^ December pa sis. Hirap nga ako magsched sa legoland kasi i have no idea if there will be other means of transpo. Yung kasama ko kasi gusto talaga maglegoland, e ayaw naman na naming magpunta ng SG kasi napuntahan na namin. ANy suggestions? Don't know lang if mas ok pa rin ang sunway lagoon than genting.

^no idea din sis on legoland. Baka mga december or next year din namin puntahan.

Will let you know pag me news na dito asan ang transpo na direct to legoland. Pero sis ha, as i have said 4-5 hrs ang bus ride to johor.

May I ask if if there will be any issue  on women/ girls wearing walking shorts around KL? 

How's the weather there now? Should I pack jackets/sweaters for my kids?

Which monorail station should we take to KL Sentral coming from Shang hotel? 

Would you recommend COSMO'S WORLD THEME PARK & PETROSAINS DISCOVERY CENTER for my kids to see?  I don't think Genting will be part of our itinerary na.

^ hi sis. No issues on girls wearing shorts here. You'd be surprised to see the chinese girls wearing more short shorts here very contradicting to the Muslim Malay girls. But of course just use it at the right place. I think sa skybridge ng Petronas di pwede shorts e.

Just wear summer clothes here kasi mainit pag mainit. Pero magdala ka na rin ng payong kasi pag minsan umulan sa hapon. Though ilang araw na rin di umuulan.

From kl sentral monorail, you can drop sa raja chulan or bukit nanas station. Shang kasi is situated sa gitna ng both stations.

Cosmo is ok. My oficemate's kid likes it there. Pero you can also check out sunway lagoon kasi me mga rides din don for kids. The one in petrosains is more of science museum pero ok na rin for kids.

IT fair dito ng Aug31-Sept2.. can't wait to see kung gaano pa kalaki ang discounts ng gadgets eh ngayon pa nga lang mura na.. even led tvs are super affordable.. lalo  na lcd.

Malapit po yung Bukit Nanas station sa Shang magkaharap lang sis yung Concorde sa Shang kaya accessible ang Bukit Nanas station sa inyo.

Maganda dito sa Malaysia 2 days na hindi umulan na nandito kami except yesterday pero mawawala din tama si Sir purple na di matagal ang ulan dito.

Ganda ng Petronas Tower enjoy ng baby ko kasi pumunta kami ng gabi yun lang ayaw nya maglakad nalalayuan kaya puros taxi. 20 RM ang singil nila pag galing ka KL Sentral to KLCC area. Tpos 10-15 naman pag within KLCC lang, BB area. Mganda sa bandang Shang sis kc tumbok nun yung Petronas tower pag tumawid kau ang daming Club na grabe ang night life din dito buhay na buhay. May mga Pinay din na nag-aantay ng client.

We will leave na mamyang gabi. We really enjoyed our Malaysian Trip esp. our Concorde stay. Receptionist are superb here in Concorde they even gave my husband a complimentary cake yesterday because its his birthday. Pati juice and candies for my baby basta nakikita nila sya inaabutan nila sa front office.

Hope to be back again here pero pag malaki na siguro ang baby ko kasi she can't afford pa talaga ng mahabang lakaran.

^^ the IT fair this month end sa midvalley is incomparable to the Pikom IT fair held every quarter in KLCC.  Pero sa totoo lang sis, the prices during IT fair and that of in Low Yat Plaza is basically the same.  di na kami masyado nagpupunta sa IT fair, siksikan na sa sobrang dami ng tao at konti pa choices.  Low yat na lang kami, same price, nakakatawad din, etc.  Mura nga mga appliances dito, 110 V nga lang.  Pero don sa mga napadala ko na appliances sa bahay sa Pinas, bumili na lang ng power voltage regulator.

About  that b-day treat for your hubby, did you inform the hotel staff about it? My eldest child will be celebrating his 16th b-day on the 21st (3rd day of our trip).  I'm wondering if I could do the same...

Question: Meron bang mga bawal na foods na dalhin sa Malaysia?

I have a connecting flight in KL, I will arrive in LCCT from Manila and depart in KLIA to Oman. I'm planning to bring ham, hotdogs, dried fish, and others. Mostly, products with pork. I'm just worried na baka bawal kase may tarpaulin dun ng mga bawal na food. Di ko lang masyado nabasa. Before nakapagdala naman ako ng pata ng baboy and hindi naman nasita even dumaan sa scanner.

Kaya lang ngayon kase, 5hours lang ang interval ng flights ko at hindi ako pwedeng maiwan ng plane.

^ walang bawal as long as nasa check in baggage mo.  pag galing kami ng pinas halos ulam dala ko sa check in ko e pero shempre properly sealed yon.  ang mga nasa tarpaulin nila is mga fruits, like mangoes, durian, etc kasi they are promoting their own local fruits na ganon dito.

Just got back from KL yesterday. 

Don't forget to buy the all in Rapid KL card.  This is the ezlink card of KL, it has access to MRT, LRT and some of the buses.  Not all though are integrated with this card.  KLIA and KTM commuter and the LCCT buses does not accept this card.

Day 1 - Petronas tower skybridge
          - Genting
We booked in advance as our friend was working for petronas and he got us tickets for RM20 each instead of original RM80 due to he asked his local friend to buy for us.  If I am to pay RM80, hindi worth it.  However, when I toured KL way back 2007, skybridge was free, ngayon hindi na pala.

The skybridge tour took us to level 86 observation deck for 20 minutes and the skybridge for another 20 minutes.  This is the RM 80.

On the afternoon, we went to Putra Gombak station and purchased our one way skyway and bus ticket to Genting. Roamed around the area, got disappointed coz all the rides are not that well maintained but we rode the Flying saucer (i think, the superman ride).  We enjoyed the climate though.  Then we went back to KL to have dinner at a friend's house.

Day 2 - Putrajaya
          - Batu Cave
          - Jalan Alor
We went to Putrajaya via the KLIA transit (Not KLIA Ekspress) for RM 9.50 one way.  Then we rented a taxi for RM75 for two hours where the driver took us and toured us around the beautiful architecture of Putrajaya.  Then nearing the end hour, she dropped us off at Alamenda complex, the mall in putrajaya where we had our lunch.  Then taxi back to KLIA transit terminal.

Then rode the KTM commuter going to Batu cave.  Then on our way back to KL, the KTM had to stop several times , it took the ride 1 hour from Batu cave to KL sentral.

We then took the monorail to bukit bintang and treated ourselves in Ca Cha restaurant along Jalan Alor where I had the most tasty Salted egg crab (the best!) for RM8 per 100 grams, its already a steal.  Our bill went up to RM220 but it doesnt matter as it fed 6 people.  for SGD80 its already a steal since we had 1 Kilo salted egg crab, grilled stingray (their bestseller, on the front of their menu), squid and other viands.

Then we went back home.

Day 3 - Sunway Lagoon
          - Chinatown for pasalubong

Sunway Lagoon is the bomb!! one of the best theme parks I had been to.  Close to Universal studios in terms of the theme park appreciation.  Some of the rides are not new but with all the fantastic extreme rides, scream park (so-so) and waterpark, this place should be for two days.  One day for the water park (fantastic waterpark) and another day for the extreme and amusement rides.

We left the place around 6:00 and headed to chinatown which has all the exciting food.  Order the beef, chicken and lamb satay with the peanut sauce.  We had the satay (18 sticks) plus the roasted duck and the roasted chicken.  All for RM18.  It fed 4 person and we were so full already.

^ nagutom ako sa post mo sis, hehe.  you didn't check out the long stretch of Malay cuisine along Bukit Bintang area in time for their puasa?  don mo makikita mga local foods nila since that is the only time for Muslims to eat. 

Mas ok na nga ngayon ang Sunway Lagoon kesa genting in terms of theme park e.  di na na-ma-maintain ang theme park ng genting.  pero in terms of climate, yon ang pinakamalapit na malamig.  and of course if you want to play sa casino.

Ay! meron ba! kasi nakaconcentrate kami sa Jalan Alor.  Atsaka si pinoy friend na based sa MY ang pinaorder namin.  Pero don't fail to try the Salted egg crab. Sobrang worth it. 

At ayaw din namin makisabay sa kain ng mga muslim (after fasting).

Yes.  Genting is purely for the good weather and the casino.

^ oo along bukit bintang pero every 5pm lang bukas yon til 8 pm ata.  maraming foreigners don kasi nga parang fiesta. madaming choices, don mo makikita ang mga local foods dito.  pero for me, mas malapit sa taste nating mga pinoy ang mga chinese cuisines than Malay/Indian cuisines.  hanggang satay lang ako at rendang (their version of caldereta) ang gusto ko plus nasi lemak.

^ sige, try ko nga yang Ca Cha pagdating ng mga tito ko this weekend dito.  thanks sis!

nung nagbook ako sis tinanong ko kung meron silang cake shop kasi sabi ko bibili ako ng cake for my husband nagreply sila sabi they'll give my husband daw a cake kaya nga nakakatuwa din.
No regret booking in Concorde ang galing ng mga receptionists don they gave my daughter lollipops ang juice everyday pag napapadaan kami sa reception. Ang lapit talaga ng Concorde sa monorail buti hindi kami sa Pacific Regency Suites kc mas malayo ng konti. Malaki ang shangrila sis may picture pa kami don kasi nadaanan namin nung pumunta kami sa Menara. May maybank pa sa tabi ng Concorde kaya pag may Atm kayo don makapag withdraw kau from peso to ringgit. Katapat naman ng Shangrila ang Maybank Atm's.

Maganda sa Malaysia kasi andaming high rise building akala ko Philippines and Malaysia ay pareho lang pero sa naobserve ko mas ok ang economy nila kasi from LCCT to KLCC well lighted ang daan unlike satin madilim ang expressways. probably kasi mura ang oil don because of their major distributor na Petronas oil. 1.90 ringgit per liter pala sa kanila so cheaper talaga.

Ok mamasyal sa Malaysia kung walang kasamang bata pero may 3 yo kasi ako madaling mapagod kaya may mga lugar na di kami napuntahan kasi isang pasyal pagod na.

Ang sarap ng chicken Satay nila at Rendang sis. Bumili din ako ng old town cofee na hazelnut lahat ng nabasa ko from sis purple Ive tried talaga. beryl's chocolate nag-uwi din ako plus famous amous. From Bukit nanas 2 stations lang bukit bintang na. Naka shorts naman ako all through out our stay pag namamasyal ok naman sa kanila pero pag nasa hotel not allowed ang short sa mga buffet nila nakalagay talaga don casual wear maski sa bar sa loob kaya nakakahiya pag nakashort kaya nagpapants ako hehe! pero sa breakfast buffet nagshort naman ako kasi may nakita akong nakashort wag lang lunch at dinner kasi mga guests nakaformal pag nakashorts pinagtitinginan ka.

over-all stay naman is ok yun lang ang layo ng malaysia almost 4 hrs by plane nakakabagot. 7 pm na don maliwanag pa.
 Mura sa Sungei wang at BB plaza nagsale nga ang Vincci don 50-70percent off. di ko lang nakita yung Pavillion Mall. almost mga hotel don magkakatabi lang talaga.

^ rendang is parang kaldereta natin di ba, mas ma-spices nga lang sa  kanila.  yan lang ang gusto ko na local malaysian food, plus nasi lemak. 

hope you enjoy sis Mum_A! baka makita pa kita around, heheh!
