Firstly, large depositors/investors ang mga BPI Preferred. As in large, in the six digits. Some banks may have higher requirements for one to be preferred - in the millions, especially if they are situated in places like BPI Ayala. Deposits doesn't necessarily have to be in savings, checking or time deposits. Kasama rin ang ibang products like UITFs and MFs nila.

Those huge deposits or investments should also be sitting on the account for quite sometime rin. Several months or even years.

And this is by usually by invitation. It isn't something to apply for, but you may ask your branch of preference kung ano ang specific amount of deposit/investment ng branch para maging preferred.

Hi.  Anyone here who tried to withdraw from their bpi account in thailand or abroad using cirrus?

From their website, they stated that charge per withrawal is $3.5 or 2% of withrawn amount if above $175 but the bank abroad has additional charge.

Madali lang? How much ang actual charges?

^ sis we tried using our ATM sa HK. more or less P350 yung naging charge pero yung currency conversion eh mas mababa ng onti. madali lang magwithdraw, parang andito ka lang din sa Pinas. pero i think ngayon kailangan mo na munang itawag sa BPI kung may plans ka to use it abroad and kung ilang days ka dun.

meron bang online interbanking ang BPI? I have BPI savings and will open BDO. Pede ba ako magtransfer online ng money between those bank?

Another question, un BPI Direct ba same din BPI save-up account? pede ba ako magdeposit thru BPI Bank sa save-up account ko? kasi un orig ako ko is BPI Family Savings tapos got BPI save-up so I'm wondering...

Hi mga sis, just curious lang.  Ano po ba yung qualification to become a preferred client ng BPI.  I know na maraming freebies and cool benefits kug preferred client ka. 

Padadalhan ka lang ng invitation galing sa BPI main branch at yung invitation mo pakikita mo sa branch kung saan ka nakadeposti at yung ATM mo ay papalitan nila ng gold at kahit sa ibang branch ng BPI/BPI family pakita mo lang yung ATM mo di ka na pipila.

pero i think ngayon kailangan mo na munang itawag sa BPI kung may plans ka to use it abroad and kung ilang days ka dun.

Tatawag ka lang sa 89-100 at sasabihin mo na gagamitin mo sa abroad yung BPIcc mo at tatanungin ka kung kailan (date) ka mag abroad at automatic na yun pagbalik mo dito cancel na rin yun BPI CC sa abroad.

You must meet their criteria such as the following:
- have a deposit account with an ADB of 300k thereabouts
- use 4 of their products (SA, CA, CC, TD, loan, investment any combination).

But not because you meet the criteria, automatic preferred client ka na. You still have to be "invited". Or you can request pero subject to approval daw.

Personally, ang advantage lang nito sakin is the shorter line and the RM.

Help mga sis, does anyone know the contact info ng BPI Manager or officer who I can talk to so I can complain one of their products (BPI Direct Maxi Saver.) Hindi kasi nagbibigay ng interest every end of the month and I had it checked via 89-100, and wala nga daw interest dapat meron daw so they will send a complaint daw to BPI direct regarding this matter.  I did not expect na BPI is may ganitong system failure or discrepancy...i don't have any idea what causes this, manual ba nila nilalagay ang interest or may automated system sila? Anyone has experienced the same issue? Buti na lang naisipan kong i-check.

I'm just worried na hindi pala reliable ang system nila? I mean this isn't just a minor issue kumbaga if you open a TimeDeposit account with them, di pala sure na nilalagyan ng interest yun lagi unless you always check it from time to time. So I think dapat malaman sana ng high ranked officer yung ganitong case instead of just informing yung mga reps.

Someone from BPI called me and I was offered a pre-approved card with waived annual fee for lifetime. Anyone here who has the same offer with BPI? May I know what type of card will they give me? I forgot to ask if its possible to get the Amore Card. Thanks!

kakawithdraw ko lang nung monday ng first ever sahod ko from my first ever atm. parang ang ganda ng feeling. lol

di ko masyadong magets yung coupon na binigay sa akin pagkaclaim ko ng atm ko last month. may free yata na halo halo sa chowking. paano ko iaavail yun? iprepresent ko na lang or magbabayad pa ako.

di yata ako nagpay ng much attention dun sa instructions e hahaha lol

^ you'll find debit memo in your bank statement indicating a debit or deduction made on your account. It  can be from various sources like if its a checking account it can be check drawn, or for any other accounts can be interest, penalty or such.

Nabawasan ang bank account balance mo.  It can be any form like bank charges, bouncing check charge, etc.  "Credit" is nadagdagan ang bank account balance mo

mga sis just wanna share kasi medyo natuwa ako sa BPI

yesterday morning me nadebit na amount sakin eh medyo malaki (P500) kasi different bank ako nagtry magwithdraw eh that time me parang problem mga ATM dito samin so ayun nga nadebit. I tried to call during lunch time pero laging waiting kaya ginawa ko I emailed them and around 2pm nagreply sila sa email to send my contact number and best time to callback tapos I reply ayun around 5pm din yesterday they call me and today nabalik yun nadebit sakin.

ayun, natuwa lang ako kasi maganda talaga customer service nila and they are trying to reach out

wala na atang annual fee ang BPI cc? been waiting for them na bigyan ako ng charge for my 2nd year (july or august) wala talagang nagreflect. then i saw yung isang ad nila sa FB na "free for life" na annual fee. not sure kung promo lang to or what.

I have a BPI CC since 2004 pero they still charge annual fees - kasi I see it in the billing statement.

Pero never pa ako nagbayad. Mine just gets waived when I call their hotline. Then another line would appear in my billing statement saying that the fee was waived.

I think this is just for recently issued CC accounts?

Yung officemate ko have bad experience sa bpi - nawithdraw sya ng 3k ang lumabas lang is 2600 dahil 100 yung isa. Nagcomplain sya pero walang nangyai kasi tama naman daw. Nangyari sakin dati yung ganyan sa bdo  - nasingitan ng small paper yung pera kaya nadetect ni atm na pera yun. Malas lang sa officemate ko kasi kung may ibang nagwithdraw tapos 500 naman so parang nagkapalit sila.. Magbabalanse talaga yun... :-(

^^Sis, just viewing my August 21 billing statement.  Merong annual charges pa rin ako. Yun nga lang, lagi ko syang napapawaive.

^ aw.pano kaya un. sa kin sis kasi iniintay ko din magkaron kasi papawaive ko nga sana. wait ko tong susunod na bill kung may magreflect, pero sa anniversary kasi dapat ng card yun debah? baka mamaya bigla na lang icharge sa kin sa ibang date pala. lol

Naiinis naman ako sa BPI kasi yung statement of account ko sa BPI CC ay palaging late dumating at kailangan pa akong tumawag sa 89-100. More than one year na akong nagrereklamo pero wa pa ring action.
