pag nag HoHo usually ilang oras yung buong ikot ng bus, let's say tig 20 minutes ka lang per spot?

^ pag HOHO, yong mga bus will drop by sa HOHO stop every 15-20 minutes so it depends on you kung sasakay ka na or just stay don sa tourist spot asan ka then you will just wait for the next bus.  so, you are still the one managing your time gano ka katagal don sa area na yon pero you just bear in mind what time each bus will be in the stop.

hi sis purple ask ko naman po kc we are booked in Concorde hotel hindi na natuloy yung Pacific Regency kasi parang mas madaming good reviews ang Concorde at mukhang masarap ang kanilang buffet which is already included in our room accomodation.
 ask ko sis kung puede kami sa Dang Wangi sumakay to Batu Caves kc from the map parang yun ang malapit sa Hotel namin. Then pag pupunta kami sa Jalan Alor san po ba kami baba from Bukit Nanas station sa Bukit Bintang or Imbi station ba?

Malapit na kami pumunta dyan sis sa Aug. 10 na hope to enjoy our stay there gusto kc namin matry yung mga food sa Jalan Alor kasi yun ang sinasabi nilang masasarap daw yung food and at the same time mura.

From bukit nanas to jalan alor, sakay kayo ng monorail sa bukit nanas bababa kayo sa bukit bintang then lakarin niyo na lang.  be sure na ang sasakyan niyo na platform sa monorail is to kl sentral.

Going to batu caves, you need to go to kl sentral pa rin sis kasi iba ang line ng train to batu caves at yong nasa dang wangi. Ktm komuter na papunta ng batu caves mismo ang sasakyan niyo to batu caves. Pwede niyo sakyan lrt sa dang wangi tapos baba kato ng kl sentral.

No sis. I remember nong sinamahan namin sa hoho yong friend namin, 10 amkami nagstart natapos kami mga 6 pm na sa lahat. Kasama na lunch don ha.

My dear friend who's working in SG was able to get us promotional day pass rate for Legoland MY at the Singapore Expo. SGD 40 (Php 1300+) from the regular price of RM 140 (Php 1800+).. She said na meron din silang inooffer na with coach + 5 (sgd?/myr?) legoland meal voucher at SGD 57 (Php 1900+) pero sabi ko yung ticket muna, baka kasi magrelease sila ng public transport directions doon na mas affordable naman..

^they have been giving out promo rates na since last year when they anounced na they will open last quarter this year. 

Have they formally sent out the launched date na daw sis? Haven't heard the news pa sa local news dito.  but will keep you posted too!

^ yes sis, malamang don kayo sa lake garden magtatagal kasi hindi lang iisa ang pwedeng puntahan don.  park yon, meron bird park, orchid park, butterfly park, etc.  though karamihan don meron entrance fee.

hi girls.... ask ko lang kung ok mag-stay sa ali baba hotel? 1 room na lang kasi ang natitira sa may rainforest...6 kasi kme... ok ba sa cube hotel, agora hotel? ang sky hotel express magkalayu ba sa sky hotel bukit bintang..? TIA...

sis their opening is on sept. 15 and we will be going there sa 16th..

^^ cab sis.  walang train station near sunway lagoon.  medyo malayo.  or from Masjid Jamek, sakay ka ng Putra LRT hanggang Kelana jaya (pinakadulo), then from there, merong feeder bus from Kelana Jaya to Sunway, T623 ata no.  pero super traffic kasi mga dinadaanan ng mga bus at matraffic sa area ng KJ kaya mas ok mag-taxi.

^ oh i see.  di kasi napaguusapan dito e, heheh.  will ask hubby if we can try go there once pero di siguro ngayong opening, next year na lang siguro.  nadala na kami sa opening non ng Universal Studios e.

Hi sisphurple!

My family (hubby, teenage son & 2 tween girls) will be in KL on Aug19-22 (yep, during the holidays there). We'll be staying 2 nights in Shangrila, last night in Langit-Langi in Sepang so we'll be closer to lcct (Airasia flight back to Clark is @ 6am). Kindly check if my itinerary is doable:

Aug 19 (Sun)
3pm - arrival in lcct
5-6pm- check-in
7-10pm - dinner in Suria; walk around Petronas/KL Tower

Aug 20 (Mon)
9am - Batu Caves
After this I have two options considering the human traffic on this day, being the end of Ramadan (eid'l fit'r)
Option A - Genting Highlands
Option B - start our HOHO

Aug 21 (Tues)
10am - early check-out; leave luggages with the concierge/front desk
          - continue with our HOHO or
          - Bintang Walk; shop for souvenirs, Beryl's chocolates, Vincci shoes in Pavillion or nearby malls

5pm - pick-up luggages in Shangrila
6pm - check-in (Langit-Langi)
7pm - dinner around the vicinity

Aug 22 (Wed)
4 am - check-out; leave for lcct

Please tell me your thoughts on this iti.  Would love to go around but as you've earlier cautioned, the weeklong holidays will be tough. I'm actually imagining mala-People Power ang tao + super slow ang traffic 

Lastly, is the Charlie Brown Cafe in KLCC any good? My kids love Peanuts.

hi sis purple kumusta dyan hindi ba maulan gaya dito sa atin. Grabe dito hindi ko alam kung passable ang NLEX sa Friday kasi yun na ang alis namin.

Sana maging maganda na ang panahon sa Friday.

^^ haven't tried the Charlie Brown cafe there but they say the price is expensive but the experience of just simply being there is good.  Esp. since you say your kids love Peanuts.  So i think you can try it out.

Ok na ITI mo sis Mum_A.  Yong Aug 20 mo, actually, for sure mas maraming tao sa Genting than around the city. My relatives are coming over also that time e inisip ko kung i-Ge-Genting ko pa sila or skip it kasi for sure crowded don.  per malamig kasi don kaya i want them to see the place.  usually kasi for hari Raya, the locals here are back in their provinces so mas malamang naman na konti ang tao dito sa city than sa Genting. 

^ sis pinay, ok naman ang weather ngayon dito.  maaraw though after lunch kahapon umulan ng 30 mins pero di naman malakas.  pero just bring na rin umbrella in case lang kasi unpredictable dito maaraw sa umaga then later uulan saglit sa hapon. 

unpassable pa ba NLEX?  pero kahapon nakauwi sister ko sa Meyc pero mukhang ang me baha is sa bandang marilao exit.  sa weather forecast maulan pa rin ata hangggang this weekend.

If people from the city's going out of town, like Genting, would you recommend for us to go to Sunway Lagoon instead? It's within the city, right?
