^ if i'm not mistaken, 375 pesos ang sumatra sis. haven't seen ethiopia here yet. i also bought SB's vanilla syrup so i can make my own latte and frap at home. fave ko yung toffee nut, too bad they don't sell that syrup. will try their caffe verona coffee beans next time, maganda din reviews nito sa amazon.

^ Yap, 375 yung Sumatra.. Last week, we had to ask the supervisor of Starbucks SM Batangas to get Ethiopia sa next batch ng order nila. Hanggang medium lang ako, tapos I brew it longer than usual.

Try mo sa Farmers kung may Batangas coffee beans dun, kasi I read from one of our sissies here in GT na dun sya nabili ng coffee beans nya.

Sis KVsWahmmy, true. :o

^ Pricier yung Ethiopia kasi special offering sya ng Starbucks.. Honoring the origin of coffee eklabo haha  ;D

I brew mine with coffee press. Sabi nila, it's the best way to brew coffee. Sis, madali lang yan linisin. Running water lang. You don't even have to soap it everyday. Basta make sure the grounds is maalis pag nililinis nyo, especially dun sa sieve.

What I do is linis ko sya everyday with strong running water. Tapos every other day, warm water with little dishwashing soap. My partner naman, wash lang everyday with running water, tapos every week he washes his press with really hot water para matanggal yung coffee oils.

What you can do is to grind your beans finely, compared to the coarser grind that you need for a coffee press..

Here, I googled it (kasi I never liked espresso shots hehe too matapang for me  ;D) I just do the regular brewing with my press..

I love cbtl =) prefer cbtl than any other coffee shops. anyone tried human nature coffee? masarap ba? beans lang ba yun? or plain coffee lang nescafe?

Recommended yung press kasi DAW the water used for making coffee di daw dapat umabot ng boiling point (around 97C). Yung coffee using coffee maker has a slightly burnt taste daw, sabi ni partner, kasi nga the water gets too hot/boils.

I need coffee to survive the day! If I miss my cup of coffee in the morning, naku, withdrawal headache ako nyan. Anyway, I plan to buy coffee beans kasi from either CBTL or Starbucks para magamit ko naman yung coffee maker that we received as a wedding gift.  :)

^ sis, if you have a blender, may mini processor yun na magagamit for spices and grinding rin. most blenders carry it. i have a magic bullet so yun lang gamit ko.

I also prefer the French press compared to your regular coffee makers. Hubby and I are coffee drinkers and iba talaga ang lasa of freshly ground beans na ginamitan ng coffee press. Medyo tedious lang kasi we grind the beans only when we make the coffee. It's a ritual na for us.

^^ So true, sis mamasqueak. Freshly ground coffee beans, best talaga lasa, ambango pa..

My partner told me, ganun din ginagawa nya sa US, gina-grind lang yung beans pag gagawa na sya ng coffee.. Yung grinder nya is manually operated, kaya ritual din sa kanya yun.

Anyone here tried na the new Nescafe? It's the one in the red and black packaging? I just saw the TV ads kanina and I thought new variant na naman ng Nescafe pero parang yung way of preparation lang yung naiba yata.Slowly roasted daw kaya mas mabango at masarap. Just want to know if may naka try na and if masarap ba siya? Thinking of buying one kasi. Salamat for your inputs.  ;D
