AI pero not daw all over, to be used lang daw sa cry areas since mashadong malagkit ang weather natin & mainit lang daw if he'll be covered with lotion

how do you deal with rashes around baby's neck (caused by drool and milk)?

My pedia told me that the rashes are normal and will eventually go away. In your case, mga moms, did you apply any ointment or leave it as is?

You need to be more vigilant in avoiding the buildup of laway and milk sa areas with folds (like the neck). Nagmo-moist kase ang areas na yan and pag may rashes na, pagsusugat na ang kasunod nyan kung lage pa din syang moist because of drool/saliva/sweat. Keep the area clean and dry as much as possible. Kawawa naman baby kase uncomfortable ang rashes and mahapdi pag nagsugat.
