Hi there sis, creating this thread for us mga sis who had already use pills and for those who will be using pills.

share your experience with your pills.

what pills? side effects? benefits? how to? dont's?

Just gave birth 3 mos ago and never had a contact again with hubby, when is the right time to start taking the pills? I am exclusively breastfeeding my child, is there such a pill safe for breastfeeding moms? My OB advised me that breastfeeding is good enough for me not to conceive but I still want to take a pill?Which is the best brand?

*MINI pill, progestin only when I was still BFing i dont menstruate at all with that one , months lang and i stopped kasi kumikirot puson ko

*orthotricyclin lo Took it for 2 yrs after MS

side effects? Kirot lang sa puson

benefits? It works if you take it religiously

how to?
If you plan to take OCP make sure you get checked, yun ang importante
Remember its only effective if you follow the instructions
I find it better to remember to take my first pill ( new pack ) sa 1st day ng period, to make sure you are 100% safe
I also set an alarm everyday to make sure i remember them
When you travel keep your pack sa bag you wont forget, and keep an extra one just in case if the other pack gets lost
Ask your partner to remind you too

Make sure if you take yours pills and want to stop you consult your OB to prevent withdrawal bleeding.
If you plan to have a baby, dapat daw at least pill free ka for 3 months. This will allow your body to adjust to your regular cycle.

Plus, a pill will be different for every person. Weight gain and other side effects/ benefits vary from each person. Always communicate with a doctor about taking OCPs.

si best friend ko she uses Daphne

benefits? Does not affect breastmilk. It is a progestin only pill for breastfeeding moms.

hi sis, what will happen if i stop taking pills after i finished my first pack, then had contact with hubby na walang protection? ayoko n kasi mag pills, then gsto ko ndin magka baby. y dapat pill free ka ng 3months? what will happen if ma preggy k right after mag stop k ng pills? will it harm me and the baby? sana may sumagot. thanks.

sister ko gumagamit ng Althea, kasi gusto niya maging smooth skin and acne free sa face niya.. kaya prescribe ng OB niya is Althea..

side effect? uhm.. naging habulin siya ng lalaki ehhehe

i'm on injectables but i'm planning to switch to pills na kasi biglang sobra yung weight gain ko and kahit anong exercise or diet. walang effect.

so question ko is. what pill can you recommend na hindi nakaka- weight gain.

ngayon ko lang narinig itong issue na ito, so far sa mga barkada ko na gumagamit ng Althea, ok naman sila, para sure lang tawag ka sa hotline nila or ask your OB

sis,iba iba kase ang effect ng pills sa sa moms eh,hiyangan talaga like sa ibang pills ang effect is nakakaganda ng skin,sa iba hindi..other mom experience nakakalaki ng boobs sa iba hindi so talagang hiyangan...

may mga pills na nagpo-promise na nakaka-enhance ng anik-anik sa ibang moms effective sa iba it's not...

I agree with honey-ecclaire, depende sa tao, but so far sa mga circle of friends ko who uses althea, ok naman sila... they even look more blooming... but if conscious ka sa figure mo you can try using Sophia...

Eh ang mahal pala ng 1 pack nito P500+ whereas [textspeak!] Daphne is only P120+ (i read sa kabilang thread na pwede rin for breastfeeding). What could be the big difference kaya for such a big price difference? planning na daphne na lang i-take kasi ang mahal na nga ng Provera, ang mahal pa ng Cerazette.

hello mga sis share ko [textspeak!] yung yung sakin na experience..gumamit ako ng Trust pills dati ok naman sya effective nga yung side effects [textspeak!] na napansin ko is bloated ako at tumutubo pimples sa likod ko good thing sa likod [textspeak!] at konti [textspeak!] naman..i have no issues on gaining weight..now my OB recommend marvelon 28 ok kaya yon?

pag nagkaka pimples ka try using Althea, kasi ang althea is formulated to make your skin smoother and acne free

baka naman hindi local brand yan...  kung pag uusapan ang effectiveness ng pill, Ok ang Daphne, si sister-in-law ko nag tatake ng daphne since nag bbreastfeed siya.. ok naman ang lahat sa kanya

Hi Sis, di ako user of [textspeak!] pills, pero since i saw your post please sana ibang pills nalang gamitin mo.  3 weeks ago somebody close to me died becoz of pulmonary embolism(actually super sudden death) super healthy sya and young. Yun pala nagthickened na yung blood nya dahil sa YAZ ayun nagkablood clot at yung lungs nya ang natarget.   tapos naggoogle ako grabe pala ang suit case sa bayer maker of YAZ

wala sa products nila,siguro di lang naman dahil sa yaz kaya ganun yung effect,though perhaps kasama sa nag-trigger sa death ng friend nya...

kakatakot naman yun, buti na lang wala sa friends ko gumagamit nung pill, most of the pills na gamit ng mga friends ko is Althea, Sophia, Daphne, Charlize, and a few is trust pills
